- ~~~QUICK AND DIRTY SOLO GUIDE~~~
- Hello! If you ended up here, you probably just got a Solo and don't want to read through over a thousand pages! I don't blame you!
- Here's a short list to help get you going which should answer most of your questions.
- ~~~BEGINNINGS~~~
- 1. Fully charge your Solo before you begin using it.
- 2. Do 1-2 dry burns with the lid open at 7. That is, set it to level 7 and let it run the full 12 minute sessions without using it.
- 3. The stems use 1/2" screens. A lifetime supply is available for $5-10 on ebay.
- 4. Medium to fine grind works best for when you first start out. Once you get used to how the Solo works, you can place whole unground
- nugs in the stem and evenly vaporize them.
- 5. To get thick hits quickly, pack your stem and insert it before starting up your Solo. Let it reach your desired temperature and let
- it sit for 15-30 seconds after it reaches temp before you begin to draw on it. This allows the stem and material to "heat soak."
- 6. "Older model" Solos do not allow you to charge while using. "Newer model" Solos will let you charge and use at the same time. The
- other main difference between "older" vs "newer" models is that newer models also have slightly larger air holes for easier draw.
- 7. Once your stem is resinated, it can be scraped and added back to your stem loads, or it can be used for edibles. See online for
- recipes.
