  67. Bio:
  68. Ghamina Al-Ghul was a slave.
  69. She was raised as a slave, in the Sultanate of Masjay. She sang for the bloated mountain that was her master, a powerful noble in the upper courts named Sarrad Al-Yia. She grew, knowing neither her parents, or much of the world aside the noble's own small court. Only what the other slaves told her let her know about the outside world, and it filled her with a restless determination - one day, she'd walk the world a free woman.
  70.
  71. Al-Yia was a cruel man - or just uncaring, perhaps, of the human qualities of slaves. She was one of his favourite pieces to sing for him - she had magic in her voice, and it refilled the fat man's energy to hear her sing. She had gained a small amount of fame - occasionally her master would show her off. Her voice was high and clear, and her beauty was unmarred. There was just one problem.
  72.
  73. She would not smile when commanded to. One night, after being in his cups, the master lost patience, and carved the edges of her mouth into a ghastly grin, remarking that she could still sing wearing a veil.
  74.
  75. Ghamina had a - well, to call it an affair would not be quite right. A courtship, perhaps, with her master's son - he favoured her, and she liked him, and enjoyed his company. Perhaps he loved her, a little. He was horrified at what happened to her. The lord's sun organised her escape, and with his assistance she fled to the Free City of Alife, to a contact of the lord's son - the Fool's Prince, Jan of Aen. She is resolved to assist any way she can, if it will end in the destruction of Masjay - but she'll settle for just Al-Yia's.
