  1. >Well dad, you done good.
  2. >It’s been many years since you arrived in this land, picked up the orphan Scootaloo, raised her, did some adventures and all.
  3. >She’s grown up, quite well you think.
  4. >Scootaloo went from a hyper little filly to quite the mare.
  5. >You’re damned proud.
  6. >You should be, You did very well.
  7. >We did good brain.
  8. >The years have been kind to you. You’ve maintained an exercise regime, eaten well, and did your best to take care of yourself.
  9. >You managed to remain somewhat chaste for the most part... with a handful of exceptions.
  10. >You’re a man and occasionally.... well you won’t get into that.
  11. >That’s not what’s on your mind anyways.
  12. >Because your little girl is getting married.
  13.
  14. >You gotta say, Snips sure grew up.
  15. >The awkwardness of youth replaced and he matured into a decent Stallion.
  16. >Still has those weird eyebrows though.
  17. >He’s still not good enough for your girl, but that’s just your fatherly pride speaking.
  18. >You still remember the day they went on their first date.
  19. >Oh how you doted. “Sundown curfew, Where exactly will you all be, Don’t forget to hit for the balls.”
  20. >You may or may not have enlisted the help of Fluttershy to keep an eye on them.
  21. >Oh how furious were you when you came home one day to find them making out on the couch?
  22. >You thought she’d never talk to you again.
  23. >But he was always good to her. Never put any pressure on her that you saw.
  24. >Was as supportive of her as you had always been.
  25. >Honestly, you were just afraid of being the #2 man in her life.
  26.
  27. >The day quickly approaches, and you and Scoots are busy packing her room.
  28. >You’re all almost done.
  29. >You carefully roll her Wonderbolts poster and put it away.
  30. >She’s in her closet and pulls out the little scooter you made for her all those years ago. She’s long since outgrown it and made her own to fit her size.
  31. >She lays it on the bed and you two reminisce for a while.
  32. >”Guess you’ll pass it on for when you two have kids huh?” You say, running your hand over it.
  33. >She chuckles “That won’t be for a while.... I want you to keep it dad.” You look at her somewhat confused. “You know, so you don’t forget me.”
  34. >You sit on the side of her bed. “I don’t think that’s anywhere near possible sweety.”
  35. >She lays a head on your shoulder. “I know dad, it’s just...”
  36. >You know. She’s no longer your little girl anymore. “I’ll keep it and remember all the good times we had.”
  37. >She laughs and wraps you in a hug. “Will still have! I’m just getting married dad, I’ll still be around.”
  38. >Yeah, she’ll ALWAYS be your little Scoots.
