Hey everyone! So me and Tom have been talking about the current situation of the guild. The chat is pretty quiet, night time is dead and let's face it, even during the day we have some pretty silent moments. Now, I'm not saying the guild chat needs to be flooded every waking moment with people chatting, but it would be pretty good to raise our numbers up to the point we have some more active night people and people who log on more than once every two weeks (I understand if people are working, but it would be great to have new people who are able to log in more frequently!).

So we're going to set up a reward system. As of now, all members (not recruits) are able to send invites to recruit people into the guild. We do, however, have a couple of rules. NO spamming invites. NO random invites. We don't want VT to have a reputation of being a guild who spams invites to everyone in sight. Since we're trying to get new members in, recruits will be upgraded to members rather quickly but will be demoted back to recruit if they are found to have been spamming invites, etc.

As for the rewards, you will receive 3 Globs of Ectoplasm PER member you have recruited IF they remain in the guild for 3 days. Anyone who abuses this system repeatedly will be demoted down to recruit regardless of current ranking.

With more members we can unlock new features faster.  As of right now, all we have unlocked is guild bounty and it's not really much for our members to do. I've always wanted VT to stay a family guild build on family motives where we aren't bound to strict schedules or guide lines, but having one guild bounty quest every week just isn't enough to really grasp people's interests.
ow, I know how hard it is to think up your own recruitment message because I'm still stumped on an eye-catching recruitment message that really grabs people's attention. This is our message right now:

Feel free to post that on any map you pop into. If people ask for information just give them what you know to the best of your ability. We're always looking for dedicated members of VT to become officers as we strive to become an ever-growing, populated guild with an accepting community full of amazing members.
