- What the fuck is Robigo? -

Right now Robigo is the one failproof way of gaining money in Elite: Dangerous without losing your mind in whatever other grind is currently implemented,
be it mining, trading, missions, bounty hunting (although a near equivalent for moneymaking is now available by reaching rank 5 with zachary or ALD in powerplay and then bounty hunting)
Whatever the forumdads have told you about empire taking over or UAs shutting down the station, it's all bullshit, Robigo is alive and well. (when this was written anyways)

- Why is this relevant to me? -

Don't skim this bullshit, reading through everything here is going to save you hours upon hours of rage, annoyance, and vision, trust me.
If you rage about Robigo ITT after having had this manual available for you to read, you're most likely going to end up being considered a major retard.

- What does it give? -

In the beginning, Robigo will give 20-25 million as you rep up and get started. Most people get 30-50 million on their runs. But as a pro you easily average 60mil

- Preparation -

You need to have a bunch of shit in order before you start to truly Robigofag.
>Trade rank, the higher, the better, don't start before you have merchant/broker or so
>Rep with the local corps. Do a rep run to Robigo where you blow dick on Robigo Cartel/CdE Corporation located there
Most missions will be behind bars unless you do this shit, get ranked, and get allied.

Now, you need to get yourself a ship that can haul without slowing to a crawl, use whatever you want, but i seriously recommend using the Asp.

Now, enter options and set your game to borderless, you're going to combat log, so be prepared for it. Elite has a nasty habit of tossing you back in the game if you don't window/borderless it.
Keep your taskbar open or not, depending on whether your style is to alt+tab to it or use ctrl+alt+del.

- Grabbing missions -

You're probably thinking that you need to scoop up every shadow delivery there is, you're wrong. Also, leave the cargo runs/courier completely alone, they are worthless.
Generally, follow these rules for shadow delivery picking, it doesn't matter if it takes you an extra 10mins to scoop up good missions, trust me, this is worth it.
>over 8-10tons needed to haul? Trash
>less than 4-5hours? Trash
Make sure you fill your cargo hold to the absolute fucking brim.

- Robigo to the bubble -

You're going to encounter a fuckton of system authority and pirates in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. This is absolutely fucking bullshit, we know, we agree. But it's going to happen.
You're going to want to log as little as possible, simply because it wastes time.
Ignore all the ''Don't panic! I'm here to talk'' people, all they want is to offer you a 10,000cr mission and waste your time. Memorize their lines so you can mentally filter them and focus on pirates/sys auth

Follow these rules for system arrivals.

>Arrived, not interdicted, no dangers
Fuel scoop as much as you can

>Arrived, not interdicted, dangers present
Now you have two options
Option 1 is to start jumping for the next system, point towards the general direction of those dangers and keep doing that as you charge, it makes them incapable of interdicting you.
Option 2 is to log out and then back in in the other game mode (from open to solo and vice versa)

>Arrived, instantly interdicted
Either log instantly, especially if you're about to fly into the star, or try to evade, if you fail that, log as well.
If you successfully evade it, read above on how to deal with a system that contains dangers.

Note that logging, either to main menu or completely, will clear your route, reset it in galaxy map as the first thing when you get back in, always.

- Bubble mission delivery -

Now you've finally gotten to human space without having your anus widened to look like a wizard's sleeve. Shit's still dangerous as fuck though.
Once you're in a mission delivery system, follow the standard rules on how to deal with dangers, you can try to jump back and forth between the system you want to deliver to if it's dangerous, this will reset the spawn seed.
Generally, you want the system to become clear of dangers, evade all interdictions as you make your way to the station, log like a motherfucker all you can if you're being endangered. Just keep moving towards the station.

Here's an important tip, set a hotkey for 75% speed and hit it when you're 7-6 seconds away from the station, this is a very reliable way of slowing down automatically with little effort.

- The Stations -

Now comes the part where about 80% of Robigo rage pastas are born, you arrive at last, and an NPC arrives next to you, they scan you and fucking wreck your entire god damn day in about 10 seconds.
Instead of this bullshit, INSTANTLY log out to main menu as soon as you arrive to the station from supercruise, then log back in in the other game mode. Congratulations, you have now wiped the system NPCs attached to your missions.
If the station is an outpost, just fly there and land, job's done.
If it's a big station, line up with the entrance and don't approach within 7-8km, then request docking permission and go in. Set silent running and drop a heatsink for 0% heat, go at about 150-200m/s and station sec will literally never have time to scan you.
If for some reason you're being scanned before doing an entrance run. (or a security NPC spawned at a small station anyways) log as absolutely fast as you can.

Keep repeating this station delivery method until everything is dropped off, NPC spawn gradually decreases as shit is delivered.

Congratulations, now you can smuggle properly. Go buy a big fat Anaconda and A-rate it, then find out there's nothing to fucking do in this god damn game. Praise Brabo.
