  2. Narrator has connected.
  3. Ben has connected.
  4. Ben: Which to me is a bit mind blowing, I didn't honestly expect to be going to MD, but I put it on my 'dream sheet'
  5. Narrator: You'll be in DC Wednesday or Thursday?
  6. Ben: Thursday, IF I pass on Wednesday
  7. Ben: 1pm According to my flight
  8. Ben: Granted I'll be going directly to base
  9. Ben: Also hallo DNA
  10. Narrator: Well, lemme know how things go.
  11. DNA: Hi; I woke up about 15 minutes ago.
  12. Ben: I'll stay in touch
  13. Narrator: Sleepy DNA was sleepy?
  14. DNA: Apparently! I got really really tired all of a sudden and then just conked out for an hour.
  15. Ben: So how's the food out there?
  16. Ben: Actually questions for another day
  17. Narrator: Foods good. And fattening.
  18. Avara has connected.
  19. Grace has connected.
  20. DNA: o/
  21. Avara: hi
  22. Actinidia has connected.
  23. Narrator: brb, foods
  24. Narrator: Okay, back.
  25. Avara: welcome back!
  26. Narrator: Oh right. Last week's session was a fight.
  27. Narrator: Were you making a stop at the Reshiram's domain or heading straight to the White House?
  28. Actinidia: The plan was heading straight to the white house, so far as I know. I am fine with any detours the other wish to make.
  29. Avara: straight to the white house.
  30. DNA: Straight to the White House!
  31. Narrator: The hell is paint 3d?
  32. DNA: Don't know. Never heard of it.
  33. Narrator: Ohfuck. It's paint for windows 10.
  34. Narrator: And its shit.
  35. Narrator: fml
  36. July 26th, Monday.
  37. 72 degrees and it feels nice.
  38. 12mph wind and it is dark.
  39. It is 10:05 PM.
  40. Narrator: Your team arrives at the White House, only to find that the flow of water has significantly increased and the tunneling project to create a small stream was a success. You can hear combat somewhere inside and there's a medium sized Pokémon (Mega Mawile) standing just outside of the white houses boarders. He is surrounded by sacks, boxes and chests.
  41. Actinidia: Actinidia walked with a little less spring in her step now that the sun was down.
  42. Actinidia: Actinidia uses Perception (Hearing) to judge the nature of the combat. Friendly sparring or an actual raid? 4+1+6+3=14
  43. Actinidia: Actinidia smiled, reassured. "It sounds like Setszas is organizing training drills."
  44. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Setszas..." Mars tries to rack his memory. "That's your son, right?"
  45. Actinidia: Actinidia nodded. "I told him to find a better way to train and get stronger than going out into kill or be killed hunts. Now lets see what this pokemon with the crates wants."
  46. Pierce Mars Oswell: "It feels like we've been gone a long while, even though it's only been one day. But...yeah, let's see who this guy is. If we're lucky, he'll be a merchant."
  47. Actinidia: Actinidia approaches!
  48. Actinidia: "Hello. What are all of these boxes?"
  49. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 looks up at Actinidia as she approaches and gives her the once over.
  50. Mega Mawile 1: "Hm. So we're in the same egg group. That's interesting..." Mega Mawile 1 says before standing up, "Allow me to introduce myself properly."
  51. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 turns around so the two giant fanged mouths are facing you, "Greetings. I am Slen. These belongings you see around me are mine, but I am willing to part with them for some gems. I'm sure you've encountered some gems on your travels."
  52. Actinidia: Actinidia reached into a pocket to draw out some Rubi. "Like these?"
  53. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 produces a few gems as examples, "The red ones I call rubies. They're common and less valuable. The blue ones I call saffira. They uncommon, more valuable. And the green ones I call emerals. They're rare and the most valuable."
  54. Actinidia: "Sounds like my experience. A number of Rubi, one Saffira and no Emerals."
  55. Mega Mawile 1: "I'd say they're worth a hundred to one down." Mega Mawile 1 nods to Actinidia's statement, "A hundred rubi are one saffira. And a hundred saffira are one emeral."
  56. * Etna looks around in her bag. "20 saffira, and 90 rubies."
  57. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Have you ever found or seen an emeral?"
  58. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 spins the emeral he's using as an example before putting his gems away.
  59. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Ah, right. Sorry. I have a hard time seeing sometimes."
  60. Mega Mawile 1: "Blind as a Zubat, are we? That's alright." Mega Mawile 1 chuckles, "I have various things for youer perusal. Food, drink, medicine, magical accessories - held items for those previously human - even clothes."
  61. Actinidia: Actinidia tapped her chin, "What kind of things do you have for sale? We were looking for food, or seeds to grow."
  62. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars chuckles. "Sometimes the face helmet gets in the way."
  63. Actinidia: "I'm curious about magical accessories, as much as this Everstone helps.
  64. DNA: eviolite
  65. Actinidia: (right right)
  66. Grace Leonhardt: "And please tell me you're getting these things through trade instead of more bandity kinda sources...?"
  67. Mega Mawile 1: (( I was about to say. wtf does an everstone do? ))
  68. DNA: Huh, Everstones aren't in PAGE. Just did a quick check.
  69. Mega Mawile 1: "My wife goes on expeditions with our children. To, hopefully, vacant places. Though anyone foolish enough to attack them just adds to our stock. We don't look for trouble, or welcome it. But we don't let anything go to waste."
  70. Actinidia: Actinidia perception empathies for the truth! 6+4+6+1=17 (STUNT! 6 Stunt Points)
  71. Actinidia: no stunt
  72. Mega Mawile 1: "That's good enough for you, I hope. My acquisition of wares won't be changing in how they get it."
  73. Grace Leonhardt: She'll relax at hearing that though. "Yes... it's honestly good to hear that it's done like that."
  74. Actinidia: No other methods? I can't help shake the feeling there's a bit more too it than that, our coin will be looser if we know we can trust you." Communication (Persuasion)1+4+6+6=17
  75. Actinidia: Persuasion to share a few trade secrets, so to speak.
  76. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 rubs his chin, "Other ways? Well, I don't like to talk about it you see. I'm a hoarder."
