[21:27]<EchoesOfDeath>	Everything is calm back at the book store. Sugar Drop slept again while you played a boardgame. The moans from the street seemed to have dwindled.
[21:29]<EchoesOfDeath>	Until the sound of metal being stuck sounds through the whole street. Once, and again, and again
[21:33]?	Swift_Hurdle sweats as he rests his head on the table, staring at his soul remaining unit, bashed beaten and bruised on the corner of the board where it had been chased. "No! all my plans and stratagies!"
[21:40]<EchoesOfDeath>	In a bloodstained room of the pharmacy, two infected squirm against their bindings. An exausted green mare turns back to a vial on the table
[21:41]?	Star_Spotter moves back and looks to her. "What happened to them?"
[21:41]?	Backlash stares silently into the room with the occasional worried glance to Cambiance.
[21:42]?	Cambiance pales and stares back at Backlash.  "Oh my..."
[21:42]<EchoesOfDeath>	"The filly was bit, then she bit my son..." She says, turning on a bunsen burner and picking a tube full of green sap.
[21:44]<EchoesOfDeath>	The noises continues outside, it seems like something striking a metal door.
[21:44]<Backlash>	"Are you a pharmacist?" she asks the mare. "An' what's your name?"
[21:45]?	Star_Spotter sighs and looks to them. "You... what have you learned about it."
[21:46]?	Swift_Hurdle sighs and drops his cards, "Ruins... its all in ruines....wait, whats that sound?", Swift tilts his head and lifts an ear, glancing back towards the door.
[21:46]<Shady_Steps>	Genevieve looks at her small empire forced back to her own side of the board before she looks up "yeah what is that?"
[21:48]?	Swift_Hurdle lifts his head, "sounds... like trouble"
[21:52]<EchoesOfDeath>	"Golden Leaf." She opens a vial and pours on the tube. "Not much. It's different from everything I seen. Makes them dead cold. Congeals and taints their blood, makes them ravenous and resilient, they can endure things healthy ponies can't. It's a miracle they can still stand."
[21:55]?	Star_Spotter nods as she looks to her. "So what progress do you have on a cure?"
[21:57]<EchoesOfDeath>	Golden Leaf sighs. "Not a cursed thing yet. It doesn't act like any sickness I've seen."
[21:58]<Cambiance>	"Do... do you know where it came from?  Or how this all started?"
[22:00]?	Star_Spotter shakes her head. "Maybe it's not a normal sickness. What if it's a curse or a magic spell?"
[22:00]<EchoesOfDeath>	Cambiance spots a blood stained mop on one corner of the lab. The floor leading to a backdoor is wet and there are blood specks on the wall close to it.
[22:02]?	Cambiance trots over in the direction of the door.  "Where's all this blood from?"
[22:05]<EchoesOfDeath>	"Whatever it is, the cure is not simple." She glances at the two. "They were out on a date. The police sounded an alarm that day." She glaces briefly at Cambiance but ignores her. "When I found them, the... filly looked like death. She was bit by a madpony in hospital gown... if I only knew."
[22:06]?	Star_Spotter nods as she looks to her. "Well listen to me Golden. You just said it yourself, this cure won't be simple. You are not well suited to stay here, especially with these infected ponies inside your home. Even if one used to be your son. You need to bring your research and plants to out safehouse, so you can get food and there will be many books that might help you."
[22:07]<EchoesOfDeath>	Through the window, Genevieve spots a bearded earth pony trying to kick in the door to a nearby supermarket. She can also spot wanderers moving their way from back streets.
[22:08]<EchoesOfDeath>	The door is closed, but Cambiance can see still that the puddle is faintly red.
[22:08]?	Backlash steps up, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, we can get you a place ta stay."
[22:08]?	Cambiance looks closely at the blood, trying to determine if it is the blood of an infected pony or not.
[22:09]<EchoesOfDeath>	The specks are still red, as a normal pony's blood
[22:10]<EchoesOfDeath>	Swift also sees the pony bashing the rolling door.
[22:10]?	Cambiance looks up.  "Um, Miss Leaf?  This doesn't look like infected blood over here.  Is somepony injured?"
