Glow - Response to Cheating Accusation

The fact that I even have to dignify this poorly made pastebin with a response ticks me off, but here goes.

You begin by stating some seemingly insignificant facts about how many games I played, and who I played my games with. You should know that I don't typically play comp, I play red hearts, so the fact that I don't have many games with people outside of yachi/jakerton can be attributed to the fact that I want to play a game with my friends for fun, and I'm not really interested in earning a trophy, not because I'm cheating with them. If you want to make the argument that I shouldn't play competitive mafia unless I'm intending to trophy, and therefore should play my games with a variety of different people, go right ahead. Accusing me of cheating, however, is completely false and should be evident if you decided to read the games instead of summing each game up into an inaccurate statement of things that went on in said game. You consistently forget to acknowledge the fact that there are people other than yachi, jakerton, and me in each of these games. These people easily influence these games with the things that they say and/or their revealed alignment. The fact that you think we're cheating because in some games we fos each other, and in others we don't, is easily attributed to the general consensus of the town when it comes to each player's alignment. You summarize each 20+ min game in 3-4 sentences that are not only grossly inaccurate of the content of the games, but fail to acknowledge the intricacies that lead to the outcome of the games. I will not speak for yachi or jakerton's plays, they can most likely explain those easily in their own pastebin. But in regards to my own "cheating" I'm going to set the record straight. Please set your pride aside and realize that you were wrong when you threw out these accusations. Hopefully reading this will help you to do so.

"Glow foses onebasedgod who is town, doesn't unvote him even when others do" - How is a fos that I had indicative of cheating? In this game, both Babylonia and villain fosed oneBasedGod before I did. Babylonia (the mafia) stated her reasons as to why she fosed oneBasedGod, "Mafia make a show of staying on topic." I simply agreed with this statement, and voted my fos. oneBasedGod inevitably self-votes, which I found scummy as well. The only "others" who unvoted oneBasedGod were himself, Jesteroz, and yachi. villain (the cop) keeps his vote on oneBasedGod, along with Babylonia and me. In the end, town agrees that oneBasedGod is suspicious, and he ends up getting lynched. I don't really understand how this is "fishy" in the slightest.

"Yachi/glow don't fos each other day one nor townread" - You fail to note that most of this day was centered on deciding whether or not to lynch oneBasedGod. No other player outs fos/townreads besides oneBasedGod. Are they also cheating because they failed to townread/fos yachi and I?

"Glow claims lb, pushes on her direct cc and doesn't really acknowledge mafia in docs, just tries to deflect." - Knowing that I am town, of course I'm going to push on my direct cc. The day begins with yachi claiming cop, in a failed rs with the mafia (Babylonia). After villain claims cop, yachi makes it clear that she is doctor. I continue to push on my cc for fear that if we left him alive, town would fail to lynch correctly in me/Jesteroz during a 3-way. He is my direct cc after all, he is confirmed mafia fmpov. Later on, I do acknowledge mafia in docs, voting yachi out of the doc ccs (Babylonia/yachi).

"Then votes yachi and says "You made a bad play" that lasts for less than a minute." - I think we can all agree that yachi letting mafia claim doc to leave her ccing cop, and then claiming doc, is not a great play. It causes me to fos her due to the messiness of the play. villain (the cop), says that yachi has good ate, and tells everyone to self vote. I follow the clear, and cross with my cc. villain then correctly hammers mafia in Jesteroz.

"this isn't pointing to cheating much IMO just could be meta abuse from this single game alone." - How is this meta abuse? I had solid reasons behind every fos that I threw out, and I don't really understand how two incorrect fos's, one including the person I am "meta-abusing", leads you to believe that this game does indeed show meta abuse. You even state yourself, this isn't pointing to cheating, so what's the point of including lines in your summary of the game that would lead people who read it to believe that yachi and I were role-sharing, when that is obviously not the case? The summary of this game is messy at best.

Based on my experiences of playing with yachi, I have found that she tends to filler in a lot of her games. Someone outted the fos on yachi due to the fact that she was only fillering. With an unsolid read on yachi, I counter this by stating that yachi fillers every game, and that reason is not strong enough to constitute a vote on her.

