Disregard for life.

What is your side of the story and what evidence do you have?

My self and two friends were out robbing random people as we do. We come across Timothy Pickett outside his house I pulled my gun and he ran off so I opened fired as it was complete disregard on his side, lucky one of my shots landed and hit his head as he bind appeared afterward.

Hurley and Zyph can back up what I've said.

At first, he claimed he was AFK but before that, we almost shot someone around the corner and he was actively moving around both people I was with that he was moving around. It's complete bullshit what he said to me, he just disregarded from the start when he ran off.

I would like to begin by requesting for the ticket to be reassigned to a Senior Administrator, due to believing the current handler to be in a bias position with the reporter through their friendship.

Please do not take this the wrong way, I simply want the situation dealt with as appropriately as possible.

That said, I had no intention to disregard the character's life whatsoever. I was genuinely away from keyboard at the time of the occurrences, and saw no situation to deal with upon tabbing into the game when I returned to my computer. My camera was facing the interior which means that I could have potentially missed the gun being pointed at the character. Therefore, I simply headed towards the garage to enter but heard gunshots to which I immediately retaliated with the bind, as would any other player on the server.

There's no proof to suggest otherwise, and this can be considered a word against word case. I have already taken the situation as a player kill due to the randomness of the attack, but I truly deem a character kill to be insufficient. If I had known that there was a gun being pointed at the character, I would have reacted realistically and proceeded with roleplaying emotion. I am not inexperienced at roleplaying, and know better than to disregard life through running away.

and you say you wouldn't have run away well you did and you were shot that's your own fault for not looking at your surroundings properly it's just a shame that you disregarded your life you should've checked before hand it's your own fault in my opinion.

I'm not out to CK people but you blatant disregard your characters life like you did you deserve a CK pushed upon you for failing to RP realistically.

I personally PM'd you before I was in Krakkfaen's channel to reply to the ticket and you didn't know you're trying to pick and anything not to get CK'd which is what you deserve for running off saying you were looking the other way doesn't matter look at the case of Taylor Marie Parker and Swanker she didn't see and she still got CK'd.

I'm not going to accept anything less than a CK in this situation because you're pulling up false accusations to avoid a CK.

If you're alt tabbed, it's not something we should take into consideration. Bit of your own fault to alt tab in public. Running off is then your own fault for not noticing it. Pulling then a bind immidiately without even knowing what's going on ain't even smarter.

I don't see why Krakkfaen is bias on this, as he should be doing his work which he currently is doing properly.

I'll add Sjoerd aswell to see if he thinks it's disregard, as it is in my opinion.

I was only outside the interior due to a common bug that makes characters fall through on spawn. I took the time to log off outside last night to avoid the issue, as well as avoiding to wait for a staff member to handle a teleportation request. I selected the character and went away from keyboard to handle an in real life issue, because I deemed that to be more important than reviewing my character's position prior to tabbing. There were no signs of being held at gun point and no characters other than mine were seen, hence the sudden attempt to head into my interior. I came back to my computer to log off due to me leaving my computer for a longer time and heading out of the house, but was instead shot at which point I realized there were others around.

There aren't any reasons for me to disregard the character's life whatsoever, like I have already mentioned. The character has been well developed since the beginning, and has a wedding coming up along with a baby that's underway. Let's be honest here, we both know that the character wouldn't try avoid being shot by running from such a hostile situation. The bind was only hit as a reaction to the sudden shots, and that truly comes down to an in-character choice.

Moreover, the report I submitted after being shot down further backs up my point about being clueless of the on-going situation. I believed the shots to be a death-match attack, but there was nobody to take the report at the time. Both staff members were involved and the final staff member online was actually in the F10 menu, which means that I didn't get any final opinion on the scenario. If someone had taken the report, I am convinced we would have been able to re-roleplay the scene accordingly and I would be given a chance, instead of now being forced and pressured into an unjustified character kill, due to the lack of staff able to handle my report.

Does that go to suggest you were also 'very drunk and stoned' when you executed the roleplay? Please cut us both some slack through coming to an understanding, rather than being a nuisance and ruining roleplay for another player under absolutely no reason.

We have been on good terms for a long time and receiving a report against me from your side feels like you're putting a knife in my back. You and I are both aware that I am all for proper character development, and that I have put more than enough development into this character so far. Pushing for a character kill after such a messy situation just doesn't make sense, especially that it could have easily been roleplayed again under correct terms, if you had only told me I was held at gun point.

