  6. During the second grade, I felt misunderstood. I was a good student, got good grades, but I was always bored in school. It started on a normal day, I went to Atlantic Charter School. I got done with my work like normal and I was bored so I tried to find something to do, I asked my teacher for more work or something to do, but she came back with nothing, I was starting to get extremely bored. I started tapping things, because I had nothing to. People asked me to stop, but I didn’t. My teacher sent me to the office. I refused to go to the office because I felt that I wasn’t doing anything wrong. The teacher sent someone to escort me out of the class, When that person arrived, I still refused to leave. They started to physically remove me from the class, I tried my best not to leave. After the person removed me from the class. We had to go down a flight of stairs, and because I wanted to stay in class and not go to the office, I grabbed onto the rails of the stairwell and refused to move. The person failed to move me and got two more people to help move me down a flight of stairs. They eventually succeeded in getting me down the stairs and into the office. My mother was then called to pick me up. When my mother arrived to the principal's office she found me hiding under a chair in the corner of the room and took me home.
  7. This event made me fearful of school. I never wanted to go back to school, It took me a long time to realize that school isn’t bad. The biggest thing was, it made me feel misunderstood. All I wanted to do was stay in class and learn. After that event, I was transferred to Green School and was placed into a behavioral class. It wasn’t the worst, but it wasn’t any better than Charter. Middle school wasn’t any different. Then high school came. Freshmen year was hell. I was failing most of my classes, I was hospitalized 3 or 4 times. Then came sophomore year. It wasn’t that bad. I made some friends and realized that school isn’t so bad, and then was junior year. I’m passing all my classes and I’m doing great.
