Overview:

	With the concept idea of the Lydenburg 'Boerboel' Armored Reconnaissance Vehical (CENTCOM desig: 'Boer') we have undergone trials for approximately two weeks and four days to determine the adaptability, capability, strengths, weaknesses, and overall operational effectiveness of the Boerboel ARV. Below, CENTCOM may find TECHTRI's evaluation of the vehicle, our findings, and our recommendations for future procurement of the vehicle.

Preliminary:

	Throughout the first trials of the vehicle, preliminary analysis and engineering overviews have verified that all basic specifications of the vehicle are accurate to those depicted in the procurement package and for which all have met TECHTRI standards for vehicle requirements for this specific tonnage. These requirements are:

Protection:

	The foremost danger in the minds of the TECHTRI personnel operating in this research phase was the dangers posed by Improvised Explosive Devices (IED's) by Pangeian Warlords as well as other enemies which we may face in the future. As such, extensive research was done on the impact of an IED of various sizes and makes, and their effect on the personnel inside the compartment of the vehicle. Likewise, the claims made by the Lydenburg Export Bureau on its protective capabilities against various rounds of ammunition were likewise tested.
	Levels of Protection vary from 0 to 5, with 0 being no protection and 5 being complete protection from that weapon. Below, our results on various small arms, rockets, and grenades can be found.

Armament:

	As well as protection, it is expected of the Boerboel to be capable of engaging superior enemy targets which have a size, armament, and protective advantage. Our military is expected to fight under numerical disadvantages and trains under this premise constantly, and it is vital that the Boerboel be capable of integrating into this doctrine effectively and flawlessly. Below are our armament findings and our synopsis on its capability to engage foreign Astyrian threats.

	To our current findings, the variants of the Boerboel Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle have the capability of engaging Heavy Main Battle Tanks of other Astyrian nations, such as the Blackhelm Confederacy, the Yellowstar Republic, the Empire of Nikolia, and Agrincourt. Under extreme circumstances where the Boerboel may not have sufficient armored assistance in the field, we believe it to be capable of strategically engaging enemy tanks and other heavier armored personnel carriers effectively given the crew is utilizing its strengths appropriately.

Conclusion:

	It is the conclusion and our belief that the Lydenburg 'Boreboel' Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle will be capable of adapting itself into the Aquitaynian military strategy and effectively make a role for itself in Reconnaissance teams, Special Forces, and basic platoon functionality. It retains the ability to be an effective guardian of a convoy as well as retaining the capabilities of engaging heavily armored and fortified targets effectively without severely endangering the lives of the crew or the rest of the Platoon.
	Its basic specifications are adequate to those of TECHTRI's requirements, and we believe CENTCOM will be pleased with the results given in this briefing. The Boerboel can retain its combat effectiveness for up to 600 kilometers without refueling, which extends Aquitaynian military reach by 150 kilometers in an invasion scenario, which can be found invaluable.
	The threat of Improvised Explosive Devices has been seen to be worrisome given large enough amounts of explosives, but in a strategic mindset, it can be said that any vehicle - even a tank - may be destroyed given a properly placed and sizable IED; due to these realities, it is our belief that regardless of the vehicles light armored ability to combat heavy IED's, that the survival rate is high enough to endorse its procurement.
	TECHTRI's recommendation is that CENTCOM immediately place a new procurement of Boerobel ARV's to immediately begin integration, training, and operations with the vehicle.