  77. Avara: taking ADHD meds. can't focus.
  78. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 chuckles again, "I buy stuff people don't mind parting with. But not for much, you see. I like my gems."
  79. Actinidia: Follow up empathy 3+2+1+1=7
  80. Actinidia: (True or not, I probably wont get a read).
  81. Actinidia: Actinidia smiled, "That's fair. Thank you for sharing, I appreciate it. I can't help but be a little paranoid in this day and age. Have you told those inside the walls about your services?"
  82. Mega Mawile 1: "I have. They don't mind me sitting here but they come to check up on me from time to time. Make sure I'm still here and not in there, see." Mega Mawile 1 nods his jaws in the direction of the White House, "You wanna talk about paranoid you talk about them snakes, see? They're paranoid. And workaholics. Preparing for war or something. At least the little green one is."
  83. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 motions to Actinidia, "Same species as you. I'm waiting for the leader of this group to come back. Way they talk about 'em they're something special. Big, or so I'm guessing."
  84. Mega Mawile 1: "Gotta be to take down an Onix and some lackies."
  85. Actinidia: "Setszas, my son. I asked him to find a way to train for battle without going out and hunting." Actinidia gave a sly smile. "Big, you say?"
  86. * Etna shrugs her forelegs as best she can at the big comment.
  87. Etna: "Size isn't everything, really."
  88. * Pierce Mars Oswell doesn't say anything - he just waits to see what the Mawile's reaction will be.
  89. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 grinds his teeth in thought, "So you're the leader? Well, forgive me for not being impressed." Mega Mawile 1 says with a shrug.
  90. Actinidia: "We are the acting leaders, though our organization is a work in progress. I am Actinidia. This is Etna, Grace, Mars and our friend Uraruren."
  91. Mega Mawile 1: "You definitely had the type for it. I'm assuming Grass. If you're Bug I swear you're a liar."
  92. * Pierce Mars Oswell nods as his name is mentioned.
  93. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I don't know. I've seen bugs do some pretty scary things."
  94. Uraruren: Uraruren nods.
  95. Actinidia: "I dealt a good deal of damage to the Onix. Uraruren did land the finishing blow. She's lethal when she wants to be, which is whenever she's in battle."
  96. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...I try not to think about it."
  97. Uraruren: Uraruren shudders and just curls up on Etna's shoulder.
  98. Grace Leonhardt: "Yeah... a change in management was... apparently needed when one of our friends lost family to them."
  99. Mega Mawile 1: "You're diverse, that's powerful. My wife's diverse. In and of herself. That's not saying anything about our kids though." Mega Mawile 1 chuckles again, "Well then, I suppose you'll be heading on in to your encampment then?"
  100. Actinidia: "Weren't you waiting to speak with us?"
  101. Mega Mawile 1: "Well, I'll sit out here until you wanna talk. I'd like to set up shop in a safe place, network out and build something worth something again."
  102. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh god that sounds WAY more sinister than I meant it to be! Uh, well... I uh... just stay quiet." She'll say as she ends up mumbling to herself.
  103. Mega Mawile 1: "I do. When I can confirm you are who you say you are."
  104. Mega Mawile 1: "I've heard stories of that Onix, lass. You're not sounding sinister at all to me."
  105. Actinidia: "Very well. It would be nice to get this load off of my back." Actinidia glanced to all the supplies she had been carrying."
  106. Actinidia: Actinidia heads inside, if no one else has any business there.
  107. * Etna will head inside as well, keeping an eye on Ura.
  108. Mega Mawile 1: Mega Mawile 1 nods to Actinidia and watches her walk into the hornets nest.
  109. * Pierce Mars Oswell will go in, but will bring up the rear, having Grace go ahead of him.
  110. Narrator: (( Holy shit my daughter is watching Free Willy. ))
  111. DNA: The first one?
  112. Narrator: (( Yah. ))
  113. Avara: huh. i don't think i ever saw that all the way through
  114. DNA: Is it good or is it just okay?
  115. Narrator: (( I remember liking it as a kid. I'm trying not to be distracted by it. ))
  116. Narrator: (( It came out in '93. ))
  117. Avara: so that's two of us with distraction issues. >>
  118. Narrator: Inside of the White House you can see that a few pools were dug out by the snakes to funnel water into accessible places. You see several Ekans and Dunsparce sitting around some of the soil they were milling with their bodies chatting, taking a needed rest from the work.
  119. Narrator: Over on the cement you can see it's been cleaned of debris and there are two Ekans standing about 6 meters apart with Setszas standing off to the side and waving his arms around, attempting to coordinate them as they throw balls of purple aura back and forth.
  120. Narrator: Alvarex is nowhere to be found.
  121. Actinidia: Actinidia finds a good spot to place the materials she was hauling, then glances around for Alvarex. Since that was answered before I could hit enter, Actinidia instead asks a resting group if they had seen him.
  122. * Etna will also offload found supplies. Yay, not covered in things!
  123. * Pierce Mars Oswell will see if there's some sort of designated storage area for the supplies. ...Is there one?
  124. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will go find a place to stash away her share of the chocolate and to drop off the things. She'll start transporting food to the kitchen once she has her own stash set away.
  125. Narrator: Any snakes asked about Alvarex will mention he's inside, clearing things up. Apparently, he's been the one taking care of all the debris while everyone else worked.
  126. Actinidia: Actinidia gives Setzsas a wave, but not enough to distract him.
  127. Actinidia: Setszas*
  128. Actinidia: A "hey I'm back" wave before going inside to look for her other son.
  129. Setszas: Setszas glances as he sees Actinidia and doesn't wave to her, "Take a break, ladies." Setszas says before making his way over to Actinidia.
