  2. [18:43] Mary goes for it, Megan on her arm as she does so and wearing a longh dress , and clearly needing a good night of sleep
  3. [18:44] IcePickLobotomy Mary: it's your brother, in a pair of fatigues. "Mary!" He sweeps you into a hug "Jus' heard you're awake."

  6. [18:54] Mary "How are you?"
  7. [18:54] IcePickLobotomy "Doin' better now that I know you're ok."
  8. [19:00] Mary "Well, I , well .uh..I am feeling bad and uh..."
  9. [19:00] Mary hugs him "just want to cry"
  10. [19:01] IcePickLobotomy He pats your back, "Hey, it's gonna be ok."

  12. [19:04] IcePickLobotomy "Look, you can't think like that," He frowns "You think like that and you'll give up, and if you give up you die. You gota," he pokes your chest, right in the heart "got to believe Mary, need to have a little faith in something."

  14. [19:08] IcePickLobotomy "Shit." His voice is low, it comes out more of a sigh, "Christ almighty. Well, I was gonna offer to take you out to lunch and catch up. . ."

  27. [19:29] IcePickLobotomy He nods, "You want to take meagan with or you want to leave her here?"
  28. [19:33] Mary "She comes with me " She says a bit to protective
  29. [19:37] IcePickLobotomy "Well, I won't say no to my adorable niece comming along," He pokes Meagan's nose lightly, the girl wrinkles it in response and glares at him.
  30. [19:39] IcePickLobotomy "Anyways, found the noodle place not to far from here, a navy friend recommended it." He leads the two of you outside and into the sunny warmth of the Spanish summer.
  31. [19:47] Mary "Wait, since when are you listening to the navy?" She says amused as she follows, getting the stroller for megan out and outting her in it
  32. [19:48] IcePickLobotomy "Hey, they're not all bad. . ."
  33. [19:50] Mary "that did nor sound so the last time.." she smirks
  34. [19:59] Mary is then ready after she cushions in megan" give me a second to get her one of her toys " she says as she leaves him standing for a moment
  35. [20:06] Mary then comes back with a squeky plush toy
  36. [20:08] IcePickLobotomy He leads you down into the lower levels, level 2, just past the tower. There's no way of telling what time it is down here, the neon lights, steam, and scent of cooking food is the same regardless of the time of day, albeit its less crowded seeing as the after-work rush isn't around. He leads you into a small reteraunt tucked into the corner. THe neon sign is in Japanese, though a small note...

  38. [20:10] Mary is pushing megan along as they reach her, and well, at least it is not the burgerstore that she had visited with Kasra , just before his demise..
  39. [20:12] IcePickLobotomy Inside it's decently lit, several booths lining the walls. Behind a small curtain you can hear sizzling and the sound of someone cooking. Behind the register is a young girl, looking to be in her mid teens, with a apron. "Hello! Welcome to Tokyo Noodles," She steps forward and shows you to a booth near the back, leaving a pair of menus upon the table.
  40. [20:14] Mary Parking the stroller next to them she gets Megan out, and sits her down on her, after she herself sits down
  41. [20:17] Mary also greets the girl and then looks into the menue of course
  42. [20:17] IcePickLobotomy "Lesse. . . " Ben looks over the menu "Think I'll get the shrimp ramen. And there's a kids menu on the back for Meagan."
  43. [20:20] Mary "Oh, even if she is still a bit small for it " she says as she looks it over "oh that sounds nice, I am taking the chicken with hot sauce and rice and the kids menue samurai for megs"
  44. [20:22] IcePickLobotomy "So, I don't really know what happened outside of there was a fight, one he-heck of a lightshow from the Enterprise by the way, and one of your friends was killed."
  45. [20:26] Mary "It, basically my maschine had a error with the IFF and turned hostile and I was..."
  46. [20:28] IcePickLobotomy "Wait, how's your machine mess up that bad? I mean I've heard of friendly fire, but it turned hostile? What in god's name are those things?"
  47. [20:33] Mary "Its complicated and uh.. I think a security issue but its ... Remember the thing two weeks after my 11th birthday when you found me in panic? they can do the same"
  48. [20:34] IcePickLobotomy He nods slowly, a mixutre of confusion and worry n his face "That's. . . fu- messed up."
  49. [20:36] Mary "It is and uh yeah... it acted then out and well, I was sort of part of it like a chip in a cheap videogame
  50. [20:37] IcePickLobotomy "So you were along for the ride when it. . killed your friend."
  51. [20:38] Mary nods "And it... showed me ..Samuel."
  52. [20:40] IcePickLobotomy He frowns deeply ". . . Yeah, that's right fu-" He glances at Megan before covering her ears "rigth fucked up."
  53. [20:45] Mary "It is ... " She shivers " then I get two weeks of needle probing and then learn that Kasra died...."
  54. [20:46] IcePickLobotomy "Don't suppose there's anyone I can punch to make you feel better is there?"
  55. [20:50] Mary "No, not around here, hugs are a bit more apreciated on the other hand."
  56. [20:51] IcePickLobotomy "Yeah," He leans around the both to awkwardly wrap you in a hug

