Design: Kamiko has an extremely tiny frame due to her poor health, causing her growth to be stunted at an early age. She has long, black-brown hair pulled into a high ponytail. She has jade-green eyes that compliment the jade beads that she wears in her hair and around her neck. She wears a pink skirt, a black-and-white polka dotted shirt, black patterned tights, beige boots, and an oversized beige coat.

Personality: A frail, sickly girl with very high hopes. She has a hyper personality, difficult to calm down when she gets excited. However, she is precise and calculated, especially when it comes to folding cranes or any kind o f arts and crafts. Her favorite food is chicken yakisoba, a meal that she tried during a rare trip away from the hospital.

History: Practically raised in the Inaba Municipal hospital, Kamiko has had a lifetime of failing health and medical issues. Thus, she has rarely ever left the hospital, knowing very little about the world outside other than what she saw on TV and in manga. She yearns to go to a high school instead of being taught at the hospital, as she is supposed to be a first year. When she heard of the story of Sadako, she became obsessed with folding paper cranes. Thus, with the time she had in the hospital, she eventually folded a thousand cranes, wishing for better health. Strangely, her health improved at an alarming rate. While not completely cured, she was able to attend Yasogami high school half-way through the school year. She currently is learning about the world and unfamiliar surroundings, while also dealing with her now minimalized health issues.