  130. Setszas: "Welcome home, mother. It's good to see you back safely.
  131. Actinidia: Actinidia stops from going inside. "It's good to be back. It looks like you have been busy."
  132. * Pierce Mars Oswell was carrying a lot of the dried food, so he goes to look for the pantry. I think he remembers where it is?
  133. Setszas: Setszas nods, "I've spoken at length with the creature at our doorstep. He was human once and had scant knowledge of our ancestry."
  134. Setszas: (( He should. You guys spent a fair time in it. ))
  135. Pierce Mars Oswell: Thought so! Mars goes off that way to deposit the food. Also sees if anyone is there at the time.
  136. Setszas: "I've tried to get him to disclose as much information as I could. From that, however, I've learned there's a way to fling aura and launch a technique at the same time. I've been trying to learn it myself as well as teach others here how to do it."
  137. Narrator: You find the Dratini (all of them) are located there. Separating canned goods from non-perishables and the perishables from everything else.
  138. Actinidia: "The one outside is waiting for the leaders to return. He didn't take my word so he's waiting for proof. I don't exactly care to bend to the whims of strangers, but if we can satisfy his concerns we might make a profitable deal with him." Actinida smiled at Setszas's technique development. "That's wonderful, I'd love for you to teach me more when we have the time."
  139. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Hi, I brought a bunch of dried food back. Where would you like me to store it?"
  140. Dratini: "Dried food? What's that? Can it be stored and last?"
  141. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yep. Has a very long shelf life. ...Dried means that there's no water content in it, so it doesn't really spoil."
  142. Pierce Mars Oswell: "It's like..." He tries to think of an analogy. "It's like canned food you don't need a can for."
  143. Setszas: "Assuming you don't figure it out on your own, mother." Setszas says with a nod, "I have found a more powerful way to mitigate damage done to oneself. I learned of it after having a diverse knowledge of techniques. I haven't been able to reproduce this knowledge in any others. I think it may be related."
  144. Setszas: "I have not, however, been able to figure out how to reduce damage from things like Absorb. I wonder if such a way even exists."
  145. Dratini: "That sounds really useful! Put it over by the honey."
  146. Dratini: Another Dratini suddenly chimes up with a chirp, "No! I keep telling you honey is medicine! Not food!"
  147. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Honey is food, it just has good medicinal properties. I used to put a drop or two of it in my tea whenever I would have a cold."
  148. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Also hella tasty."
  149. Actinidia: ((... if only I was there))
  150. DNA: heheheheheh
  151. Actinidia: "Reproducing knowledge of techniques? That is valuable. I've been using a lot of healing techniques, almost on instict. I've tried to explain how I do them to myself while traveling, but I don't have the words to express the sensations and movement of energy. If you can teach me how to teach others, I feel having a number of healing specialists would only be helpful to us."
  152. Dratini: "Setszas said it was better suited for medicine since we have no medicinal supplies and we have more than enough food for the time being so it should be separated. Something about preservative or anti-septic or something..."
  153. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Setszas would be correct."
  154. Dratini: "We'll uh, let you decide then. We were just following his orders."
  155. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Honey should go with the medicine."
  156. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Which means my cargo should go with or near the canned food, since it will last longer."
  157. Setszas: "Not quite what I meant." Setszas chuckles, "I know of a way to forget all techniques a Pokémon knows. This can be useful for getting them to learn new things when learning new things appears to be difficult. But in doing so, I haven't managed to get others to learn better mitigation techniques like the one I know, despite having a variety of different types of techniques. That is what I meant."
  158. Setszas: "I haven't figured out how to teach specific techniques to others. And forgetting all techniques seems to have a limitation on how often it can be done so I don't recommend using it frequently should you choose to."
  159. Dratini: Dratini nods to you and shows you where that is.
  160. Actinidia: "Oh, hm. I'm curious about the mitigation techniques too. I don't have any, I'm simply good at regenerating."
  161. * Pierce Mars Oswell places them there, nods, and goes on his way.
  162. Setszas: "As loathe as I am to say it, you could perhaps talk to Alvarex about tutoring. He's got a force of personality and is good with talking with others. He may be able to assist you."
  163. Actinidia: "In that case I'll go find him, I was meaning to check up on him and see how he was handling things here. I'm happy to see you're doing okay, I'm proud of you."
  164. Actinidia: Actinidia does not hug Setszas, as much as she would like to, but says her goodbye and parts to find her other son.
  165. Grace is disconnected.
  166. Alvarex: Alvarex can be found pushing boulders thrice his size from within the white house to the rear of the building. He's sweating but has gained significant muscle since you last saw him at birth.
  167. Avara: test
  168. Alvarex: (( Hallo ))
  169. Actinidia is disconnected.
  170. Actinidia has connected.
  171. Alvarex: Alvarex can be found pushing boulders thrice his size from within the white house to the rear of the building. He's sweating but has gained significant muscle since you last saw him at birth.
  172. Actinidia: "Alvarex!" Actinidia shouted, waving her arms in greeting.
  173. Alvarex: Alvarex pauses and wipes his brow before turning while patting his chest, "I am he!" Alvarex's voice has grown seductively deep and masculine since you last spoke with him.
  174. Grace has connected.
  175. Actinidia: "You've really been working hard! The ladies must be all over you."
  176. Grace: Grace comes out back from the kitchens. "Oh! Pierce, I managed to get some of that. There's still plenty of storage space in the kitchen once we cleaned out the vegies and stuff."
  177. Grace Leonhardt: ^
  178. Alvarex: Alvarex shrugs, "I don't find them to be all that appealing, honestly. I'm more of a quadreped or biped kind of guy. The lack of limbs is a real turn off to me."
  179. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Ah, good! I already dropped it off in the pantry, but if we need to move it later, that's good to know. Thanks."