There's no way that this situation would have ended with a character kill if I were given the chance to properly roleplay and respond to the situation, this alone falls to blame on both the actively online administrators being involved. Yes we have known each other for a while and we get on but I didn't expect you to disregard the way you did I had been out robbing most of the day, with Hurley since Zyph went off to do reports, We was RP'ing everything properly but when you ran off I knew there was going to be trouble so I opened fire there was no intent to DM you I was completely looking out for my character he was a criminal that hadn't long been charged for "Murder" from Yannick himself my character was a ruthless criminal which shown in the crimes he committed.
You say you have character development which I get my Sahag Donabedian was developed into a ruthless criminal that didn't have much fear he was previously charged for serious offenses and was wanted for assault on an Officer outside Club X.

The big deal is you completely disregarded your characters life like you didn't give a damn that's why you ended up being shoot if you had RP'd just being robbed it would've been the ended of it you claim you were tabbed but Hurley and Zyph can back up in fact you was running around when we turned up it's a common bug you fall under your interior you'd donated enough for GC's get the interior replaced with a non-buggy one instead of making excuses why you shouldn't be CK'd if you cared for your character why run off "Oh I was tabbed" isn't a really good excuse from someone who's an ex-administrator on Owl-Gaming should understand the rules and not go AFK in public that's your own doing and the possibility of you being CK'd is due to a foolish mistake you made thinking you'd make it out alive if my shoot didn't connect before you pulled your gun this could've been the complete other side and you'd have happily pushed for a CK upon my character.

I still struggle understanding you being so uptight about the situation, but I do accept the fact that it may have appeared as disregard from your side. I have already explained my side plenty times, and I still believe that a character kill wouldn't be justified here. You are permitted to go AFK in public temporarily and that is exactly what I did, then decided to return in order to quit upon having to leave for a longer time frame.

If there was a staff member around to handle the report submitted after you killed the character, then the situation would have simply been voided or we would have been forced to roleplay agian. Therefore, it really shouldn't be a character kill now since the unavailability of staff members during the roleplay execution had an impact on the scenario.

Neither of us would like to get a character kill or a punishment, and I can assure you that I wouldn't have pushed for a character kill half as much as you if we switched sides. The reason is petty and there's truly insufficient evidence to suggest that I disregarded, as if it were an actual choice then I would have performed some roleplay stating the get-away attempt.

I did not see your character whatsoever, and was not alerted of your presence through any roleplay since you used a silenced command (/ame) rather than an open one (/me). I apologise for the situation turning into whatever this is, but I just want you to see some sense and be reasonable here. I am willing to redo the roleplay, why can't you just have a mutual opinion?

If I was killed by you I would've selfCK'd due to the faction I'd have fucked up and deserved to be CK, I understand you're trying to do whatever you can to get yourself out of this CK but you did "Disregard" you should've been more aware but what I find funny is if you check the logs it was 5 seconds between so you couldn't have been that urgently AFK to have had a 5 second gap I feel you're trying to claim stuff that isn't true to try and avoid a CK I don't feel you were actually AFK because Myself and the two admins I was with actually seen you running around.

What's happened has happened you was quick enough to press your gun bind as you were running and your head was blown off why the hell would you run towards your garage for? in a place that would give you a direct better coverage and protection of hiding your body than I had standing in the open it doesn't really add together from what you're saying.

I'd also like Zyph and Hurley subscribed to the ticket since they were involved in this Role-Play.

I ran towards the garage to make sure it was locked, because I wanted to log off for private matters, but simply didn't see your character standing anywhere around the property. The bind was hit as a result of the shots being heard, and was done instinctively to immediately protect the character from direct danger. It's really not that hard to follow.

I'd like to ask the administrator to take the fact that this was pure coincidental in mind, and base their judgement on the fact that this would have been re-roleplayed if either of our reports were handled in-game. Please think straight and force this to a re-roleplay of the robbery rather than a character kill.

Well sadly I can't Re-RP since my character was CK'd later in the day in a situation nothing to do with this situation. You completely disregarded in the situation you ran off thinking you wasn't going to get hit I understand you're going to toss up loads of excuses of what happened but when you was PK'd you's still online for around another 30 minutes I'm sure admins can check that via the logger.

I only stayed online because I still hadn't made sure my garage was locked, as explained before. I couldn't go near my house due to the PK rules to check if it was. Additionally, I made a report and I was waiting for it to be answered, not realizing that the two online admins were involved with the situation and wouldn't accept the report. I will not be replying after this, laying my trust in the decision of the GAT as I think it's obvious that this is an unjustified Character Kill.

If the IRL issue was so important? why the hell would you stay on another thirty minutes to make sure your Virtual Assets on a game is safe? It just doesn't make any sense whatever I understand you don't want to get CK'd I get that but you disregarded your life and whoever disregarded during the robberies was going to be CK I wouldn't care who it is. You should've been more aware of your surroundings before hand.

