  1. Somewhere inside the dark underground city known as Argon City, a lone building made of marble is set up. Those who enters its door can be distinguished into two types - Those who are "Guilty", and those who are not. Inside, there are no windows, but a set of artificial lighting dangling from its ceiling, and no doors, except the entrance and the execution hall door.
  2.
  3. Sitting in the middle of the large hall is a lone judge, dressed in fancy red robes and golden crown over her head. She holds absolute power over the lives of the guilty, and whoever she wants to be dead will be dead. Her power is so feared that everyone within her eyesight would tremble and lower their voices to whispers and mutters. Who is she? Nobody can ever answers it, other than they only refer her as "Judge" and the building as "Slaughter".
  4.
  5. ===
  6. "Silence!"
  7.
  8. Her voice is loud and clear, striking fear to the mob that was busy fighting about the fate of the previous 'Guilty' : A low-level thief that made his way to the Judge's house. In less than ten seconds the hall was very, very, silent, so silent you can hear a pin dropped from the other way of the hall.
  9.
  10. "Bring me the next."
  11.
  12. And so, with her words, two people barged in from the entrance, holding a man that has been beaten up over and over again. He was dropped ten steps away from the Judge's throne, kneeling in front of her. His hands and feet has been tied up times and times with chains and ropes, there are no possible way to escape the binds.
  13.
  14. She began to read out loud the piece of paper that she holds in her left hand. "You are 'Prince' Vishtar of Agonis, and you are guilty for murdering three of my guards. Sentence : Death. What is your defense, Vishtar?"
  15.
  16. The man sits silent for a moment before piercing the silence with his deep voice. "I am doing it in self defense, Your Highness. Your guards, they... They do not respect my god, me, and my people."
  17.
  18. "Your people, you say? Your, hypothetical, people? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, I should try that drug you took last week, it seems like a lot of fun." Her laugh forced the mob around her to laugh with her too, ever so slightly. She knows when a human in her hall is not obeying her orders and she can murder that human on the spot.
  19.
  20. "No, they are real." He replied, drowned by the laughter of the mob.
  21.
  22. "Oh my, oh my. SILENCE!" And once again the mob shuts their voices up. "Now, as the rules say, 'An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a life for a life. I, hereby, declare you as guilty, and your sentence is death. Guards, bring him in." She stands up, looking at him straight in the eye with her gray eyes. He did not reply. But those who can see his back can notice a small, blue fire starts to lit up from his hands.
  23.
  24. As the guards around her try to lift him up, suddenly he lashed out in an explosion of intense blue flame. It instantly killed the adjacent guards, leaving her defenseless.
  25.
  26. Vishtar, now free from his restraints, stands up and challenges the Judge herself, something that have never happened before. The mob, that was silent, start to cheer on Vishtar. They want to see the two duking it out, and she is not a very hesitant fighter.
  27.
  28. "Oh, so you want to fight me? Well, so it be. If you win, I will let you live, and if you die, your head will be paraded around this place so that everyone will know you as a pathetic being." She removes her red robe and reveals a rather tight black suit, with straps of knives and other sharp weapons.
  29.
  30. "I accept it."