  180. Alvarex: "Say, that one lady with you. The biped one? She's a real cutie. Mind hooking me up with her when she evolves out of her baby form? She's going to be a real lady, if you know what I mean." Alvarex says with a wink and a nudge, "Y'know. Just get my food in the door."
  181. DNA: please tell me he means foot, not food
  182. Alvarex: "Not that you aren't a real lady, mama. But, you're my mama. Kinda weird being attracted to you. So I don't think about it."
  183. Alvarex: (( Yes, foot ))
  184. Actinidia: "I see I see..." Actinidia took note of this.
  185. DNA: wait, Alvarex was the flamboyant one, right?
  186. Actinidia: (ALVAREX! Was the ALVAREX! ONE!)
  187. DNA: Right, thank you. I got them backwards in my head, because Setszas is a more metal-sounding name to me.
  188. Actinidia: ((Setszas wanted a lot of Sses. Alvarex wanted the bold, strong one)
  189. Grace Leonhardt: (Feels funky to be reading indrect flirting aimed at grace.)
  190. DNA: Just be grateful that she isn't in the room.
  191. DNA: The perks of having a rare egg group is that no one will want to flirt with you.
  192. Ben: (Yet)
  193. Ben: (No one will flrt with you yet.)
  194. DNA: Actually, one of the Snivy tried to flirt with me! even though we don't share a group.
  195. Actinidia: "Careful how you speak with her though, evolution or not, she's years older than you." Actinidia laughed. "So what have you accomplished since I was gone?" She turned to observe his work in more detail.
  196. Alvarex: (( Your fault for being so strong and sturdy. ))
  197. Alvarex: "The place was filthy. So I cleaned it up. Started with cleaning up the breeding room. Which smelled of busts and stuff."
  198. Alvarex: "How the hell these people managed to breed in that disgusting place is beyond me. I know I never would. So I cleaned it. Realized that breeding on debris is uncomfortable, so I started cleaning that up. Then realized boulders are just giant eyesore debris, so I cleaned those too. No one else wanted to even help."
  199. DNA: (Why did God make me so beautiful!?)
  200. Alvarex: "Too busy wiggling in dirt and water to even notice!"
  201. Actinidia: "I'm glad. I do want our chambers to be presentable."
  202. Actinidia: "Would you care to show me?"
  203. Alvarex: "Show you...the...breeding room?"
  204. Alvarex: "I uh, don't think I should. It'd be weird."
  205. Actinidia: "Haha, very well, I will look over it in my spare time. I'm sure Mars would be willing to help you clean, though his limbs are a bit lacking at this stage. He is still strong, I believe."
  206. Alvarex: "He's a weird one. All...rocky and...shiny?" Alvarex shrugs, "Not too unlike all the debris I had a hell of a time pushing! Think they're related?"
  207. Alvarex: "Well, if he wants to help clean the place - too bad! I'm almost done! Then, with my new-found Strength, I will attempt to impress the ladies~" Alvarex wiggles suggestively as he says that, "Perhaps with grappling. Or backflips."
  208. Alvarex: Alvarex performs a seductively wiggly backflip performance for you to note his design.
  209. Alvarex: 2+3+6+5=16
  210. DNA: For the past 5 minutes I've been tempted for Mars to walk in right as some out of context comment is being said
  211. Actinidia: Actinidia applauds in that "proud mother" way. The same way she would have if Alvarex had rolled straight 1s.
  212. DNA: ahahaha
  213. Actinidia: "Have you put much thought into teaching others? I've been wanting to find a way to teach my healing techniques to other pokemon, but I just haven't figured out how yet."
  214. Grace Leonhardt: (That deserves a second D'awww of the night.)
  215. Alvarex: Alvarex nods and bows, "Thanks, mama. Did you need anything, by chance? Setszas has the training down. I was just doing silly things. Didn't think you'd seek me out yet. My plan hasn't come to fruition."
  216. Alvarex: "Really? Like, battle techniques? Yeah. It's pretty darn easy." Alvarex nods, "But the capacity for such knowledge is limited. I'd say a person roughly has the capacity for three techniques to be taught this way. Pretty darn useful though."
  217. Alvarex: "Though, my brother, as brilliant as he is, has an idiot when it comes to social interaction. So that could be why he sucks at it." Alvarex shrugs, "I figured you'd have this down too, mother."
  218. Alvarex: (Tutoring requires at least 3 Communication, or at least 1 Communication and a focus in leadership, persuasion or seduction)
  219. Actinidia: "Oh? I can't wait to see what you have planned." Actinidia's eyes widened, "Oh? So you did find a way?" (Actinidia has 1 Communication and Seduction)
  220. Alvarex: (You can have a max of 3 tutored techniques. Ever.)
  221. DNA: "Hey big boy, wanna learn something new?"
  222. Alvarex: (FYI, you must meet the prerequisites to learn a technique even through tutoring)
  223. DNA: "Oh. That's not what I was expecting."
  224. Alvarex: Alvarex nods, "I could teach you something. But you probably already know all the stuff I know. Right? Like Leaf Tornado."
  225. Alvarex: Alvarex scratches his head, "Fire Fang...Harden..."
  226. Actinidia: "I know Synthesis, Grassy Terrain, Refresh and Absorb. I can heal, very well."
  227. Alvarex: Alvarex scratches his head, "You know a lot of...green stuff is sounds like. Huh. Setszas knows some weird stuff."
  228. Actinidia: "Oh, Heal Pulse. But knowing it and using it are two completely different feats."
  229. Alvarex: "I could teach you Leaf Tornado. Nothing else sounds like something you'd want to learn. Except Grass Whistle."
  230. DNA: So I'm assuming that, in order to tutor a move to someone, you must know that move yourself?
  231. DNA: It hasn't been said but I'm getting that assumption is present.
  232. Narrator: Correct.
  233. DNA: *I'm feeling
  234. Narrator: Smeargle are the best teachers.
  235. Narrator: You can also forget all your moves, once per level.
  236. Narrator: But you forget all of them. Tutored ones included.
  237. Actinidia: "I'll think about it. I get the feeling a lot of these Techniques are built off of other techniques. And if I learn the wrong ones it could actually harm my ability to learn what I want." Actinidia laughed, "Funny, isn't it?"
