I'm having a problem starting AWN after the update. Whenever I start it, I get this error:
(avant-window-navigator:16788): GConf-CRITICAL **: gconf_value_get_list: assertion `value != NULL' failed
The process runs, but the dock doesn't appear on the bottom. I found the same bug in the Ubuntu launchpad, and they claimed it was a gconf bug. Any idea what's going on?

I doubt it is a gconf bug since this package is not build against gconf. Also, WorksForME. So I need more information:
aurpage avant-window-navigator.install comments PKGBUILD did you modify the pkgbuild ?
aurpage avant-window-navigator.install comments PKGBUILD did you recompile libdesktop-agnostic (you need to downgrade to vala 0.7.9) ?
aurpage avant-window-navigator.install comments PKGBUILD did you clear ~/.config/desktop-agnostic and ~/.config/awn ?

I still cannot replicate it. I will require a makepkg log (makepkg -L), all information it spews out to the terminal when started and the exact revision that you use.

This is an upstream issue. Downgrade to vala 0.7.9 for now.
