Uplift RPG Session #52.1 (Jee Personal Quest)

5 weeks have passed since the outbreak, thing are back to normal, minus the fact of them now using tech-knowojee.

Jee-Still Waki: ( Rad. )

In fact you see Eff tring to follow in your footsteps with her now sporting a robot of her own.

Jee-Still Waki: ( Better not be dating it. The Church has a powerful PSA about it )

Gaven C. (GM): (Well to be honest your family belived that you were dating fried.)

Eff: "Sista Jee look at this!" Eff jestures to the robot she jurryriged to work again.

Jee-Still Waki 's eyes light up, both in a non-literal and literal fashion, at Eff's work. "Hhh! Very good work, sister!"

The bot gives off the sound of early dial up internet and extends its hand to shake yours.

Jee-Still Waki returns the handshake. "You're getting good at this... Hhh... Are you doctor skills keeping up, sister?"

Jee-Still Waki: ( Sorry, meetin' talk and all. Still here on my phone )

Eff: "Yes sista! I've been doing the herbing & taking care of Dobau with her being near to bearing fruit!"

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... Good, good. Dobau and life-mate are very lucky."

Eff claps her and and tell R1n-T1n to go out and get supplies.

Eff: "Yes yes, lovly pair they are."

Gaven C. (GM): "... Can I ask you something Jee?"

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh? Is something wrong?"

You soon start to hear screaming from Dobau.

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... B-best ignore it. I am-" Jee stutters, stopping short from the screams.
"Hhh! Is it- Hhhhhhh! Fred! Get fresh water! Get clean rags! Meet me immediately!"

Fried rushes in "Master Jee what going o-" he stops speaking seeing you starting the helping of preparing life.

Jee-Still Waki: ( Thank goodness, it is just a birth. Always anticipating the exact opposite, like a raiding group or demonic ritual causing the screams. Blame comics for their cheap twists. )

Gaven C. (GM): (Well most of the tribes are peaceful of pao and no demons, the demons stuff if for match.)

you see that everyone in the tent is in a state of shock looking at the baby.

you see the mother nurse her child as the farther hugs her and his daughter while Eff goes off screaming out of the tent.

Jee-Still Waki: "Eff! Eff! Hhh... My... Apologies about her... Hhh... I will leave you alone with your... child." Jee states, grabbing Fred's arm and ushering him out of the tent.

Gaven C. (GM): "What is it Master Jee?"

Jee-Still Waki: ( Well, she's stuck with one job straight from the start, now aint she? )

Gaven C. (GM): (Yeah.)

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh..." Jee murmurs, looking around for her sister. "The child is of white fur and skin. Hhh... Medicine books says it is albinism. But here, she is seen as a... Hhh... Prophet? Hhhh... I do not know what best describes it."

You soon start to see the entire tribe head around the hut.

Jee-Still Waki: ( Man, just IMAGINE if I did roll a 1 with her as a holy figure kid )

Gaven C. (GM): (You would state the the kid will die and is frail and week, it would best to end it before it feels the future suffering.)

Fried stand in the huts entrace like a metal door as you handle the crowd.

Eff brushes across the crowd and enters the hut.

You enter the tent and see Eff reading prayers to the couple and the Moonfur.

Eff: "Oh they fine and happy, I would be happy too if my fruit was the new desiple to the god."

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... Sister Eff, if I may speak to you when available?"

Eff hand a small bat toy.to Moonfur.

Eff: "I'm can make time."

Jee-Still Waki: ( Alright, on a keyboard )
"Hhh..." Jee mumbles. Nearing Eff to whisper in her ear, Jee hushes "Where are the stone tablets of the god? Hhh... I... hhhhave not read them since I was... Hhh... Banished from tribe long ago."

Eff: "Oh... you need a bit of brushing up."

She hands you a leathery looking scraps twine togethered, in otherword a "book"

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... Yes, please. You know more than I do, sister."

Gaven C. (GM): Look thru the book!

Jee-Still Waki: ( Sorry, was editing the paste. Aight. )

Jee-Still Waki gives Eff a reassuring nod and asks "You will be OK with the parents and child? Hhh... I will be reading this in the meantime, sister."

Jee-Still Waki opens the leather-bound tome and reads on the tribe's god.

Gaven C. (GM): brb

Jee-Still Waki: ( aight. Probably the same here, gonna get some water )

Lunar, the god of the moon known for fling to the moon and back, bringing the waters of life to the world and the creator of sleep, allowing the mortals to have rest and dreams.

Jee-Still Waki: ( Neat )

You read up more on Lunar, you get to a part mentioning of her flying into the sky and seeing a castle of denyers of god and life, they're all out of touch with the world that she gave them, making their own place to live to hide from her.