  238. Alvarex: "I guess! But I think Setszas knows how to forget everything. Though I'm not sure why you'd ever want to do that."
  239. DNA: forget meaning that you just refresh your movelist entirely?
  240. Narrator: Yes.
  241. Actinidia: "Like I said, techniques build off of techniques. I don't think I could have learned Refresh if I didn't know Synthesis. If you spread your techniques too thin, you might not be good at any of the types you're trying to learn. Forgetting techniques is a good way to stop yourself from going down the wrong path."
  242. Alvarex: Alvarex rubs his chin, "Good to know. I just liked the colors. I don't actually use Leaf Tornado for anything."
  243. Alvarex: "Once everything is set up here, mama, I want to travel the world." Alvarex nods, "Breed with every quadreped and biped at least once. That's my dream!"
  244. Alvarex: "Setszas called me a fool, but then, his dream is..." Alvarex pauses, "He should tell you himself."
  245. Grace: (Well... can't say the lil' guy isn't driven.)
  246. Actinidia is disconnected.
  247. Actinidia has connected.
  248. Actinidia: "I'm sure you can, if you put your heart into it. Just remember to be kind and heroic, and respect anyone you lay with even if it is only for pleasure."
  249. Alvarex: "If I wanted pleasure I'd be looking for dragons! I meant breed as in, birthing an army of children!"
  250. Alvarex: "I want to be able to say my children are all, from all walks of life all over the world. I want to spread my genes far and wide, to the ends of the earth until the end of time."
  251. Actinidia: "That's quite the dream. I want to make sure you're strong enough to be safe, but when you feel it is time to leave, I will support you every step of the way." Actinidia gives Alvarex a big hug.
  252. Alvarex: Alvarex hugs Actinidia tightly, "Thanks mama! I promise to make you proud! And have hundreds of grandchildren!"
  253. Actinidia: "And I will rule as the Over-Matriarch! A-hahaha!" Actinidia laughed deeply. "... kidding of course."
  254. Alvarex: "Were you? I mean, I was going to instill a family sect. Kind of like dragons. Listen to your forebearers and all that jazz. But if you think it a terrible idea..."
  255. Avara: go ahead and be the over-matriarch, act
  256. Avara: someone needs to rule the world
  257. Actinidia: "I believe the loyalty runs both ways. Just as the children should obey and respect their parents, the parents must respect and support their children. This isn't antithetical to an over-matriarch idea, but I could never loath a child for simply choosing their own path. If you understand."
  258. Alvarex: Alvarex nods, "Makes sense to me. It shall be so."
  259. Actinidia: "Good. I will be going outside to see if I'm needed. I am going to be staying here until the sun rises at the very least. If I'm heading out on another journey, I'll certainly let you know."
  260. Alvarex: "I promise to have lost my virginity by the time you return. And possibly evolve. I'm getting swole." Alvarex nods, "Ladies like swole."
  261. Alvarex: "Roxy told me so. I have no reason to doubt her."
  262. Narrator: Alright, so, what're peeps doing. That isn't Rob interacting with his socially awkward children?
  263. Actinidia: "Every lady has different tastes. But swole isn't a bad choice."
  264. DNA: I deposited my food so i had nothing left to do!
  265. DNA: also lol roxy
  266. Grace: Well Grace is probably in teh kitchen sorting things out to make things simple to understand where they are. Once that's done she's probably gonna do a loop of the place before heading to the training area.
  267. Avara: i'm busy being distracted by you in another chat, someone talking about persona in yet another chat, and the fact that dinner's coming at some point.
  268. Avara: etna is probably sorting out where to keep building supplies.
  269. Narrator: Well, Setszas will be in the training area. Alone. Since his mother gave him much to think about.
  270. Actinidia is disconnected.
  271. DNA: Mars will probably be meandering randomly. Maybe he'll run into somebody in the process.
  272. Actinidia has connected.
  273. Narrator: Bear in mind its late'o'clock.
  274. Actinidia: Actinidia plans to sleep soon.
  275. Avara: sleep sounds good.
  276. DNA: Sleep is fine! zzzzzz
  277. DNA: I totally forgot it was after 10PM in game.
  278. Narrator: Pfft.
  279. Actinidia: I didn't!
  280. Grace: Oh! Then yeah after a bit of sparing, she'd totally get some sleep in then.
  281. Narrator: As you aren't weak to water and---wait
  282. Avara: ?
  283. Narrator: Okay yeah. Setszas only has 6 resilience.
  284. Narrator: So, he'll most likely lose a spar with you. As you have blaze kick and he only has water as an attack to hit you neutrally.
  285. Ben is disconnected.
  286. Narrator: How long do folks plan to sleep?
  287. Avara: 6 or 8 hours, depending on activity around the building.
  288. Actinidia: Unless disturbed, Actinidia will awake at sunrise. She's sensitive to the sun.
  289. Grace: yeah that's about the same as Grace.
  290. Narrator: Which, in June, is 5:15 AM.
  291. Narrator: I know this for a fact. I leave for work at 5 AM. Hah!
  292. Actinidia: Which begs two questions: What time is it, and would I be penalized for waking up at 5:15?
  293. Narrator: Which'll give you about 6 hours of sleep.
  294. Narrator: It's roughly 11 PM.
  295. Narrator: And you wouldn't be penalized.
  296. Actinidia: Then yes, that's how long actinidia sleeps
  297. Narrator: Alright then. I'll just...
  298. Grace: Grace would do a bit longer but ye.
  299. It is 5:17 AM.
  300. Narrator: The sun begins to rise into the sky, changing the dark purple sky into a deeper blue as the orange sun rises. The cracks of the white house, now clear of any debris thanks to Alvarex, has a clear path of light to your face. It gives a soft ambience into the otherwise dark and gloomy areas of the white house.
