  152. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  153.
  154. This joke project's story is really weird and complex, so I'll do my best at
  155. explaining it.
  156.
  157. All the elements in this project was planned in a chat with tSR people I
  158. frequent, and they were all originated because of random jokes that... were
  159. taken seriously by me.
  160.
  161. First of all, I need to explain the 'genderbent' version of Gilbert. I designed
  162. her after people saying that I 'wasn't anime enough to watch anime' with them.
  163. I promptly responded with a sketch of gilbert with twintails, which caused some
  164. hilarious reaction and ended up becoming a running gag of the chat.
  165.
  166. The genderbent Gilbert didn't have a fixed name, so people referred her as
  167. 'Girls', 'Girlsal', 'Girlbert' and other stuff. I thought that those names were
  168. dumb, so I settled up with 'Arisa' as her name. (Being an anime girl version
  169. of Gilbert, nothing more appropriate than naming her after a series of Japanese
  170. rifles and ammo cartridges, Arisaka). I also placed her definitely in the
  171. Bullethead cast as Gilbert's manga-loving, 'tsundere' sister.
  172.
  173. This new name spawned some Touhou jokes (Arisa being just one letter far from
  174. Marisa). Sploder even went as far as drawing her and the whole chat's reference
  175. characters with Touhou clothes. This served as the base to make Super Arisa Land,
  176. a parody of the Touhou fangame Super Marisa Land.
  177.
  178. At the same time, Sengir has told us a very... peculiar dream I'll spare you the
  179. details from, and that caused more jokes to surface. Then, we noticed that
  180. Sengir wasn't 'moe' enough for the chat, so with the members' help, I created
  181. Sengi~, the girl version of Sengirbug. Naturally, she got paired with Arisa and
  182. eventually, this joke project was born.
  183.
  184. Super Arisa World is a parody game, referencing not only Mario, but several other
  185. classic games and TSR jokes. Playing as a familiar platformer game, but with
  186. several quirks and gameplay differences, in order to make this a new, fresh
  187. experience, Super Arisa World aims to entertain the gamers with colorful, fun
  188. graphics with cute cartoony characters and happy music.
  189.
  190. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  191. | 2- Story |
  192. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  193.
  194. Everyone lived in peace in TSROPOLIS. But for this game to happen, something
  195. bad was needed. So, Vipershark started kidnapping all girls from the city.
  196.
  197. For an even unexpainable reason, Crappy Blue Luigi is the only one who knows
  198. about this tragedy, and promptly asks Gors and Sengir, the local heroes,
  199. for help.
  200.
  201. Sadly, a game starring both Gors and Sengir would be so radular and the world
  202. wouldn't be ready for such awesomeness. So they had to come up with lousy
  203. excuses such as "I'm studying Mandarin" and "I'm too busy spriting". Crappy Blue
  204. Luigi then shrugs, and wonders who could bring back peace in the spriter's land.
  205.
  206. "Crap... Who is going to save tSR now..."
  207.
  208. He then hears some happy chatter. It was Arisa and Sengi~, taking a walk without
  209. knowing they were in danger.
  210.
  211. "Arisa! Help us! Vipershark has kidnapped all the imoutos in tSR! Please save
  212. them from being transformed into dakimakuras..." - Crappy Blue Luigi
  213.
  214. I have no idea why he didn't mention Sengi~ in that line, but nevertheless,
  215. both girls decided to kick Vipershark's butt and save the captive girls from
  216. his clutches...
  217.
  218. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  219. | 3- Setting |
  220. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  221.
  222. The game is set in the fictional city of TSROPOLIS, ruled by Dazz, the Mayor.
  223. Many people from different countries live there, developing the city further.
  224.
  225. The city has a Maid Café run by Kagguya. However, it's in the verge of
  226. closing due to lack of customers, which worries her a lot.
  227.