"Before this, glow wanted sky. Yachis last words are to lynch sky. She literally makes no attempt to say that sky might still be mafia, it's like that no longer existed..the whole day of her fosing him didn't happen.. . . then she just pushes on them, with complete confidence." - Yes, on the first day, I wanted to lynch skydemon14, mostly due to omgus because he wanted to lynch me. At the beginning of the second day, skydemon states, "glow town told at the end." This statement is one of the reasons I began to tr him. He fully admitted to the rxn, and it was then obvious that he wasn't cop. When I say that awnyy pushed hard on yachi, a lynch I wasn't confident in, I was completely right. I had already stated that awnyy's reasons for fosing yachi, due to filler, were not strong enough to vote her, and the fact that awnyy pushed on yachi for bad reasons and then yachi flipped town made me reconsider who the mafia really was. skydemon14 goes on to say that they tr awnyy because of their inability to vote on d1. Because I sr awnyy, the fact that skydemon14 was insisting that awnyy was innocent and buddying up with confirmed mafia fmpov seemed towny. I assumed that skydemon14 was being blinded by awnyys voting gimmick. After tr skydemon14, both awnyy and james are confirmed fmpov. Of course I'm going to push on them with complete confidence. If you read the game, I go on to explain my fos for james and awnyy, but since you conveniently summarized it as me magically fosing the maf, you obviously did not. You write that I make no attempt to say that sky might still be mafia. This is also completely untrue, as seen in the game.

Hmmm, maybe because he wanted to lynch me d1, when I knew I was town, and then he wanted to lynch yachi from a push initiated by awnyy, and yachi was also town.

Going against a cop that everyone else who is town already believes doesn't really seem like a good play to me. This leaves incompetentpigeon to be lynched, but honestly, I thought I could pull it off in the 3-way the next day. I guess I was wrong, but siding against Tartosis probably would've made it even more obvious that I was mafia.

"Then yachi instantly votes glow in lylo for the clear to hammer. Town wins, could be cheating" - Well, I'd assume yachi is instantly voting me in lylo because I'm her direct cc. Can't really blame her for doing that. Considering the fate of this game fell on Tartosis, I find it hard to believe that you really think this is evidence of cheating. I don't think I made it blatantly clear to anyone that I was mafia, so I obviously wasn't throwing for yachi, and I played to my win-condition. Unless you're accusing Tartosis of cheating, then this game is completely insignificant.

Again, I'm mafia this game. It makes sense for me to lynch tartosis, as he isn't my mafia partner. legalsec ends up vegging, and the game is unranked. Not really sure how this is evidence of cheating either. yachi and jakerton didn't think I was mafia, nor did anyone else fos me. Is this supposed to indicate that they are throwing for me? I feel like the only thing this game shows is that we aren't role-sharing. I'm not really sure what your basis for thinking this game involves cheating is, and obviously you aren't too sure either, as you didn't include any reasons in your pastebin.

I'm mafia again with Kai. Kai leads the town with a lynch on Jesteroz, which I sheep (jokingly), which yachi finds suspicious, prompting her to say "Kai/glow maf???" This is most likely a joke from her, due to the fact that she doesn't push on us and is content to lynch ShivyP. Again, not really sure how this game shows that we are cheating, I veg, the game goes unranked, me and yachi are obviously not playing to the other's win condition... As stated previously, I'm not really going to speak for yachi in this pastebin, but I'm just going to make a general observation that town manages to lynch mafia on the first day, and sineadiio and yachi tr each on the second day. I don't think it's insane for yachi to fos four for pushing on her, and sineadiio agrees with the lynch. Are you making the accusation that I'm also cheating with sineadiio, as she also correctly votes the mafia? Not sure how this is indicative of gy vision when there were valid reasons for four to be lynched presented by all of town.

Again, not going to speak for yachi or her actions, but I will point out some inconsistencies in your summary of this game. You state that yachi was only talking to denial all of day 1, which is true, but most of the time they weren't talking about game related material, so I don't see how this has anything to do with my report. She obviously wasn't talking to him to try to get a read, unless you count asking about rat emotes as cheating? Also, my report was that denial was inno. Considering there's a gf and millers in this game, my report means absolutely nothing. thecolonel votes bernie immediately, gives his reasons for doing so, and bernie ends up getting lynched. Again, not sure how yachi sheeping a vote indicates that she's cheating. You also state, "then she asks "why do you even tr me imhere" as if its so sketchy that he is, which i find to be funny because thats the other scum." and "she then asks him why he fos'd bernie (the other maf, imhere) but didnt vote until the end." I'm not really sure what you want yachi to do. When she doesn't participate, you assume she's cheating. When she does interact with people and try to get reads, you also assume she's cheating. Your logic is flawed and stupid, but whatever. I'm sure yachi will go more in depth on her decisions in this game in her own pastebin.

