  17.  Write sentences that are varied, clear, and reasonably well punctuated.
  18.  Show a command of language and word choice that supports meaning.
  19. Mechanics: Students entering WRIT 121 should be able to:
  20.  Write sentences that reflect adequate (or better) mastery of grammar and spelling.
