Some examples of triggering Skill Checks include making jumps over long falls, ramming down a door in a burning building to reach someone trapped inside, and precisely cutting the wires to a ticking time bomb. Action Hero Stunt may not be triggered for Skill Checks invoked by Combat Maneuvers or Moves and Abilities.