I personally feel you're just pulling up accusations and false claims on your behalf to avoid this CK we RP'd everything properly you just ran off thinking you were going to get away and shoot me.

And once again I'm going to request the other two people involved to be added to the ticket as he's clear they aren't going to be.

Furthermore I wish to argue the fact that Glocks do not have a safety switch, due to their trigger safety and thus DylanW's character's roleplay should be deemed invalid, just because of the fact that he would be aimlessly trying to figure out where the safety is at

Safety on firearms is a completely different point to the one I made. Some firearms have safety and that would have been completely fine, but the manufacturer of the firearm you chose doesn't make guns with safety you toggle. Go ahead and Google safety on a Glock to understand the concept.

Your character would have sat there playing with the firearm to figure out that there is no safety to disable, before being able to raise it upwards and shoot. Your roleplay line is definitely invalid since Glocks do not have a safety switch like other weapons. If you don't understand that, I am sure the handling staff member will.

So after going through this situation once more, I have to say, Humour didn't do much wrong other than pressing the bind after he was dead (Might have been a reaction by Humour too). He might have been afk in a public place but thing is, after going through the logs DylanW never told Humour to stand still or warn him that this was a robbery. So unless DylanW has a screenshot of direct eye contact between him and Humour we can't assume that you both have seen each other.

I'd also like to add minutes before we come back to rob Humour we tried to rob Wallace Lucifer Benito at that time of the shooting that is only a few minutes from when we returned to rob Humour he was running around again if he was AFK like he's claiming he was I'm sure he would've had the AFK symbol above his head.

I feel it's completely unfair that you're trying to make me bring more evidence when I've brought enough to support the evidence along with a Trial Administrator and Full Administrator that was there at the situation when it happened.

I feel Humour is trying to do anything to avoid this CK bring up a load of negative points if this was a criminal that was shot by a PD Officer he would've been CK'd for disregard to life, I as a criminal was doing my job trying to make a living then Humour just disregarded his life.

I am not basing the sole disregard from the fact your gun-bind was pressed I wouldn't have cared less if you had actually shot me due their being two other armed men I was out on the rob with, you blatantly disregarded by running off "Oh I was checking if my garage is locked" maybe, in fact, you were running there to barricade yourself inside the interior so you wouldn't have had the chance to be Robbed/Killed for disregard.

Due to failing to see my character that's your own personally doing and you've openly admitted here you ran towards your garage to check if it was locked? well that's openly admitting to disregard right there you've failed to stay aware of your surroundings that's no-one's fault apart from yours. You should've checked your surroundings before running and apparently need to log off but stayed on for another 30-45 minutes to check your "Virtual Assets".

Leaving your computer or in any manner tabbing out or going AFK should not be done in a public area, please use our F10 option going to the character menu for this.

You completely failed to follow this rule if you were "so called" AFK it's your own fault and you got shot for doing so all I suggest next time is be more aware of your surroundings and this wouldn't happen.

Disregard for Life
Someone showing disregard for their own life or unnecessary risk such as acting suicidally or generally not caring for their actions as carefully as they would in real life.

It clearly show's he didn't care for his characters life why would he not check his surroundings after coming back from "so called" AFK? doesn't make any sense personally because anything could happen like it has he has done exactly what the rule states above.

I went to check if the garage was locked. I didn't say that where I had to go was "urgent" as I was supposed to go swimming with a friend but I was going to log off for that either way. You're allowed to be away from keyboard in public until the icon affiliated with being away from your computer for too long comes on, which is 10 minutes. I'm not gonna bother replying anymore, as this is extremely tiring and I trust Krakkfaen will make the right decision based on the evidence, whether that's in my favor or not.

Hello,

So allow me to place my input in and tell you what I seen.

First off we had pulled up behind a garage in Marina, where to our surprise we saw Timothy Pickett sat on his front lawn, immediately we decided that we were going to rob him so we quickly circled around the block doubling back over ourselves before getting out the car with guns out, DylanW went straight up to Timothy with his gun out, threatening him, where to our surprise we saw Timothy attempt to run away, in retaliation DylanW shot Timothy, with a clean headshot, running around to the dead corpse we saw the /ame for pulling his weapon.

In my personal opinion I'd see this as disregard for his life, after he ran away from the scene and then afterwards attempting to pull his gun.

So basically, due to the fact that you did not warn Humour ic'ly this will be locked, nothing will be done to this situation and I will keep it as a pk. You did use your firearm to shoot but that was two minutes before you killed him. After those two minutes, Humour's chat could be filled with /f chatter, adverts and pm's.

You never told Humour to stand still and he didn't get the chance to rp this properly.
