background: FALLON KANG grew a rather normal life. living in busan was nice & calm, plus their neighborhood was nice. yes, as a child & even the beginning of being a pre-teen she was a normal girl. she went to public school, & actually got exceedingly well grades. it was like this, until a month after she turned 10. at the ripe age of 10, fallon started to experience weird things. it was as if all her senses were thrown off like she was a different person. however, she was lucky enough her family hadn't noticed. fallon had quite the hunch that if her parents, or even her brother, saw windows shut suddenly upon her glance or objects suddenly start floating- it wouldn't end well. it took a lot of courage, that she never had, to bring up the topic to her dear brother. at the time, while she was 10 he was already 18. she was lucky to still have him. when he first heard, though, his response was just a chuckle and pat to her head. it wasn't until later on that he too saw the magic. it wasn't like they could explain it to their parents, though. so, once a letter came in the mail from some wizard school. questions were everywhere.

AFTER A DEEP & LONG DISCUSSION, the truth had come out & was believed to be true. however, it took a couple more nights to fully agree on sending fallon away to HOGWARTS. the train was a very tear-filled and doubtful experience, but it's a very memorable one. once she was on the train, she was on her own. it was a nervewracking & scary experience, especially after hearing others talking about "mudbloods" and how horrible they are. it was then that her shyness truly blossomed & she promised herself she would become great at magic & all it had to offer, all on her own.

personality: FROM THE START, fallon has always been a more introverted person. it was much easier for her to read in by herself than to try and not make a bad impression to others. it was almost like she afraid to hear their thoughts about her but, at the same time she isn't extremely insecure. she's just so shy, she doesn't know how to approach others. friends aren't something she really has but, isn't that what your imagination & knowledge are for. fallon kang is an extremely intelligent person & has been since she was little. she's so wise, she always ends up thinking out all possibilities & chooses the one that keeps her out of the spotlight. she's often overlooked or just marked as not important, & she's learned to accept that & live with it. she's so independent, that she's always imitated of others. she then masks everything, hides it from others so they would pay attention to her. which causes her to be so nervous around others, afraid that she might crack. although, no one even knows her. if someone were to mention her name, no one would even know she was enrolled. she's a true loner, no matter how many times she tells her cat she's not. the main thing is, though, it doesn't even bother her anymore. she's grown to know that she's smart enough to handle herself. before when she first got to hogwarts, she was so nervous that it just ate her up. studying & reading was her only escape. it's like how 70% of your body is made of water, whereas 70% of hers is made up of pure knowledge. she just loves it so much, it's her own worry-free escape. however, escaping her problems leaves all her feelings bottled up. it's like a self-defense mechanism, rather than letting her feelings loose 24/7 she just hides them away from everyone. and even though she may seem like a softie, she's not (completely) & has an emotional wall built so she can survive independently.

FROM HER OWN ASPECT, fallon would like to believe she's somewhat stubborn. but, she already knows if someone told her to move seats she would in a heartbeat. that doesn't really matter to her, though. she prefers to observe others, be a spectator. she sees it as the smarter option to overall avoid trouble than to have to think of someway to get out of it. and in a way to her, people are trouble. she feels that she's setting herself up for failure when trying to make friends or just converse. a social outcast, as she would say.

how they act in school: FALLON BLENDS IN, she's mainly the same in front of others & stays out of the way. considering how shy she is, not many people know her. she's not one to speak up either, she prefers to just be quiet and be by herself. although, when she is alone or with her pet she does loosen up. on the inside, she's always full of nerves & any other emotion she's feeling. she never shows her emotions, to stop from gathering attention or bothering others. she does have her annoyed moments when she feels completely invsible & curses are mutter at those who just push her aside.

how you meet: IN THE EMPTY HALLS, fallon was on her way back to the ravenclaw common room. however, she was suddenly stopped by jung hoseok. this was a rare occasion for fallon, so it instantly threw into high alert. next thing hoseok knew he had wand pointed in his face, well chest. now anyone else, upon seeing hoseok's bright smile would cast away their wand & warmly greet him. fallon, on the other hand, did drop her wand to her side but, failed to even meet his gaze after seeing he was a student. hoseok didn't mind this, though, he even offered to walk with her. fallon instantly refusing & stuttering in the process, tries to escape explaining how she's going to her common room. the slight sad face on hoseok's is what guilted her to coax herself to invite him to walk with her to the library since she "needed a new book anyway." so they went, the whole time being filled with hoseok mainly talking & fallon questioning in her head what was happening.

