- 14.Hydros are not unlike ants, but their brood lord chooses whether or not it wants its subjects to be self-aware or not when it is born. They fear Butchers, and have been unable to rid that instinct from any brood from anywhere.

- 16.Hydros have an organ system not unlike a human, but their skeletal system has many unneeded calcium deposits. It could be assumed that it is stockpiled for future evolutions. Their exoskeleton/carapace ranges widely for each hydro, but usually is around 3 inches thick.

- 18.The Carapace serves as a way to cheat photosynthesis in the Upernavik brood. It has the ability to conduct photosynthesis, and the hydro's real skin absorbs nutrients gained from the carapace. It can resist up to .700
- Hydros are snakelike organisms that have an elongated head and stand from 4 to 12 feet tall. Their eyes glow and have a different color to show what brood they belong to. Grey indicates feral. They have pincers that are designed to break bones or amputate.
