Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red Rescue Team Speedrun FAQ

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is a video game series spin off from the main Pokémon series. The games features the fictional creatures Pokémon navigating through a randomly generated dungeon using turn-based moves, indicative of Mystery Dungeon games.
These games are based in dungeons, where a floor map is randomly generated. In the dungeons, players fight other Pokémon while obtaining items, and finding steps to the next floor. Gameplay is based on classic roguelike game, with player navigating the random generated dungeon with their Pokémon team. Movement and actions are turn-based, player can use basic attacks, Pokémon moves, and items. The game starts with one partner Pokémon, but the player can recruit other Pokémon that they meet in the dungeon into their team soon after the first mission.

For the speedrun, using 2 Pokemon is the fastest but you have to use Absol in the dungeon when you have to meet Ninetails. For my route, I use Skitty because:
- Access to Cute Charm as an ability and learn Attract at level 8 (Infatuation affects every single pokemon, including boss and can do nothing during a bunch of turns),
- STAB DoubleSlap, hits 2-5 times in a row,
- Tail-Whip + Tackle for a strong combo for the whole run (with STAB).

I'm still looking for the best partner, thinking about keeping Mudkip for Mud-Slap + Water Gun, or using Charmander OR Cyndaquil.

Stats of every single Pokémon in fixed but you can use infinites gummies and vitamins for your stats.

Items I'm looking for:
- Oran Berries,
- Max Elixirs,
- Gravelrocks,
- Power Band for Skitty,
- 2 Chesnuts for the Mankey sidequest (getting the double Chesnut is possible but it's really rare)
- 1 Link Box for a back-up strat,
- And EVERY SINGLE REVIVER SEED.

Reviver Seeds are a main item that can keep the run alive because it restores HP, PP and Belly to maximum if Pokémon faints. You can buy these seeds for 800$ at Kecleon Shop, as a reward from jobs and can be found at Sinister Wood (5-7F).

Which Pokémon/moves that can kill you in this run:
- Multi-hits moves like Fury Attack (Beedrill, Fewrow, Doduo, Rhyhorn, Rhydon, Swablu, Altaria), Fury Swipes (Furret), Fury Cutter (Zangoose), Comet Punch, Double Kick (Nidos)
- Statut moves: Paralysis from Static, Poison from Poison Sting, the ability Poison Point and sleeping move from Lunatone, Gengar.
- Gengar/Ekans/Medicham, Sunflora, Poliwag, Trapinch, Farfetch, Yanma, Houndour, Cacnea, Electabuzz, Gligar, Ampharos, Manectric, Growlithe, Zapdos, Doduo, Breloom, Murkrow, Cacturne, Heracross, Tauros, Houndoom, Tangela, Golbat, Magby, Slugma, Fearow, Arcanine, Furret, Mightyena, Lairon, Rhyhorn, Articuno, Swablu, Zangoose, Seviper, Glalie, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Graveler, Magmar, Magcargo, Rhydon, Grimer, Onix, Steelix and almost every single Pokémon at Sky Tower: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sky_Tower)
