  1. Just another day(?)
  2.
  3. It seemed just like any other day. A beautiful sun, a cloudless sky, and a serene silence filled with the chirping of birds and the laughter of children running through Vale as a certain old man watched over with a smile. Peace was with the residents of Vale, and it seemed like it could never end. What they didn't know, was that this was the second age of peace, and it had just been begun the other day...

  5. At Beacon, though the rest of town was filled with happiness, this academy emanated an aura of darkness. The air was heavy, the mood was gloomy, and not many dared to speak. Only the sounds of footsteps and stopping could be heard throughout the school, until the headmaster of Beacon had spoken.

  7. Ozpin: "In the last two years, we have been in a terrifying war. Much like the old war, eighty years ago, this war was fought due to the selfishness and greed of mankind, as well as our differences. Victory went to us, who represent the light, but we've lost many to the enemies of darkness. We could not prevent our enemies from spreading, allowing the innocent and defenseless to be involved, but we did all that we could, creating the best possible ending to this war. This could not be possible, if not for you students, hunters and huntresses-in-training. Especially due to the valiant efforts of teams RWBY and JNPR, who protected as many as possible, ensuring almost nil casualties to our citizens and students. But, today is not a day to celebrate. Today is the day we mourn for our fallen comrades who fell against the darkness, and the hero who created a massive turning point for our victory. She shined brightest, literally, of all of us, guiding us into the battle with the light emanating from her golden burning hair and flaming passion. Fearsome, yet gentle, she aided us all in our hearts and taught us to never give up, no matter how broken down you get. The image of her flaming hair and her flaring red eyes will never leave our minds as she went to the last battle. She was the only life lost during this war, and will always remain in our hearts for her sacrifice was not in vain so that she knows, she saved us all. That concludes my speech, let us give our hero, Yang Xiao Long, a moment of silence, please."

  9. Every student immediately forced themselves to stop sobbing, to give the moment of silence, every team except the remainder of team RWBY, who could not stop their tears from flowing down their face, unable to forget what happened on that very day.