  228. The city is surrounded by green plains and icy mountains, and an imponent,
  229. floating castle serves as Vipershark's hideout. There, he plots on transforming
  230. all the girls into body pillows.
  231.
  232. It's said that a Legendary Hero used to protect the city, but she has not
  233. been active since Vipershark's attacks... Where would she be?
  234.
  235. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  236. | 4- Cast |
  237. +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  238.
  239. The cast is varied and represents the forum users. Some of the characters in
  240. this game are:
  241.
  242. > ARISA BULLETHEAD
  243.
  244. A shy and introverted, green bullet girl. Despite that, she is Sengi~'s best
  245. friend. She decides to save TSROPOLIS from Vipershark's clutches, after Crappy
  246. Blue Luigi told her and Sengi~ about the crisis. She loves manga and will do
  247. anything to get ahold of them, and because of that she can act really rude at
  248. times. However, she really cares about her friends.
  249.
  250. > SENGI~ BUG
  251.
  252. A happy and cheerful female pink beetle with bright blue hair, with a sidetail
  253. tied with a white bow. She loves spending time with her friend, Arisa, and
  254. likes listening to poppy, cute music and eating sweets. Due to her air-headed
  255. nature, she is prone to accidents and forgetting important stuff, a trait that
  256. makes her get bad grades at the school. Nonetheless, she tries hard to keep up
  257. with the school pace and be friends with everyone.
  258.
  259. > GILBERT BULLETHEAD
  260.
  261. Arisa's brother, a green bullet that wears a brown leather jacket. Usually
  262. nonchalant, but does his job of taking care of TSROPOLIS at the town hall
  263. quite well. Manages events and destroys ad-bots in his free time. Hopes to do
  264. more for the community, but he is always balancing responsibilities with tired-
  265. ness.
  266.
  267. > SENGIR 'CHUCK' BUG
  268.
  269. Sengi~'s brother. Also takes care of the city, but would rather spend time
  270. studying anthropology and programming small apps. Doesn't talk much, but when
  271. he does, it usually is to crack a pun into the conversation. Enjoys listening
  272. to Bob Dylan.
  273.
  274. > CRAPPY BLUE LUIGI
  275.
  276. The man in blue. Gilbert's musical bro, gifted with smooth moves and even
  277. smoother talk. He left the city some time ago, but returned only to see the
  278. city having many cases of kidnapping. He soon seeks for help.
  279.
  280. > SERENNA KAGGUYA MUTSUKKI
  281.
  282. A pretty, shy and clumsy maid that runs a Maid Café in the town. She loves her
  283. little brother and does everything to him. Due to her clumsiness, she often gets
  284. into trouble... Her speciality is making sweets.
  285.
  286. > VIPERSHARK
  287.
  288. The antagonist of this game. A sick fiend who enjoys trapping pretty girls
  289. for his amusement. He intends to transform them all into dakimakuras for his
  290. evergrowing collection. A huge otaku, it is said that half of the rooms in his
  291. enormous castle is to store and organize his anime-related merchandise.
  292.
  293. > BELLE LEBEL
  294.
  295. A yellow bullet girl with a strong sense of justice. Hailing from The Schools
  296. Resource's rival school, Royal Arsenal High, she intends to save the city by
  297. herself so she can get all the praise. Often overlooked and mistaken by others
  298. as Arisa, she wants to show everyone that she is capable of doing great things.
  299. Highly athletic, her moves are alluring and precise, making her a formidable
  300. rival for Arisa.
  301.
  302. > MISA RILLE
  303.
  304. A German missile girl with white skin and blonde hair in twin braids. Also
  305. studies in Royal Arsenal High, and is Belle's classmate and friend. Misa is
  306. gentle and sweet... Until someone ticks her off. If she gets annoyed or doesn't
  307. get what she wants, she gets extremely rude and literally explodes in anger,
  308. burning anything around her. Thus, she is kinda spoiled and stubborn.
  309.