[22:11]?	Swift_Hurdle pushes away from the table and rushes to the window, "oh, oh shoot, that looks bad, right? if they are trying to get in dose that mean there is somepony in there?"
[22:14]<EchoesOfDeath>	 The door bends in, but not enough for the pony to enter
[22:14]?	Shady_Steps shrugs "he looks fine, well for now, soon he will be red paste"
[22:16]?	Swift_Hurdle looks to Genevieve, "Well then what should we do?"
[22:18]<EchoesOfDeath>	Golden Leaf hesitates,  but nods. "...fine. Just let me carry my son." Cambiance can tell she is deliberately ignoring her.
[22:18]?	Shady_Steps shrugs "does it effect us?"
[22:19]?	Star_Spotter looks to her. "Is that wise? what if he bites you?"
[22:19]?	Cambiance stands up straighter.  "Miss Leaf, why is there so much blood here?  It's not infected pony blood.  I know, I've seen enough of it.  Is there somepony else here?  Please answer me."
[22:21]<EchoesOfDeath>	"I cut my leg." Golden Leaf says.
[22:23]?	Swift_Hurdle looks to the griffin, "Well ya, I mean right? It should I mean were here arnt we?"
[22:23]?	Shady_Steps rolls her eyes "what can we do? if we go out there will be more attention, however If we keep quiet they might just eat him and go away"
[22:24]<Backlash>	"Cut your leg? Miss Leaf... if you're hurt, we gotta make sure it ain't infected."
[22:25]<EchoesOfDeath>	"I took care of it already." She frowns. "Look, I'll just gag him and we can get going."
[22:25]?	Cambiance looks at Golden Leaf.  "There's too much blood for that.  You wouldn't be up if you lost that much.  And the angle's all wrong.  There's no way a cut on your leg could cause that."
[22:26]?	Swift_Hurdle blinks, "Well then we definately have to go out there if they are going to eat somepony!"
[22:26]?	Star_Spotter looks to the zombie male pony and to Golden Leaf, trying to look for herditary similarities
[22:27]?	Shady_Steps facehooves "Nah, I mean, THAT pony getting eaten?! not gunna happen, just look at his... face?" she sighs "whats the plan?"
[22:29]<EchoesOfDeath>	The earth pony bashes enough of the door to create an entrance, only for a wanderer to lunge at him from the inside.
[22:29]?	Swift_Hurdle eyes go big, "No time for plans!", he starts imediately looking for a way out to the streets
[22:31]<EchoesOfDeath>	The infected colt resembles her, having a darker green and a brown mane.
[22:32]?	Shady_Steps half heatedly looks for something to bash Swift_Hurdle over the head with before following with a huff
[22:33]<EchoesOfDeath>	Golden Leaf cringes. "Filly, it's not important. Can we just go?" She says, putting some lab equipment on her bag
[22:33]<EchoesOfDeath>	The known exits are just the front door and the sewers
[22:33]?	Star_Spotter sighs. "Listen, I don't know you. I don't know what you're willing to do to try and get your son healed." She says staring into Golden Leaf's eyes. "But you have to be honest with us, or we're not going to be sharing any of our supplies. So where is that blood coming from."
[22:34]?	Cambiance gulps.  "Thank you Miss Star," she whispers.
[22:34]?	Swift_Hurdle blots for the door as fast as he can.
[22:35]?	Shady_Steps keep pace behind Swift_Hurdle "If we open that the ponies in here will be in danger, three to one, your choice"
[22:41]<EchoesOfDeath>	She picks a gardening trowel. "Somepony that tried to kill my son. He is dead." She stares back at Star_Spotter, holding the trowel pointedly. "I don't want to hurt you. I just want my son back."
[22:41]?	Swift_Hurdle keeps runing, "But if we dont do something hes dead!"
[22:42]<EchoesOfDeath>	Swift_Hurdle arrives at the main door.