  301. Actinidia: Actinidia checks the weather. She watches the clouds and judges whether rain will be soon. Cunning 6+6+5+1=18 (STUNT! 6 Stunt Points)
  302. Actinidia: No stunt
  303. July 27th, Tuesday
  304. 80 degrees. It's hot but feels nice.
  305. Sunny with winds 12 mph going NNE.
  306. Pierce Mars Oswell: The first ray of sun hits Mars's eye, rousing him. AFter yesterday, he slept very well, and is glad to see a new day.
  307. Avara: dinner get!
  308. Actinidia is disconnected.
  309. Actinidia has connected.
  310. * Etna wakes up from another dream of being human, only to wake up and be a dinosaur of the ice age. And once again, she's not sure whether to be sad or awesome about it, and settles for going out to see how everyone's doing instead.
  311. * Etna will, in particular, look for Ura.
  312. Actinidia: Actinidia is praising the sun.
  313. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will wake up and stretch away the aches from the previous day. That is one of the enjoyable perks of being a hearty fighting type. With that, she'll crack a few joints and head her way to the kitchen for a light breakfast before seeing what work she can assist on.
  314. Uraruren: Uraruren can be found outside defending a web-shaped collection of stones from an otherwise offended Alvarex. Setszas is nearby, watching with moderate interest.
  315. Etna: "Hello, Ura, Sets, Alva. What's going on?"
  316. Alvarex: "How could you?! Don't you know how hard it was?!"
  317. Uraruren: "Don't you know that invading a spiders web is to invite death?!"
  318. Actinidia: "I had a wonderful talk with my children and a good nights sleep and it is sunny and beautiful. I think we should invite the Mawile outside in now. I forgot about him."
  319. Setszas: "..."
  320. Grace Leonhardt: Munching on an apple, "Ura, what'cha do to anger the lil' ones?"
  321. Uraruren: "I ain't done nothin'!"
  322. Etna: "..." Etna sighs a bit, and looks at the two. Are the rocks in the way of anything?
  323. Alvarex: "You spread the debris I worked so hard to clean! You're killing the beautify of clean floor!"
  324. Narrator: They're not in the way of anything, per say. But they are noticeable. And rocks. In the shape of a crude web.
  325. Actinidia: "She was making a pattern out of them, it looks like."
  326. Grace Leonhardt: "What are you trying to make Ura? I'm not a web weaver... I think?"
  327. Etna: "Alva, the rocks aren't scattered about like a mess. It's Ura making herself feel more comfortable and at home. The rocks aren't just 'mess' and 'in the way'. What you did, moving them out, was very much appreciated. But them being used for purposes is also a good thing, and Uraruren hasn't gotten in anyone's way with it."
  328. * Pierce Mars Oswell hears the commotion from afar and will gradually make his way over.
  329. Actinidia: "Now Uraruren, as long as you promise that's the only web you're going to make here, we can leave it be, okay?" Actinidia turned to Alvarex, "It's not very big, it's just what she needs to be comfortable to sleep. We can leave this small corner be, can't we?"
  330. Alvarex: Alvarex twitches noticeably, "Oh. Sure. But would I be able to remove the stones if we, say, get real silk? I'm sure I can find a Caterpie or two that wouldn't mind a safe haven."
  331. Uraruren: "My web is better!"
  332. Etna: "I think it would be better if we found some help teaching Ura to make web, rather than forcing her to rely on an outsider for it."
  333. Actinidia: "She's a spider, I think making it herself is important. And she is trying to learn to make silk, she just hasn't yet. I think this is clever improvisation."
  334. Etna: "Ura, do you want to keep the rock web, or do you want to find someone who's good at web things to help you be awesomer than them at web things?"
  335. Setszas: "I am now imagining String Shot but make of rocks. Ow. Just..." Setszas shudders.
  336. Actinidia: "Some kind of crystaline web? Sounds pretty. And painful."
  337. Uraruren: "I'd rather do it on my own! I don't want pity web!"
  338. Actinidia: "Anyway, Alvarex, I believe there is a mawile outside, would you check and invite him inside to meet with us if he wishes?
  339. Setszas: "Alva, just let it be. When she learns how to spit silk we'll then move the rocks."
  340. Etna: "Then we can go out, either today or later, depending on when you feel like it. We'll find someone to help you work it out. That's not pity, that's how we learn things and then get to be better at those things. And then you can practice with that. Does that sound good?"
  341. Grace Leonhardt: "Yeah, that's kinda fair for Ura's side. How many times do you hear about a spider moving into a butterfly's crysalis? Though Someplace else might be better ura."
  342. Alvarex: "Oh? Is that what that creature is? I can, sure."
  343. Alvarex: Alvarex walks out of the white house in search of this Mawile.
  344. Uraruren: Uraruren pauses for a moment and shakes her head, "...I'll..."
  345. Uraruren: "I'll go home. If I'm to learn it from anyone, it should be family. And I have accumulated much that I think they'll accept me."
  346. Actinidia: "Are you sure...?"
  347. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will hesitate considering it takes a moment to register. "Wait, what?"
  348. Etna: "Alright. Would you like us to accompany you back, or do you want to try going back alone? You'll always be welcome back here."
  349. Uraruren: "I don't plan to stay." Uraruren says after considering for a long moment, "There's so much out here away from the family. I'll return." Uraruren nods, almost more to herself than to anyone else.
  350. * Etna lowers her head down next to Ura, giving her a gentle, affectionate boop. "Alright. I'm proud of you for learning so much so quickly, Ura. You've always been attentive when I talk."
  351. Actinidia: Actinidia stepped close to Uraruren, lowering herself. "... Ura? Before we part, I do want to talk with you. You've seen how we fight, how we're trying to find ways to keep everyone alive and to find ways to not fight others. I'm... not sure your family has that in mind. If you learned anything from us, I hope it's that kind of empathy."