Jee-Still Waki: ( After literally seeing a space castle, that isn't too far out of belief. )
( With it's own demon, too )
( Unless there's any more you wanna say, what's it got on Moonfurs? What's the purpose beyond a stronger connection with Lunar? )
( Suppose I should also see if there's any symbolism of the Moonfur being a vampire bat. Wonder if it has something to do with a blood moon or something along those lines. )

You turn the page seeing a drawing of her touching a white bat, you see that she's about 3 times the size of the average bat, It tells of how souls who brush aginst her become white as her and allowing them to see her and speak with her.

You soon reach to a part mentioning Red Moons, it states that the moon becomes red from Lunar cutting herself to allow her blood to flow into the souls of all living creatures, allowing them to live.

It tell of how the White Bats who pricks their body allowing their fellow believers to drink their blood once they reach the age of preaching.
Durring the Blood moon to allow them to be more closer to Lunar.

Jee-Still Waki cringes at the thought of drinking a fellow tribe member's blood, but keeps on reading.

Jee-Still Waki: ( Anything else on them? )

Gaven C. (GM): 9Anything you want to look up? And it like them pricking their finger and you getting 1 lick from it.)
(Like the teaching and growing of the White furs?)

Jee-Still Waki: ( And might as well read up what they got on the moon itself and whatever it has on other moons after. )
( And on the teaching, who teaches the white fur? )

It tell on how the Priests and Shamans basically become babysitters for the White fur, teaching him/her about Lunar and the Moon.

Jee-Still Waki: ( Do we have any priests or shamans? Or is Jee that role being the doctah? )

It also tell of the ritual they preform durring the first full moon for the White Fur, walking thru a waterfall with the white fur and flying high in the sky with them as close to the moon.

Gaven C. (GM): You a shaman, Eff Priest.

Jee-Still Waki: ( What's the difference between a shaman and a priest? )
( And a waterfall? Within the next full moon? That kid would get battered to shit. )

Gaven C. (GM): (Sham major in healing healing minor in god.)

Jee-Still Waki is mildly concerned at the rituals. Jee tries to find more information regarding them regarding the child's safety.

Jee-Still Waki: ( That's slightly more relieving, though the flying isn't. Especially since Jee literally has a strength of 1. )

Gaven C. (GM): (I mean it just water falling from a height.)

Jee-Still Waki: ( Alright then. )

( Got a few more now, but I'll ask about the moon around this planet and the thought of other moons and what they symbolize. )

Jee-Still Waki: ( So the moon is Lunar. )

Gaven C. (GM): (It doesn't mention, it seem to only talk about the moon orbiting Pao.)

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh..." Jee huffs.

Gaven C. (GM): (Lunar and moon are the same people.)

Jee-Still Waki: ( Any more information regarding the Shaman and Priest's job in teaching and taking care of the kid? )

Gaven C. (GM): (But Larar can be a bat while the moon is stil there.)
(It just mentions the teaching of lunar and the moon to him/her.)
(Usual parenting still happens along with their actual parrent.)

Jee-Still Waki: ( That's good to know then. )

Gaven C. (GM): (Doing the "Full Moon" thing is blashpamy.)

Jee-Still Waki: ( I see our technology calendar is coming along well. )

Jee-Still Waki closes the book and sighs in relief, mind calmed after reading into Lunar and what entails the white furred bat. Returning to Eff, Jee whispers "Thank you, sister. Hhh... I may have to follow your lead on some of this... I hope that is not a problem."

Eff: "Its's fine Sista, this is pretty stressful with the Moonfur just coming into our life."

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... I can only imagine how much it will be for the white- Hhhh... Moonfur, as she comes of age."

She then gets out a small vial and gives the Moonfur a trickle of blood into its mouth.

Jee-Still Waki: "Yes... Hhh... Is that safe for her?"

Dubau: "Her name, Ess."

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... It is a beautiful name, Dubau. Hhh... You are aware the full moon is three day- Hhh... Three moons away, yes?"

Dubau: "No I wasn't tracking, Do we have enough time to get to a waterfall?"

Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... We may."
( Was that one waterfall with the vines the weak one? Or are you talking about a different one? )

Gaven C. (GM): (The one with the vines is pretty strong.)

Jee-Still Waki: ( Perfect for a literal freshborn baby to go through )
( Gotta be hardcore to talk to a god, ya feel me? )
( Any estimate on how far the weak one is then? Say by foot and by flight? )

Gaven C. (GM): (Eh, lets say because a hostile tribe took over where the tribe started with a cave and waterfall.)

Gaven C. (GM): (The river yeah, but it will take a while to get to the fall, like 6 hours.)

Jee-Still Waki: ( Sure man. What time's good for you? )

Jee-Still Waki: ( Cool, but I might be out till about 30 minutes after. Got to meet with someone at 3:30 my time. )
