  1. One in The Same
  2. ---------------
  3. Jeremy Hucklow - 2016
  4.
  5.
  6. I walked through the desolate town
  7. I had seen a girl in an alley covered in blood
  8. She had a saddening frown
  9. She had a distorted upper face
  10. Who made her looks an awful disgrace?
  11. "What is wrong, my dear?"
  12. "I have walked through this desolate town and have seen no pity"
  13. "Then move to a thriving city."
  14. She picked up her doll, covered in blood and went on her way
  15. She had an awful long walk ahead; no buses or taxis for to have a fare to pay
  16. I followed her down each street
  17. My God, there was so much meat
  18. I was in an utterly shocked fright
  19. No more, no less, it should be sanctified for being such a mess
  20. "Little girl, what is your name?"
  21. "Only those of minds with confusion will know me"
  22. We walked further
  23. To the edge of town did we hither
  24. There was sun in the town but complete darkness on the edge
  25. "Why is this?" I so dared asked her
  26. "The town is confused."
  27. I myself was lost in confusion
  28. "Then child, what is that darkness?"
  29. For the longest time she had paused
  30. Could this be what she caused?
  31. "Dear child, is this what you did?"
  32. For Christ fucking sakes; she's just a child
  33. She looked up at me and smiled
  34. "No, we both caused this. We are one in the same"
  35. "How could that be?"
  36. She walked through the darkness and made it glow
  37. So, I had to follow
  38. I heard many persisting screams and cries
  39. And all these visions of my lies
  40. "Where are we now, young one?"
  41. "Your life"
  42. Who could she possibly be?
  43. She ran up ahead in a hurrying flee
  44. To a house with a sound of a loud buzzing bee; my house
  45. The noise was very irritating
  46. I walked through the door
  47. In a drunken stupor
  48. I walked straight ahead to the kitchen
  49. And saw the girl and a woman
  50. Both hung from the ceiling fan; spinning slowly
  51. Recognizable; ostensible
  52. They both turned to me
  53. "WE'RE ONE IN THE SAME!!! WE ARE WHO YOU ALWAYS BLAME!!!"
