- People:
- Elia - Your elder brother. 50 years old. He is known as weak-spear due to being a hopeless hunter, but he's quiet and observant. He also has a talent for art
- Galit - Elia's wife. 39 years old. One of the prettiest women in the clan. She is infertile and demanding of her husband
- Paku - Your other brother. You don't speak much any more, but he's a good hunter who is a strong supporter of Mesut. He was adopted into Mesut's family, but still holds ties to your own
- Mesut - The most talented hunter in the clan. Respected by the entire clan for his strength and wisdom. Possibly ambitious, he heads one of the most powerful families in the village, trades regularly for wealth and controls the clan's grain supply, making sure no-one hoards more than their share. Has two sons and three daughters from three wives
- Myslik - Chief of the strangers. An absolute mountain of a man, with a strength to match! He's a friend of yours, but you haven't met him in years. Now deceased from unknown causes.
- Saraf - Leader of the 'ring' that rules the herders. Worshiper of Maar, the bull god. Very cagey and canny. Never gives anything away for free
- Gods:
- Lugal, the Stag Wild God - One of the proudest of the wild gods, Lugal is the god of deer and the beasts of the forest and glassland and considers himself the chief of the Wild Gods, a position no-one else is inclined to argue with.
- Ulh, the Hawk Wild God - Second only to Lugal in regal bearing, Ulh is the god of all birds save crows. His is perhaps the most tenuous rule of the Wild Gods, but his ferocious and swift aspect helps silence his enemies.
- Soqed, the Wolf Wild God - God of the pack, Soqed was the first god Trym encountered and the only one to have been slain by mortal hands. He recovered and still rules over wolves and their ilk. His position on dogs is uncertain. His human form is a shaggy-haired, powerful and lean man with hungry features
- Ursa, the Bear Wild God - The god of bears is supposedly the most human of the wild gods, but he is also grumpy, powerful and lazy. His domain is limited, but no-one messes with a bear.
- Emush, the Snake Wild Goddess - The goddess of snakes, lizards and other cold-blooded creatures. She is watchful, always seems to have something she is laughing at internally. She's somewhat inscrutable, but at least polite.
- Awak, the Crow Wild God - Asshole. He's nothing but an asshole who's rude and insulting to everyone from scavengers to gods. He refuses Ulh's rule and struts about eating carrion and doing as he pleases. He told you once he will never lie and then in the next breath said he will never tell the truth.
- Maar, the Bull Wild God - Not much is known about this god. The Herders worship him, so apparently he commands goats as well as aurochs.
- Isu, the valley Wild Goddess - The living spirit of the valley you live in and everything that grows in it. She is more alien than the animal gods, but seems fairly benevolent at least.
- Enki, the mountain Wild God - Even more alien than Isu, Enki is slow-moving and steadfast, but inevitable and unstoppable. He embodies the mountains that surround the valley.
- Nila, the river Wild Goddess - A favourite goddess of your clan, Nila controls the river that runs through the valley and everything that swims in it. She is generally friendly with humans and even gave you a daughter, but fears falling in love and losing you to age. Her human form is a beautiful woman with pale hair and amber eyes.
- Tengr, the Wild God of the Sky - Proud and mighty, Tengr was named in a far-off land by an unknown people, implying his domain stretches very far indeed.
- Rhea, Heavenly Goddess of Mercy - Rhea is a goddess of the Sacred Heavens, embodying the values of mercy and healing. She takes the form of a mildly androgynous, female figure with wings.
