3. Hello again, this is your Shotgun broadcast associate Michael Cole, here with an addendum to last week's feature. I've talked about the armies that battle over power in the WWF, but this week, I'm shining a spotlight on our unaffiliated talent, the ronin who have not yet found a banner to fight under.

 6. First up, our current WWF World Champion, Mick Foley. A man against the world, he has racked up an impressive number of title defenses in just 3 months, with recorded victories against Goldust, the Undertaker, the Heartbreak Kid, Kane, Brian Pillman, and Bob Backlund, among others, all without the help of any stablemates. Time will tell if he will choose a side, or remain a lone wanderer.

 9. The Undertaker's solitary nature may well prove his downfall at the Survivor Series, as the Ministry have pointed out. If he had not severed his ties with the Godfather and Dave Taylor(who are not on either of these lists as they are a tag team, but not a faction), perhaps he would not be standing on his own against Paul Bearer's pernicious ne'er-do-wells.

 12. Mark Henry has been an island after turning his back on Stan Hansen and beginning his Hall Of Pain, and as his winning record may suggest, that has not been working in his favor. Perhaps joining a faction is what the World's Strongest Man needs to break his slump, supplementing his physical strength with more agile companions.

 15. I understand that Goldust's inclusion may be of some dispute given his current involvement with the Trailblazers. However, comments provided by an anonymous Trailblazer prove otherwise, that this is simply a temporary partnership based on Taz and Goldust's shared dislike of Ted DiBiase:

 17. Yeah, I ain't happy about Goldust getting all buddy-buddy with us after what he did as champ. I mean, come the fuck on, can Taz really look at that man, think of every dirty trick he pulled, every nasty little cheat he got away with, and think that a fuckin' Alabama hick like that has what it takes to fight alongside the Trailblazers? Hell fuckin' no! As soon as Survivor Series is over with, he's gone, if I have to kill that little fuckin' Oompa-Loompa to make it happen.
20. Ken Shamrock and Skunkrocker may be among the clientele of Jimmy Hart, and Skunkrocker may be in WCW, or the Wrestling Champions of the World, but as Jimmy Hart has personally told me that he does not consider his clients to be a unified group, and Tom "Sanguinia" Prichard has been out injured for over a month now after a tag title match immediately after their formation left him with a broken jaw, it's safe to say both of these men are truly alone, and both men would be a great acquisition for any faction looking to improve its roster. (This is simply a backstage rumor, but Shigeki Sato has been seen making long-distance phone calls backstage. My sources have only been able to decipher one word, or possibly a phrase: "kai-en-tai". More details will be reported as they surface.)

 22. And there you have it. The lowdown... on the throwdown.