  ↪ WHILE SHE'S BEEN GOING "UNNOTICED", he had his eye on her. he often saw her through the halls, all alone. hoseok loved to be with others & just spread happiness. so that was his plan, fallon kang is an unknown girl, who he has yet to see her smile. when actually talking to her, he noticed how she didn't seem to look at him or fully engage in the conversation. it was cute in a way, but also confirmed that his goal would be hard to achieve. it wasn't that she was cold, just very quiet & introverted. still, he could tell that she was a good person & from what he knows extremely smart.

  ↪ HE HAD APPROACHED HER, not bump into or push aside, which was something new. he easily stuck out to her, the way he emitted happiness. obviously a hufflepuff, but she found it refreshing from the looks she usually got. she found him very kind but, still made her nervous. everyone was intimidating to her, even his smile was. however, this nervous was different from others. she's never experienced such kindness from a person, everyone else just brushed over her entire existence. of course, she had seen him before, not knowing him, though. now that she was face to face with him, though, all she could do was take in his warm aura & feel his merriment. like a ball of sunshine. she still weary, however, you can never know with others or when they'll turn on you. so caution was her main thought, along with confusion.

 BEGINNING
  ↪ FALLON IS JUST A SHY GIRL, & so her actions are always very subtle. since she somehow managed to get herself into the situation of "befriending" hoseok. however, she'd rather try and work through it than work her way out of it. therefore, when she's with him she tries her hardest to not completely erase herself from the interactions & instead give small, simple replies while still keeping to herself.
 MIDDLE
  ↪ SHE'S STILL A LITTLE IFFY WITH HIM BUT, she's able to say she has an actual friend. meaning she puts her best effort to be an equal friend to him. although, it's much easier said than done. after years of being on her own, it's hard to suddenly adapt to a companion that's not her cat. though, her true feelings & personality actual start to show. like a blooming flower, & some of those blossoming fleeings could be of love but, the idea itself has her at a loss of words. she finds it ironic that she's so smart & wise but, she can't explain the emotions she's feeling.

  ↪ HER SHYNESS FINALLY DISAPPEARED, only towards him, though. she actually feels as comfortable around him as she does her dear cat (as bad as it sounds.) she actually really enjoys talking about all the books she read, & telling her favorite tales. it's like she's a separate person when with him than she is around the school. however, due to hoseok, she's much more comfortable around the school than before & is actually known a little. which none of that actually matters to her, but rather the growth of her friendship/relationship with hoseok.

   ↪ HOSEOK IS SO FRIENDLY TO HER, it's unbelievable that a person can be so kind. he really wants her to be able to warm up to him, even if it takes baby steps. he really worries about how she feels & if she's ok at all times.

   ↪ OVER TIME, it seems he becomes a little protective of her. he doesn't like her to be alone, but in the sense that she shouldn't have to be. he's always looking out for her, while still boosting her mood. and once she did start to respond more positively & interact with him, he was over the moon happy. it was like his biggest challenge was over & it was time for fun. he could relax & just enjoy her participation. seeing her easily become his favorite part of the day.

   ↪ EVERY DAY WAS LIKE A FIELD DAY FOR HIM. now that the two have grown much closer, he feels even more happy than before (if that's even possible.) he really enjoys spending time with her, & is glad she feels the same. he actually loves to just walk with her places seeing as now she also engages conversations, rather than it being just him.