  63. [21:02] IcePickLobotomy "Uh. . " The waitress pauses awkwardly ". . . Noodles? Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt."
  64. [21:02] Mary "uh.. sorryfor the scene yes "
  65. [21:04] IcePickLobotomy "Nonono, it's fine!" She sets the bowls of steaming browth done "I uh, just . . . it's fine really!" She squeaks before heading for eh safety of the cash register
  66. [21:08] Mary blushes somewhat and looks around
  67. [21:08] IcePickLobotomy It's mostly empty, there' a old couple enjoying some noodles and speaking softly to each-other in Japanese, and a group of three grade-schoolers playing a card game with eachother while they wait for their food
  68. [21:10] Mary relaxes a bit more as she takes a deep breath
  69. [21:13] IcePickLobotomy Mary: The steam from the broth and noodles smells good, rich and salty.
  70. [21:15] IcePickLobotomy Ben swirls his with his chopsticks in a contemplative fashion.
  71. [21:18] Mary looks at it , and takes a deep breath before she starts to use them. "Something that New York was good for, I learned how to use them."
  72. [21:19] IcePickLobotomy "Heh, well I figure making a fool outa myself is a fiar price to pay for learning how to use them." He tries to bring some noodles from his bowl, only to have them slide back in wtih a small splash. Meagan giggles, finding this hilarious.
  73. [21:20] Mary "Megs, that is not nice, even if yes he is a big dummy with them"

  75. [21:20] Mary smirks at him and then starts to show how she is doing it
  76. [21:20] IcePickLobotomy "Dumby dumby!" Meagan sing songs
  77. [21:20] IcePickLobotomy Your brother frowns "She takes after you I see." He deadpans
  78. [21:21] Mary "Well, someone had to get the next iteration of brain in the family."
  79. [21:21] Mary ruffles megans hair
  80. [21:22] IcePickLobotomy "Lord knows you took more than your fair share, look at me, /I/ joined the army, I think that says everything about how bright I am."
  81. [21:23] Mary "Well you where just..motivated. And look where it got me, heck I even got a aditionalk paperwork position..
  82. [21:24] IcePickLobotomy He shrugs "So. . how are things here, overall I mean? Giant monsters and such not withstanding."
  83. [21:26] Mary "Well I got thre..two friends that are close enough and two more that are at the not so close level, I. Well there is a bit of a problem with one of my comared but . I think I can deal with it, and it is my fault. I am good at school not to surprising there. And megs is cute"

  87. [21:33] IcePickLobotomy "Nah, I mean like, I took a walk down here a few nights back, I saw a BBQ place next to a noodle stand with a russian bar all across from eachother. This place is something else."
  88. [21:36] Mary "Well I mean my best girlfriends here are a russian, a Japanese and someone from back home."

  116. [23:06] IcePickLobotomy "Good. . ." He pokes at them "So. . . . you said you were friends with a girl from the states? That Old Ironside's girl?"
