  1. ~~~QUICK AND DIRTY SOLO GUIDE~~~
  2.
  3. Hello! If you ended up here, you probably just got a Solo and don't want to read through over a thousand pages! I don't blame you!
  4. Here's a short list to help get you going which should answer most of your questions.
  5.
  6. ~~~BEGINNINGS~~~
  7.
  8. 1. Fully charge your Solo before you begin using it.
  9. 2. Do 1-2 dry burns with the lid open at 7. That is, set it to level 7 and let it run the full 12 minute sessions without using it.
  10. 3. The stems use 1/2" screens. A lifetime supply is available for $5-10 on ebay.
  11. 4. Medium to fine grind works best for when you first start out. Once you get used to how the Solo works, you can place whole unground
  12. nugs in the stem and evenly vaporize them.
  13. 5. To get thick hits quickly, pack your stem and insert it before starting up your Solo. Let it reach your desired temperature and let
  14. it sit for 15-30 seconds after it reaches temp before you begin to draw on it. This allows the stem and material to "heat soak."
  15. 6. "Older model" Solos do not allow you to charge while using. "Newer model" Solos will let you charge and use at the same time. The
  16. other main difference between "older" vs "newer" models is that newer models also have slightly larger air holes for easier draw.
  17. 7. Once your stem is resinated, it can be scraped and added back to your stem loads, or it can be used for edibles. See online for
  18. recipes.
