1. 1. SITUATION: Following the August 2014 Election of United Sahrani Prime Minister Gerardo Crespo, the country has been destabilized by its neighbor The Democratic Republic of Sahrani (DRS). For the past 6 months the DRS has been funding insurgent forces within United Sahrani in an attempt to destabilize the region and unite Sahrani under its banner. The UN has begun imposing economic sanctions on countries who continue to trade with the Democratic Republic of Sahrani however wholesale natural resources have proven to catch ear rather than empty threats. In early-2015, HUMINT/SIGINT sourced to multiple US Government agencies indicates that the SLA has begun staging infantry and supporting assets near the Sahrani DZ. As of March 2015, POTUS alongside a UN Sub-Committee has approved Operation Azar I to train, advise and assist the Royal Army Corps of Sahrani in the destructions of the SLA funded Insurgents within United Sahrani.

5. Farah Insurgent Forces:
6.
7. (1) Farah's forces have established themselves within the AO. They have multiple recruitment and HQ cells among the populace and plan to sway disgruntled civilians into joining their cause.
8.
9. (2) Capabilities: Farah's forces are well equipped. They have Russian small arms weapons, RPGs, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and other assorted crew served weapons. Farah's men also have light to medium armored vehicles but are predominantly on foot.
10.
11. (3) Most Probable Course of Action: Farah's forces may have been trained by CSAT forces that have established a presence to the South of Takistan. They are very persistant in their attacks and they have numbers. Do not underestimate Farah's men. Most of his senior members are veterans of the Takistani Army. They will make use of radio communications and send QRF to hot zones if they feel their presence is been threatened. Farah's men have a do or die attitude and have been found to work well in small groups quickly able to surround a squad size element.
12.
13. Takistan Terrorists (AQ):
14.
15. (1) The Takistani Terrorists who have remained dormant ever since the collapse of their terror cells have awoken. We do not know their intentions. We suggest all forces monitor this group closely. We are unaware if they are working in conjunction with CSAT or Farah's Forces.
16.
17. (2) Capabilities: Unknown at this time. Possible soviet-era weaponry
18.
19. (3) Most Probable Course of Action: Proper Intelligence and surveillance is needed to gather more information about this group. Right now, we suspect that they will resort to small-scale skirmishes and ambushes. Be aware.
20.
21. Canton Protocol Strategic Alliance Treaty (CSAT):
22.
23. (1) CSAT have established an AO in the lower regions of Takistan. We do not have much information at this time as their movements have been kept hidden up until this time. We do not know their intentions. Extreme caution is advised and they pose a considerable threat in this region.
24.
25. (2) Capabilities: Intelligence reports indicate CSAT Special Forces units are directly deployed in this zone with medium-to-heavy armored vehicles and high caliber weaponry.
26.
27. (3) Most Probable Course of Action: Proper Intelligence and surveillance is needed to gather more information about their movements and actions.
