  2. So, you've gotten to the end of the game, or close to it, and you're probably wondering what the fuck to do, chances are there really isn't much unless you want to grind away in the chaos labyrinth.

  4. However, regardless of what your plans are, here's a handy guide to show what intermediate and advanced jobs give useful abilities, these will be split into 5 categories according to the in-game separations.

Masteries: Masteries work by giving specific equipment categories, or multiple categories within the same vein, massive stat boosts, some jobs already have masteries baked into them, so it's important to not waste points by giving someone masteries their job already grants them by default, these can be found in the job change menu at the bottom of the description.

  8. Weapon Boosters: Weapon boosters apply damage increases to specific skillsets, always includes normal attacks, the list will provide the other skillsets it applies to.

  10. Stat Increases: Boosters for specific stats apply the boost based on the total combined stat and equipment modifiers, so a 30% boost to 1000 defense would be 300 more defense.

  12. Element and Damage modifiers: These apply flat damage increases at presumably before the enemy's defense is taken into account.

  16. - Sword Booster +30% - Swordmaster, Monster Swordsman - (Any "Sword" type weapon) Sword, Pirating, Justice, Ruling, Heroism
  17. - Spear Booster +30% - Holy Lancer, Dark Dragon Knight - (Spears, Lances) Spear, Multiweapon
  18. - Katana Booster 30% - Samurai Saint, Dark Samurai - (Katana Only) Katana, Multiweapon
  19. - Club Booster 30% - Giga Fighter - (Clubs Only) Club, Multiweapon
  20. - Flail Booster 30% - Giga Fighter - (Flails Only) Flail, Multiweapon
  21. - Axe Booster 30% - Berserker - (Axes Only) Axe, Multiweapon
  22. - Fist Booster 30% - Saint Fist, Dark Fist - (Fists Only) Fist, Multiweapon
  23. - Attack +30% - Giga Fighter, Berserker - 30% attack stat increase
  24. - Counter 50% - Saint Fist - Increases Physical Counter rate by 50% (there seems to be diminishing returns the higher you go)
  25. - Magic Counter 50% - Force Monk - Increases Magical Counter rate by 50% (Seems to also have diminishing returns)
  26. - Crit Rate 50% - Dark Fist - Increases Crit rate by 50% (Seems to also have diminishing returns)
  27. - Darkness - Dark Fist - Normal attack costs 2% of max HP, but does 2.5x damage, has dark element, and may inflict instant death
  28. Job
  29. - Agility +30% - Saint Fist - 30% Agility stat increase
  30. Magic
  31. - MP +30% - Increases max MP by 30%
  32. - Magic +30% - Inferno/Arctic/Gigavolt Mage - 30% Magic stat increase
  33. - Fire Booster +30% - Inferno Mage - Boosts fire damage by 30%
  34. - Ice Booster +30% - Arctic Mage - Boosts ice damage by 30%
  35. - Lightning Booster +30% - Gigavolt Mage - Boosts lightning damage by 30%
  36. - Rod Booster +30% - Spirit Summoner - (Rods only), Black, Time, Summoning, Dark, Taoism, and Ruling
  37. - Staff Booster +30% - Holy Mage - (Staves Only) White, Holy, Ruling
  38. - MP Regen 2% - Magical Girl - Regen 2% of max MP per turn
  39. Defense
  40. - Defense +30% - Holy Knight - 30% Defense stat increase
  41. - Willpower +30% - God Hand, Holy Mage - 30% Willpower stat increase
  42. Special
  43. - Sword Mastery - Swordmaster, Master Swordcerer - Applies to all "sword" type weapons (magical, normal, huge, knight)
  44. - Spear Mastery - Holy Knight, Holy Lancer - Applies to Spears and Lances
  45. - Katana Mastery - Samurai Saint - Applies only to Katanas
  46. - Club Mastery - Giga Fighter - Applies only to Clubs
  47. - Flail Mastery - Giga Fighter - Applies only to flails
  48. - Axe Mastery - Berserker - Applies only to Axes
  49. - Fist Mastery - Saint Fist, Force Monk, God Hand - Applies only to Fists
  50. - Rod Mastery - Inferno/Arctic/Gigavolt Mage, Spacetime Mage, Cosmic Taoist - Applies only to rods
  51. - Staff Mastery - Holy Mage - Applies only to staves
  52. - Triple SP Charge - Berserker - Triples SP gain when guarding or attacking
