  1. Ace (24) is generally the middle of the road at everything. Middle strength, average powers, all around a solid, if neutral character. Think Robin from Teen Titans. When he has issues, he manages to bury them quickly. Ace grew up as the oldest of a large family, Rabbits, you know. He is very comfortable acting as the face of the team, and it didn't take long before everyone gravitated to him. He's very capable of holding his own in a fight, but he is especially useful when he directs the others in the team. His biggest flaws, and the focus of his first him specific episode, is that he doesn't reach out to others for help on his problems. He does this to be noble, stating that "Everyone else has so much on their plates already. I don't want to weigh them all down with my little problems." Girls(And a few guys, but very rarely) are always hitting on him, but he doesn't return their lust. He only has eyes for a (currently undeveloped) reporter. Any time she's around, his ability to interact with the public goes right out the window. Side plots deal with the team helping him overcome his anxiety around his crush. He sometimes has to be missing in order to help with family issues/family reunions, leaving leadership in the hands of the other Lunatics.

  3. Lex (21) is one of the more physically gifted of the Lunatics. She's quick and nimble and quick and nimble. The character I consider her to be most like is Dr. Reed from Scrubs, or Robin from HIMYM (I have such obscure tastes). An only child, her parents had specific plans for her all her life. She decided that those plans weren't for her, and as a result the relationship between her and her parents is strained. They try to talk her out of being a "Brawler" and into being something more respectable, but she doesn't care. She's good at this, and most importantly, she's happy. Lex is generally seen by the team as the number two, but she doesn't see that early on. She also starts out with a huge crush on Ace. Her first episode is where she tries to win Ace's love by changing who she is so that she's more like the reporter Ace crushes on. She realizes that she's unhappy denying who she is, and that she just needs to be herself. Eventually she moves on from Ace, and is happier for that.
  4.
  5. Tech (29) is by far the smartest of the team. With that, however, comes physical limitations. He tries his hardest to avoid physical confrontation, preferring to help out from the sides. Just because he can regenerate doesn't stop it from hurting. He has a twin sister, although she doesn't show up much. She's an international soccer player, receiving most of the physical genes. Tech, on the other hand, received the mental genes. She invites her brother and his "Weird" friends to watch her matches. The team is always happy to go, much to Tech's embarrassment. Tech stutters, has little muscle mass, has obscure tastes, but he is so comfortable with who he is that no one can mock him for it. Just don't let him pick anything for movie night. As seen by outsiders, he's the worst Lunatic. "He doesn't even fight." says one snot nosed brat that doesn't even have super powers. This is the focus of his first him episode. Ultimately, he grows in the eyes of others, though this is gradual through the show. Occasionally someone doesn't like him, a call back to this episode. He's also bi, because I'm a pervert. He's dated a few girls, and a pair of guys. He's comfortable with this fact, but doesn't tell anyone about his love life.
  6.
  7. Rev (19) is the obviously the speedster. This doesn't just mean he runs fast. He also jumps into situations without fully understanding them. Especially early on, this leads to a lot of problems with the team, leading to him feeling bad about his performance with the team. He always tries too hard, but the early failures make him stronger in the long run. Rev is the youngest of the three. The oldest child is the current brother in LU, with a little more acceptance from his father. The middle child is an all around golden child. Mid bro feels like he's looked over and taken for granted, eventually leading to him becoming a villain. Rev is the youngest, and his parents are most forgiving of his screw ups. Like in LU, he still isn't very technically prolific. His first episode centers on how he often ruins plans by trying to improvise too much. His interests are incredibly wide, and he rarely follows through on these interests. He's a typical ADHD child. Because of perversion, he's closeted gay. So closeted, he doesn't even realize it himself until halfway through S1. This is kept secret from others for a while, but gradually he begins to accept himself with the help of Tech.

  9. Danger (18) is the team slacker. Where Rev tries too hard to be more that he currently is, Danger is very content with who he is. Adopted by a wealthy family, life has been very easy for him. The only reason he's part of the team is in the pursuit of "Hot babes." Ace is constantly trying to push him, leading to a lot of friction. He's the Starscream of the team. In one early episode, he tries to form his own team on the side in order to get more of the spotlight. This fails, obviously, but Ace is proud of him for at least trying. He has a history of being in trouble with the law(Minor pranks and one shoplifting experience), and sometimes this is brought up by the police. He's still the team punching bag, although he gets a few victories here and there. Like Johnny from the first Fantastic 4 movie(Wow, great reference I know.), he assumes he is the leader of the team. "Being the most attractive, I'll take this." His high moments shine bright, but he does get on the nerves of the team.
  10.
  11. Slam (30 something) is the team muscle. He's big, he's cocky, and he's not very clever. The smartest thing he's going to do is follow orders from Ace to perfection. At this point, he's a more self aware Knuckles Boom. He has a slight lisp, because apparently 33% of the team has speech impediments. I'm just trying to make him match up with his original appearance. He'll ham it up for the entertainment of his friends, knowing that he's not dumb, but he just happens to be around some great minds. Currently I can't think of a good plot for him. He's just a flying brick, I'll figure this out later.

  14. Brawn and Brain ratings of each Lunatic
  15.
  16. Ace: 6 and 6. Very balanced, but not great at either. He leads the team while taking the fight head on
  17. Lex: 7 and 4. She's one of the strongest on the team, but she doesn't take lead that often.
  18. Tech: 2 and 10. By far the smartest on the team, Tech isn't much use in direct fights, acting more like a glass canon.
  19. Rev: 7 and 3. Insane speed comes with a lot of power, but he also is far too impulsive. Makes mistakes often, but he's willing to learn.
  20. Danger: 8/4 and 6/2. He's the least consistent on the team. When he's motivated he could be the best, and when he isn't he's the worst.
  21. Slam: 9 and 3. He knows his position in the team, and gladly follows commands to protect his friends. Not an innovator.