You obviously didn't look at these games objectively, and assumed we were cheating due to an unwarranted vio given to us a month ago. Moving on, skydemon starts a bw on Jord for absolutely no reason, which I find to be suspicious. Jord suggest a reverse bw, which I personally thought was a good idea due to his vague read on Jord and his fake cop claim. The rest of the town seems to agree with this as well, and skydemon is lynched. It's not that we didn't consider that each other could be mafia, in fact, I didn't out any reads but the one on skydemon. By this logic, everyone I don't fos d1, I'm cheating with, which is everyone but skydemon...

I guess you could make the argument that I wasn't trying, even though I had a sr on kann based on his first statement of d2, and had already had a slight sr on him d1, but saying I'm receiving info over skype? yachi had just died, she wouldn't have known who the mafia was, what info am I supposed to be receiving? Stupid statements like this are what make this whole case a complete joke.

Jord asks kann17 if he is pr, trying to avert the kann17 lynch that was happening on d2. Both prs are dead by this point. Jord is also the last one to vote kann on d2, and is the only one who wasn't content with lynching kann. Sorry if this isn't a reason enough to fos him for you, but this is what I based my vote off of, not on knowing that jakerton was town through rolesharing.

Not much content was being said this game, and I didn't have a lot to base my reads off of. Jeff says he's cop and to vote Irreverent, and with no cc, I follow his vote. I initially vote jleds, but after his statements he appears to be towny, so I unvote, which I say multiple times in this game.

"jleds tries to metaclear himself, glow questions it and dismisses it, because she foses jake and laser,, both mafia." - If you read the game, you would understand that jleds wasn't actually trying to metaclear himself. He says he's metaclear because he hasn't grs'd, and then explicitly states that he's trying to make a joke. I dismiss it after I realize he's not making a serious statement, I don't think that's too crazy to do. After slightly tr jleds from d1, I fos jake and laser, but say that I am more sure about laser. The rest of town is already voting jake. I didn't lead the lynch on this, and since jake is already one of my fos, I'm fine with voting him. Jake wasn't trying to save himself, so it was pretty obvious that he was mafia.

I don't have to convince jleds that laser is mafia, because they already think so themselves based on the previous days. I explain that I tr jleds, which I've stated above, and by poe, and his play, that makes laser mafia. Are you insinuating that I'm cheating with jleds because I didn't fos him? Are you saying that jleds is also cheating with jake because he believed that laser is mafia? Again, your summary conveniently leaves out key points of the game to try to sway the opinion of this situation. These accusations are baseless and make absolutely no sense.

I state after this that the bw on me for no reason (followed by the whole town btw), is extremely suspicious, and that everyone who is voting me is mafia. yachi tries to flip the votes onto jake for starting the bw, which is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. yachi immediately votes the person she wanted to lynch yesterday, jakerton, and states it's because everyone was voting glow yesterday and jakerton is the one who started the bw. Again, I think this is a perfectly valid reason to want to lynch someone after they started a yolo lynch on town. edwin also pushes on yachi, causing her to fos him as well. D3, Brenda is unccd doc, and she trs yachi. They end up lynching edwin because of this. Whatever, I'm not going to explain yachi's actions, but to me, they seem perfectly sound and I'm not sure why you're trying to spin them in a way to make her seem like she cheated.

This game shows absolutely no evidence of cheating. Both yachi and I played to our win conditions. Maybe I wasn't playing the best as mafia, but I certainly wasn't trying to get lynched, and yachi outed all of her journ reports. I don't understand if you're trying to make the statement that I'm throwing for yachi, or that yachi is throwing for me. Either way, you can't even begin to make a case as to how we cheated in this game. I end up losing, yachi ends up winning, but the outcome of the game was due to ThinkPad's hammer. Did ThinkPad cheat because he knew I was mafia? Another game further proving that this is a joke of a pastebin. I feel like you didn't even read these games.

In conclusion, this pastebin has absolutely no substance, and you're obviously reaching in every statement that you make in your inaccurate summaries of each game. I know that I'm not friends with any of the mods and I'm not going to get special treatment regarding this report, but honestly, if you even bother to read this pastebin you'll understand why this accusation is a complete joke. Apparently, playing with your friends is cheating, but you only get a violation for it if you're not buddies with the mods (i.e. calvin & annabelle).
