(20:36:21)<Sunyatana>Giving off the faint smell of a human was always an... interesting experience. It always meant she'd find someone to provide entertainment, and was always a game to guess just who or what she'd find. As she walked through a path through the forest, idly spinning a red rod, she'd keep her eyes ahead, seemingly unaware of her surroundings.

The thickness of it is far less than it is during the daytime, as there is no Sun to pester her into smothering herself with the cool darkness, and the moonlight is absolutely beautiful tonight. Rumia flies about without really looking where she is going as she gazes up into the trees up above that shield the stars from view, trying to catch a glimpse of the little specks of light.

(20:51:23)<Sunyatana>Within moments, Sunyatana would disappear just as Rumia would crash into her. However, she'd reappear so quickly, catching the small youkai from behind, that it'd seem as though she just passed through her. "Oh dear... You should watch where you're going, little one." Also strange, her staff was gone.
(20:55:52)*Rumia flails briefly as she is caught from behind, darkness flickering into nothing as she tries to turn around to look at Sunyatana. Once she catches the scent of a human, she calms down slightly, giggling softly as she floats upside down to see the other.
(20:55:52)<Rumia>Ah~ Hello, Onee-san! Why are you out so late?
(20:55:52)*Rumia chimes, looking at the other curiously, holding up her dress with her hands so that it doesn't fall over her face.
(21:00:41)<Sunyatana>"Oh my, well aren't you a little cutie~?" She'd say, reaching out to pinch the little one's cheek a bit. "A better question is why are you out so late? Usually humans tend to poke around here during the day, after all. Not so often at night." She'd pat Rumia's cheek, almost teasingly.
(21:03:13)*Rumia is unusually adorable for a creature that is clearly a youkai, making no attempts to hide it as she smiles wide with her razor-sharp looking teeth.
(21:03:13)<Rumia>Uh-huh! Humans are silly, though. What if a youkai caught them?
(21:06:29)<Sunyatana>She chuckled, "I'd imagine that'd only work if the youkai didn't get caught first~" She grinned herself, not seeming at all bothered by Rumia's sharp smile. If anything, she seemed to enjoy the sight. "But... hm... I guess that'd depend on the youkai and the human's capabilities, don't you agree?"

(21:09:07)*Rumia states loudly, though she leans in close to take a deep breath of the humanish scent. Though she wasn't really hungry before, she is growing more and more so over time.

(21:11:14)<Sunyatana>She chuckles, bowing forward in greeting for a moment before rising. "Ah, you may call me Sunyatana, Rumia-chan~" she chuckles. "Certainly it's a pleasure to meet you~"

(21:15:32)<Sunyatana>"Oh~?" She seemed slightly shocked at this revelation, although it'd be hard for /most/ people to take her seriously. "My, my... I had no idea~ I can't say I've run into any danger yet, though. Perhaps it's safe, then?"

(21:17:31)*Rumia seems stumped at this. After all, she'd always heard that it was dangerous out. But... now it isn't?

(21:29:19)<Sunyatana>She'd watch Rumia with faint amusement, chuckling and patting her on the head. "Ah, yes, I'm sure you can~" Her attention would be drawn to the slightest glint as moonlight reflects off Rumia's amulet. "Oooh... what's this, now?" She said, curiously as she traces a hand over the amulet. "How curious..."

(21:33:27)*Rumia tries to look up at what Sunyatana is looking at, but it's out of her field of view, no matter how hard she tries.

(21:35:06)<Sunyatana>"This pretty little amulet you have. It's quite eye-catching..." She'd say, feeling the bit of magic that the item posessed under her fingertips. It was quite curious indeed, and she wondered why this little youkai had such a thing...
(21:36:28)<Rumia>Wawa... You mean that ribbon? Isn't it pretty? I dunno how I got it, but I think it looks really pretty~
(21:36:28)*Rumia giggles softly, remembering what the accessory looks like from seeing her reflection.
(21:40:53)<Sunyatana>"Hm... may I borrow it for a moment? I'll give it right back~" And surely she would, but for now she was curious.

(21:43:01)<Sunyatana>"I promise~" She nods, untying the ribbon and removing the amulet, looking at it closer as she did. "How curious..."