[22:43]?	Shady_Steps rubs the back of her neck "yeah but do you want one death on your head, or three?" she sighs "look you are not going to save everyone, trying will only get you killed"
[22:43]?	Swift_Hurdle slides to a stop, "Ya but... But hes RIGHT THERE!"
[22:43]?	Swift_Hurdle yells loudly
[22:43]?	Star_Spotter shakes her head lightly. "Golden Leaf, you have to understand, your son is gone. Even if you could somehow reverse the effect, if you know anything about medicine, his brain is gone, there is nothing remaining of your son in there." She says looking deeply into her eyes. "We can help you, but you need to help yourself and give your son a burial he deserves." She says.
[22:47]?	Shady_Steps shakes her head "Did he ask for help? you might put him in danger if you go out there, and keep your voice down" she keeps stalling
[22:50]?	Swift_Hurdle stomps his hoof, "But its not right, I mean... what if it was you out there, hell it was you out there earlier this morning when I was running down the street".
[22:52]?	Shady_Steps cocks her head "If you want to help him you need a plan, if you run out there without one you will die, and you will kill him in your misguided attempt at saving him, now how can you help him?"
[22:52]<EchoesOfDeath>	Golden Leaf shakes and her eyes tear up. "No! He's going to be fine. He's going to be fine." She grits her teeth. "You are not going to hurt him!" She throws a vial at Star_Spotter
[22:53]?	Swift_Hurdle looks between her and the door, " But... ok fine, but I need to see whats going on again". He zooms to a window.
[22:54]?	Shady_Steps goes to the door and keeps the bookshelf agenst it while she opens it enough to see out of
[22:56]<EchoesOfDeath>	The bearded pony stands by a wanderer with a smashed skull, but a small mob surrounds him. He turns into bent door of the supermarket and gallops in.
[22:58]<Swift_Hurdle>	"Hes in trouble for sure!"
[22:58]?	Shady_Steps waves Swift over "look he is in the Supermarket, there are a ton of ways in and out, he might be fine, besides you saw him smash that skull? he knows what he is doing"
[22:58]<EchoesOfDeath>	Vines sprout from the vial and ensnare both Star_Spotter and Cambiance. "You are not going to hurt my son! Nopony will!" She glares at Backlash.
[22:59]?	Cambiance struggles in the vines.  "We aren't trying to hurt you or your son Golden Leaf!"
[23:01]?	Star_Spotter looks to her and speaks. "Listen, no one wants to hurt your son, your son is gone Golden Leaf." She says loudly. "You need to wake up. I know the loss must be eating away at you, but look at what is left of your son! Look at it and tell me that is the same boy who raised you. What's left there is no better than a changeling disguised as him!"
[23:01]?	Backlash has a moment of internal struggle before running over to the other two to try and disentangle them.
[23:02]?	Cambiance tries to unsheathe her machete.
[23:09]<EchoesOfDeath>	"Shut up. Shut up! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!!!" She charges at Star_Spotter with her trowel.
[23:11]?	Backlash tries to block her from reaching Star_Spotter.
[23:12]?	Cambiance yanks her machete free, and tries to block Golden Leaf.
[23:21]?	Star_Spotter sighs and talks. "Listen to me Golden, this isn't anyones fault. It's not min, it's not yours, it's not the fault of anyone here. It's just how the dice rolled." She says sadly
[23:23]<EchoesOfDeath>	The trowel strikes Star_Spotter's chest, not piercing, but still leaving a painful bruise.
[23:36]<EchoesOfDeath>	She cries openly. "No! I can help him! There must be something! You aren't taking him from me!" She tries to bash Star_Spotter with her hooves. "I. Must. Save. Him!"
[23:37]?	Star_Spotter grunts. "I can't take what you don't have Golden!" She says to her. "You need to realize that the world is changing, and we can't stay with our old ways for much longer."
[23:43]<EchoesOfDeath>	Golden Leaf drops the trowel and collapses, covering her head and crying.
[23:44]?	Backlash casts an accusatory glance at Star_Spotter then crouches down beside Golden Leaf, unsure of what to do with her.
[23:45]?	Cambiance pants heavily, still trapped in the vines.  "Oh... oh my goddesses."
