FlipRP Rules

General Rules

1. Do not call for an admin for a reason without substantial proof, and do not talk back to staff.
2. Do not spam mic, sounds or props for any reason.
3. Do not troll.
4. No advertising of other servers.
5. Do not tell staff how to do their job.
6. Do not impersonate any player, especially staff.
7. You must "/advert Raid" when raiding.
8. You must "/advert Mug (name) (amount, max $2000)" when mugging.
9. You must "/advert Carjack" when before stealing a car.
10. Do not evade kick/ban. It will only make it worse.
11. Do not ask to be admin. Go apply.
12. You must wait 5 minutes between each raid, mugging and carjacking.
13. You must be added to the front door of a building to defend it in any way.
14. You may not scam.
15. You may not sell/give/save another players dupe without their permission.

Game Rules

1. Follow NLR, 5 minute duration.
2. If killed in your base during a raid, you may return once the raid is over.
3. Do not abuse your job.
4. Any dealer must make a shop or risk demotion.
5. Do not spam props/textscreens.
6. Do not build on properties that you do not own.
7. Do not build inappropriate structures.
8. Do not spam flashlight or camera.
9. KOS Lines may be placed no further than the sidewalk in front of your property.
10. Only criminal jobs may steal.

Killing Rules

1. Do not RDM. Have a valid RP reason to kill someone.
2. You may kill someone for trespassing, only if you have a kos sign or have warned them.
3. A hitman must "/advert Hit Complete/Failed/Accepted."
4. During a raid, you may kill anyone inside the building and anyone who continues to enter.
5. Do not raid an obviously empty base. (There is nothing inside)
6. Do not raid a house with a building sign.
7. You may kill law enforcement if they attempt to arrest you.
8. For civil protection, the last line of defense are weapons. You must try to arrest the criminal first.
9. Do not CDM. Ramming other cars/players with your vehicle is not allowed.

Prop Rules

1. Do not put props in another players property.
2. Do not spam props.
3. Your base must have at least 1 entrance. You may block off the others.
4. Do not build on roofs or public areas. (Hobos may not block off areas or build on properties.)
5. Do not tamper with another players props.
6. Do not create invisible/blacked out props.
7. Keypads/buttons must be next to the fading door they control.
8. Do not prop climb, surf or kill.
9. Display shelves are allowed to be locked in place by props, as long as players are still able to purchase the items.
10. Do not place display shelves randomly across the map.
11. You may have a maximum of 3 fading doors to enter your base.
12. Do not fading door abuse. (Opening fading door with keyboard during a raid.)
13. Keypads/buttons that are connected to fading doors must be within reasonably close distance and easily visible.
14. All fading doors with autoclose enabled must have a 5 seconds timer for someone to get in.
15. You are allowed one way props, and you may shoot through them.

Door & Property Rules

1. If someone owns any door in a building, don't own any other doors within that property.
2. You may only own 1 base.
3. Your property is within your owned doors. Do not build outside of it.
4. You cannot have multiple fading doors stacked next to each other unless a player can keypad crack each one without an issue.
5. You cannot be raided if you have a building sign outside your base.
6. You may kill those who enter your property if you have a KOS sign.
7. All Building/KOS signs must be of at least size 50 font and clearly visible.

Job-Specific Rules

Gun Dealer/Blackmarket Dealer:
1. You are allowed to have printers.
2. You are not allowed to raid, mug or carjack.
3. You must have a shop and sell at least one type of shipment.
4. You may base with guards or other dealers.
5. Display shelves may only be placed inside your shop.

Citizen:
1. You are allowed to have printers.
2. You are not allowed to raid, mug or carjack.
3. You may own a gun, but only for self defense.

Civil Protection:
1. You are not allowed to own printers.
2. You can arrest/kill if being shot at.
3. You can only arrest someone during lockdown after 30 seconds of lockdown being active.
4. You can only raid if you have a warrant.
5. You can only base at the police department with other cops.

Doctor:
1. You cannot raid.
2. You cannot have printers.
3. You can only base with another doctor or security guards.
4. You must set up a shop.

Drug Dealer/Meth Manufacturer:
1. You are allowed to have Printers/Weed plants.
2. You may base with thieves and gangsters.
3. Your job is to sell drugs, but don't get caught or you can be arrested.
4. You are allowed to have printers.

Gangster/Thief:
1. You are allowed to have printers.
2. You are allowed to raid.
3. You are allowed to base with each other.
4. Gang leaders may declare war on the enemy gang as long as the gang leader accepts.
5. During gang war you may KOS only the other gang, do not kill random people.

Hitman:
1. You are allowed to have printers.
2. You take hits from people for money.
3. You can only hit the same target once every 10 minutes.
4. You may only base with other hitmen.
5. Max hit price = 10k.

Hobo:
1. You are allowed to build on the sidewalks and alleyways.
2. Do not build on the road or block off public routes of access.
3. You are not allowed to have printers.
4. You cannot raid.
5. You may micspam, but only in your hobo house.

Mayor:
1. You must make laws for the city.
2. You cannot have printers.
3. You cannot raid.
4. You must advert a reason for a lockdown.
5. You are only allowed to base in PD.
6. You are allowed to own a weapon for self defense.
7. No purging.

Secret Service:
1. You must be with the Mayor at all times.
2. You cannot raid.
3. You cannot own printers.
4. If there is no mayor, secret service is not needed.

Security Guard:
1. You can only protect a shop.
2. You must ask people to leave the place you are protecting, if they do not you may kill them.
3. You must be added to the front door of a shop to protect it.

Staff Rules:

1. Do not abuse powers.
2. Do not go into people's bases without them asking you to.
3. Do not pick people up with your physgun unless you need to.
4. If you see people breaking rules, it is your job to correct them. Do not get ban happy.
5. When dealing with a situation, use console to verify information.
6. You may not use admin to help your friends or do things you are not supposed to do.
7. Do not copy another players dupe without their permission.
8. If we feel you are not fit for your position, you risk demotion.
9. Do not be biased to anybody.
