  36. Final Fantasy Explorers is a multiplayer action RPG video game for Nintendo 3DS. Like every other the game of the genre, you can explore the land to hunt down monsters for reasons, in this particular one you are hired to secure a very powerfull energy source known as the crystals by taking down it's guardians/protectors. Just open the game, and be happy gathering materials while you kill monsters.

  39. The game uses a Job system similar to those found in Final Fantasy V / Bravely Default, each one has it's own set abilities and equipable weapons, and you can change your current Job for whatever one you want while you are on the HUB town.
  40. You start the game with the Freelancer Job, and the rest must be unlocked via missions, also each Job can be Mastered via a 5* mission, once you complete said mission, that specific job gets an upgrade in the form of a wider choice of weapons not previously available for that job.

  203. In the game the abilities are classified in groups, each Job has a specific group of abilities they can equip, and a specific one that gets a little bonus.
  204. To get them you need to have a Job who can use them and buy them in the Central Crystal with CP. Once learned you can equip them freely in the "Abilities" sub-menu.
  205. You can have a max of 8 different abilities equipped at any time, BUT you also have a limit there, you have a bar with a Load limit, think of it as a weight limit, said limit is different for each Job.
  206. Each ability has a "Load cost", to equip abilities you need to have enough spare "Load" in order to be able to equip it.

  765. [3.2] - Mutations
  766. The mutations are added effects provided from Crystal Surges that you can add to your abilities, each Crystal Surge gives different mutations and only to some abilities.
  767. To get these effects you need to have the target ability equiped and then trigger a Crystal Surge, if your ability can "learn" a mutation from that Crystal Surge it will be highlighted in green, now you need to activate that ability and it MAY learn a mutation from the Crystal Surge, then you need to go to the central crystal and buy the mutated ability.
  768. Each ability can hold 16 mutations and a max of 8 different ones e.g. Firaga16 [Fire2/Ice2/AoE UP2/Dark1/Light3/Back Attack2/Front Attack2/Strike2]

  808. This game adds the Trance mechanic and it's companion item: the Magicite.
  809. like it's FFIX counterpart it's a special bar that fills when you deal or receive damage, once filled you can activate it by clicking the Trance icon on the lover screen (A green crystal) to recharge your AP bar, receive a specific set of buffs and a Crystal Break based on the equipped Magicite, also if you have a Hero Magicite equipped you transform in said hero while the Trance is active.

  812. The Magicite is a special type of Item and it is divided in two groups: Eidolon Magicite and Hero Magicite.

Each group has it's own accisition method, to get Eidolon Magicite you need to fight your desired Eidolon and lower his HP to a 10%, then you need to activate the "Encase" Crystal Break (this procces is similar to the Pokemon catching mechanic), if succeful the battle ends and you get his Magicite, hurray!, if you get hit or if the the "Encase" CB fails the battle continues as normal.
  814. To get Hero magicite you need to keep doing quests and it will be handed down to you by the Migrant Moogle Merchant in Libertas.

  1018. The game has a create-your-partners system similar to the one found in Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, in which you need to colllect a specific item called "Atmalite", from which you can craft that specific Monster to help you out during missions.

  1020. Each monster has it's own set of abilities, and base stats, they can be level-up up to Lv50, and you can choose up to two monsters you own before each mission to help you out.