  352. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will pause before pausing for a moment. Though she'll try to put on a smile. "Heheh... yeah. You were quite quick on the draw! We owe you a fair bit."
  353. Uraruren: Uraruren sighs, "I...learned much about desire, need and consequences. Things I'm not sure the family knows about. They are things they must know to grow."
  354. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...I'm glad we met you, honestly. It was one of our first steps into this new life. You'll be pretty hard to forget. Or replace. ...hell, I don't think you could be replaced, not with your...tendencies." He chuckles a bit.
  355. Uraruren: "I only did what I thought I had. What I was taught to. And it brought everyone trouble." Uraruren says looking away for a moment, "And I have to grow so I don't do that again. My way of life only brings a cycle of hate. I have to change and I think the family may not understand right away but...I'll make sure they do."
  356. Actinidia: Actinidia smiled brightly, "We're not perfect either, and always learning. But I'm real happy you feel that way. And I hope you can show them everything you've learned. You might one of the oldest ones there when you get back, so make sure to look after everyone younger than you. They'll be looking up to you."
  357. * Etna nods proudly, smiling to Ura. "You've learned well. We all make mistakes. What makes you good is being able to recognize and learn from them."
  358. Etna: "Like I said, you'll always be welcome to come back. And if you ever need any help, let us know."
  359. Uraruren: Uraruren nods and turns to her stone web before patting it gently, "...Make sure this stays until I come back. I'll know I've grown when I can make one here with my own silk. Until then, this'll be a reminder of why I have to work harder."
  360. Actinidia: "I'll make sure Alvarex knows. And if I don't Setszas will."
  361. Uraruren: Uraruren looks up to all of you, her being incredibly tiny in comparison, "I'll go on my own. You all have others to care after. But I promise we'll meet again."
  362. Setszas: Setszas nods.
  363. Etna: "Alright. Stick to where people can't see you, and be careful. We nearly lost you once."
  364. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will simply nod her head, her ears drooping behind her head..
  365. Pierce Mars Oswell: "And I'd REALLY not want to have to repeat that..."
  366. * Pierce Mars Oswell shudders, still internally chiding himself for that.
  367. Uraruren: Uraruren smiles before affectionately bumping her head into Mars leg, "Thanks for caring." Uraruren turns and heads out of the white house.
  368. Actinidia: Actinidia watches as she fades from view. And keeps watching, because she knows the tiny spider will still see her long after she can no longer make out Ura.
  369. Alvarex: Alvarex returns with the Mawile after a few moments. The Mawile is carrying all his wares with him.
  370. Alvarex: (( Getting Emi some ice cream real quick ))
  371. Actinidia: "Hello there." Actinidia greeted, then turned to Setszas, "Setszas, do you know if we have any of the gems this gentleman is interested in on hand?"
  372. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will let out a sigh, and then look back to the web, before catching the snivy appearing. "Oh! Uh, Alva. Please don't bother this webbing alright? Ura's... going to their home for a bit but they might comeback soon."
  373. Etna: "The rock web is a symbol for Ura right now. Of why she needs to get better, both in techniques and as a person. We'll clear it up when she's ready for it to be gone."
  374. Actinidia: Actinidia nodded in agreement with her allies.
  375. Alvarex: Alvarex paused for a moment and rubbed his face, "Yeah, alright. I won't mess with it."
  376. Actinidia: "Thank you dear.
  377. Setszas: "I didn't see any gems here that he had. He stated that currency of old likely became these gems. Which would explain their absence here."
  378. Mega Mawile 1: "Ahhh. Good to see you spoke truth. I worried a slight when I didn't see you."
  379. Actinidia: "I had a lot to catch up on when I returned, I appologize for not getting back to you right away."
  380. Grace Leonhardt: "Sorry about that. We've... kinda had a long trip before we came to you."
  381. Mega Mawile 1: "No apologies necessary. To have so much in your charge is a lofty undertaking. I appreciate you taking the time to see me."
  382. Actinidia: "Now what was it that you wanted to discuss?"
  383. Mega Mawile 1: "I wanted to discuss stay and growth." Mega Mawile 1 nods, "I run a personal trade business and I'd like a single place to do so rather than remain mobile."
  384. Actinidia: "And you'd like to set up in this location?"
  385. Mega Mawile 1: "Problem with that comes with establishing, and defending, such a place. I have no desire to do that. I want to focus my energy on acquisition of goods and trade."
  386. Avara: hello, recette. yes, we'd love to let you exploit adventurers on our behalf.
  387. Avara: capitalism, ho!
  388. Mega Mawile 1: "So, you have the location and the defense. I'd like to be the one that barters. I understand such a thing shouldn't come free so, I'd offer those that live in the establishment a discount on goods."
  389. Grace Leonhardt: "... Setting up a trade post might actually be benefical. Though if you do there'd probably be something you'd have to do to pay for staying. Nothing crazy mind you! The Discount would probably be a grand start."
  390. Etna: "Fine details will have to be something we work out as we go. We're not really businessfolk from the past life, so we won't think of everything on the spot. But I think we can work something out that'll leave both parties happy."
  391. Actinidia: "And a trade establishment will draw attention to this area, which is helpful to us." Actinidia tapped her chin, "This idea has merit. I had my own ideas of creating establishments, such as a pokemon center. Do you, by chance, know how to speak human?"
  392. Mega Mawile 1: "Well, I won't agree to anything that'll leave me screwed over - so to speak. The discount is probably the best I can offer. Though, I could probably tell one of my children to keep an eye out on things that you all desire. This'll increase the chance it'll appear in my stock and I'd even put it aside for you so it won't be grabbed up by someone else right away."
  393. * Etna nods.
  394. Mega Mawile 1: "I've never tried to speak human. My whole family was turned into Pokémon so there hasn't been any need."
