(To make this fair, since while I hovered over each of the gamemodes players left/joined, I will be taking the highest number while I was viewing that gamemode into consideration and ignore the lower numbers for both servers)

Why?

Because while Hypixel has game-specific lobbies (example: the Blitz lobby) that you can sit and chat in that show in the game compass, while Mineplex only has a main lobby, and NOWHERE on their compass does it show a player count for that! And let me just say that a LOT of people afk/sit in the lobbies. However some people may still say "but those are afk bots!". Well, I can't really prove nor disprove that, so you can go ahead and believe whichever option you think is correct.

Not only that, but Hypixel also has a main lobby and they don't have a player count on their compass for that as well. So technically Hypixel's player count is also inaccurate when you do the math like I did.

You can't determine how many players are actually on each server... Sure, you can make a rough guess using tryhard-powers like I did, but there's no way to determine which server is "legit" or "uses bots", and you can thank the main lobbies for that. ;)
