A noxious, red-hued fog overwhelms the area with a thick, palpable vapour. Massive boulders and
outcroppings of meteor litter the surrounds, the consequence of successive impacts that cause the
ground to sink into a large, deep crater. The burned lip of the opening curves sharply downward,
obscuring the true depths of the pool, and a jagged pile of meteorite melts in the centre of the
silvery liquid. The surroundings of the pounded ground bear miniature pits, formed by smaller chunks
of burning rock. Lifeless, sulfurous waters emit fetid odours from a large impact crater.

far as the eye can see, the walls within baring uneven layers of moist stone. The ground is covered
in mounds and bumps, making the slick, black earth a hazardous obstacle for any traveller. Twin
peaks loom northwards, casting the region into near-total darkness. An occupied iron gibbet,
suspended from a wooden gallows, creaks ominously in the breeze. A sigil in the shape of a small,
rectangular monolith is on the ground.

miasmic sky, dominate this bleak terrain. Amidst boulders and crevasses filled with mist, a
treacherous pathway winds between their twisted forms. The silhouette of Baelgrim Fortress looms
upon the tallest precipice, its spires crowning the mountain isle like a diadem of ominous thorns.
An occupied iron gibbet, suspended from a wooden gallows, creaks ominously in the breeze. A decaying
corpse has been impaled here upon a fifteen foot stake. A runic totem is planted solidly in the

A noxious, red-hued fog overwhelms the area with a thick, palpable vapour. Everything about you is
obscured by a heavy fog. Carved into the mountainside, a massive gatehouse stands a short distance
to the east, replete with archer slits and murder holes. The iron of a portcullis is visible in the
top of the gatehouse, ready to bury itself in the ground below. A thick wooden drawbridge crosses a
wide moat, permitting entrance to the mountain city. Long black chains arc upward towards the
mountain from either side of the drawbridge, disappearing through roughly cut gaps in the mountain's
surface. A guardhouse has been shaped from the mountain to the right of the gates, its entryway dark
and foreboding. Wooden boards with iron spikes driven through them and embedded in the rock beyond
cover the building's lone window. The flags of Mhaldor hang from the top of the gatehouse,
prominently displayed for all to see. Some graffiti has been scrawled here. It reads, "Know ye that
there is no truth greater than Evil." There are 5 knights of the Maldaathi here. A runic totem is
planted solidly in the ground. An enormous slab of volcanic obsidian towers over this area, the
regulations of Mhaldor etched upon its face. An occupied iron gibbet, suspended from a wooden
gallows, creaks ominously in the breeze. A ladder of long, soft leaves comprises a wispy Weaver's

the Reaver of Flesh is here. He wields an elemental staff in his left hand and a Shield of
Absorption in his right. Blade Aspirant Aepas Xa'sai, Ward of Mhaldor is here. He wields an ornate
steel rapier in his left hand and a Scimitar of Eagles in his right.