  395. Etna: "There'll probably be humans that want to buy things, as time goes on. I can tutor you in speaking to humans."
  396. Etna: "It'll also keep you safer if, say, a human kid with a pokemon cooperating with them comes around and isn't exactly friendly."
  397. Actinidia: "A danger to us now is humans. I've seen human children attempting to re-inact the series, training pokemon for battle. Killing others in the name of... training or whatever. They're very young, very impressionable. And I want to create establishments that can cater to
  398. Actinidia: human children, to use their misunderstandings to our advantage. If we create "shops" or "pokemon centers" or other neutral areas, it might be enough to get them to lower their guard. And being able to speak with them is very important, if we want to do this."
  399. Etna: "Basically, hijacking the illusion and using it to our advantage."
  400. Mega Mawile 1: "That'll mean you want lots of medicine." Mega Mawile 1 nods, "And I'd love to learn human. I'm to run a business after all."
  401. Actinidia: "Exactly."
  402. Etna: "Then it sounds like we'll be helping each other out quite a bit. My name's Etna. Nice to meet you."
  403. Grace Leonhardt: "My name would be Grace... and I gotta ask. It's kinda bugging me, how are you a Mega Mawile? I thought the changes lasted short whiles? Do you have a mega stone? And like... what's it like changing?"
  404. Actinidia: "Oh, I have two questions. First of all, I haven't caught your name yet. Second, we overheard a radio station while traveling. A pokemon was on the air, continuing to DJ like he did as a human. I was wondering if you've heard of this man."
  405. Slen: "Etna." Slen nods, "So, direct me to where I would be setting up."
  406. Slen: "Well, I'm Slen. I thought I mentioned this last night. Sorry if I didn't."
  407. Slen: "I didn't keep up with radios, honestly. I"ll be sure to ask my children."
  408. Actinidia: "Maybe you did, the sun was down and I find that much more troubling than it used to be." Actinidia waved her leaves.
  409. Slen: Slen rubs his chin, "It's...I'm not sure. Like evolving I guess? And I can revert to normal if I want to but I'm stronger in this form. It just makes sense to stay this way."
  410. Actinidia: "If someone has mass communication, that is someone I want to be friends with."
  411. Slen: Slen pats his belongings on his back, "I'm carrying a big load after all."
  412. * Etna will consult the MAP! and find a place for Slen to set up that's guarded, for Slen's security, and near the entrance for business purposes.
  413. Etna: "We'll probably need to build a shop for you. Lucky you, we just got our rubble arranged and got some building supplies."
  414. Slen: "My wife is a Smeargle and our children mostly Mawile. If you see them return here looking for me, and they know me by name, direct them to me if you would."
  415. Slen: "Oh! Fantastic. Stone structures are quite sturdy."
  416. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Looks like I know what I'm doing today - hauling building material!"
  417. Actinidia: "Though, if we are donating materials for your shop, might I request you donate some food for our storage? A trade of supplies for supplies, no high ticket items. We'll pay for those once we can afford them."
  418. Actinidia: Com: Persuasion 3+3+1+6=13 (STUNT! 3 Stunt Points)
  419. Actinidia: And Another Thing "Food is important for us now, because this used to be a hunting community. And the longer we have to build up an alternative sustainable source of food, the better."
  420. Slen: Slen rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "May I suggest rations? I got a supply of those from an army base."
  421. Actinidia: "Any food will do, I'm not hoping for luxuries, only to buy time."
  422. * Etna nods.
  423. Slen: Slen nods, "Building my shop and using your supplies sounds fair. I don't know how big your community is but I can spare 60 rations."
  424. Actinidia: "We'll take it."
  425. Etna: "Yeah, that sounds like a good deal."
  426. Actinidia: "We are less than forty, at least two days ago."
  427. Actinidia: "Wait, no, Forty Four."
  428. Actinidia: "I had a survey done."
  429. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... one down and a second one was thinking of leaving soon to uh... meet dragons."
  430. Actinidia: ((was Grace there for that?))
  431. Grace Leonhardt: (DO'H RETCON RETCON)
  432. Slen: "So, sixty sounds good then. It'll give you a buffer if nothing else."
  433. Actinidia: "Indeed. And will serve well for expeditions. Most of our food stores are not of the traveling variety."
  434. Narrator: Alright, it be midnight for me.
  435. Avara: rest time sounds good.
  436. Narrator: Should probably end the session. Would anyone like to start the next session set to do something in particular? Or perhaps like to set your mooks to do anything in particular while you're away?
  437. DNA: I didn't even know I had mooks to set!
  438. Narrator: I realize this might not be easy to do. As you guys weren't set to do anything particular to begin with.
  439. Avara: we need to check our food supplies first.
  440. Avara: with the 60 rations, how many days of food do we have?
  441. Actinidia: I don't think I plan to go anywhere immediately. I'm going to probably try to do this tutoring thing, either teaching how to heal or learning any moves I was interested in from others that might have them.
  442. Actinidia: Actinidia has 30 days of rations, personally.
  443. Grace Leonhardt: Grace might try to get to work on setting up an 'arena' kinda thing considering we're trying to go for the gym angle. That and she's fighting type so something in the back of her head wants to set upa dojo... then again dojos are kinda sick.
  444. Avara: how many days have we been doing this?
  445. Narrator: You were gone for a day.
  446. Narrator: And then slept until the next day.
  447. Narrator: They were set to eat things like fruits and vegetables first and with the 60 rations added and food from the snack machines...
  448. Narrator: They'd have a little over 5 days of food.
  449. Actinidia: So we might have to make a dedicated food run soon.
  450. Avara: ok
  451. Narrator: Anyways, you guys can let me know what's what throughout the week.
  452. Narrator: XP Gained: 350.
  453. Narrator: Saving campaign and log~
  454. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt gains 350 experience points.
  455. Narrator is disconnected.
  456. You have disconnected.