(21:49:14)*Rumia 's eyes widen as soon as the amulet is removed, a massive flood of darkness immediately expanding outwards as the amulet seemingly evaporates into red mist. Massive surges of power radiate outwards from te small youkai as the darkness seems to swallow up everything in its path. However, it doesn't expand nearly as far as it could, as it could have easily swallowed up all of Gensoukyou in mere moments. Rather, this seems limited;
(21:49:14)*Rumia controlled. Inside the void, something is stirring, many shapes move about within, some of these imagination, others very real. The endless opportunity for anything to emerge lingers like a cloud over the area, bathing everything not already swallowed with darkness in a dread that seeps into the soul, no likely a crushing presence for the weaker youkai and fairies in the area. Something trrible has happened this day.
(21:53:58)<Sunyatana>"... Well... Shit..." He'd utter as the amulet evaporated, and darkness flooded the surrounding area. "And yet another person uses black smog..." She'd sigh, closing her eyes for a moment. That done, she'd now look past the the third dimension to try to get a better look at whatever was stirring in the void, seemingly unperterbed by the wave of power that moves.

And, truth be told that initial burst was just pent up energy from a long time ago, which its owner limited to avoid eating up everything. Soon enough, nearly all of the black is gone, revealing a figure, though they have what remains of the void behind them as a sort of halo, almost.
(22:03:25)<>mbiance<>  Amid the feeling of absolute dread and power, there's a.. faint calmness. A gentle stillness attempts to settle over the forest in the darkness and nothingness, though it lasts only briefly before seeming to fade away.
(22:05:27)*Sariel lands at the forest's edge with a soft, fading flutter from her wings. She stands quite still as she considers the strange feeling in the air, how it seems to encompass everything here and how it easily drowns out the faint ambiance that she carries about her. Surely there's something odd afoot.. ... The paperwork can definitely wait.
(22:07:11)*Rumia stretches idly, taking a look around before her eyes light on Sunyatana, a thin smile spreading across her face. Almost sage-like in stature, the figure glides somewhat closer, inspecting the one who released her.
(22:07:11)<Rumia>My, my. Well done, 'Sunya-onee-chan'. It is... a bit out of character for me, but I thank you for releasing me from that awful curse. How very annoying it has been to be trapped as a mindless whelp all this time...
(22:07:11)*Rumia 's power quakes again, expanding just slightly, as though the darkness itself were stretching, too. Countless half-shapes dance about inside, holding innumerable wonders within...

(22:11:01)*Sariel starts cautiously into the forest, her wings still held open somewhat as she goes. The feeling of everything here.. it's distinctly different from all the times she's been to this forest before, with unfamiliar sounds seeming to rasp in the edge of her hearing.
(22:11:38)<Sunyatana>"Mmh, indeed... That is always a bother." She said, chuckling softly as her eyes opened once again. Though she was still seeing in the 3rd((4th? We never did get that sorted entirely)) dimension. Her eyes, however, were red with blood, the pupils having seemed to open up to the point where it tore the irises apart. Despite this, she still smiled, tilting her head at Rumia as blood streamed down--
(22:13:27)<Sunyatana>--her face. "But... With that sudden burst of power, now I can't help but feel as though I've done something... potentially troubling. After all, something is sealed for a reason, yes? And for a seal capable of holding back /that/ much power?" She whistles, "My, this always happens whenever I go on evening strolls and take random, circular objects..." She chuckled.

Pulsing with a faint blue glow in the all-engulfing darkness, she isn't a sight easily missed as she slowly approached the epicenter of this unfamiliar energy.

"However, surely you'd understand when I say that accidentally releasing a beast leaves one in charge of making sure it doesn't wreak havoc~?" With that, she retrieves a knife from her sleeve. "But, that won't be me. Farewell~" With that, she slits her throat, falling to the ground dead on the spot.

(22:30:07)*Rumia says, shaking her head. However, perhaps sensing the presence of Sariel, The grows somewhat, swallowing up Rumia's form again, surrounding her in the comfortable darkness once again.

(22:30:57)*Sariel stops when she hears the sound of voices, once again going still. Something about releasing a beast and.. abandoning being in charge? She comes a little closer before being addressed, her line of sight staring blankly in Rumia's direction.

(22:36:29)<Sunyata>The faint glimmer of moonlight was the only warning that anyone would have. Following would be a flash of light that just briefly illuminates the area, and following that would be a... very loud boom. All would happen in a matter of moments, a faux supernova sans the whole... explosion... overhead to cover the maelstrom of chains that would surround and quickly close in on Rumia.--
(22:39:00)<Sunyata>Various ofuda would be hanging off the chains, each glowing with a near blinding light which would make the chain itself become just as bright as the chains. At some point, they'd stop, though, seeming to be constricting a semi-transparent sphere around Rumia.--
(22:40:45)*Sariel staggers back purely from the sound, shivering slightly as she lunges her wings out around herself to protect from any potential attacks or debris from the explosion.

(22:42:41)<Sunyata>Eventually, the light emitted from the ofuda would become red shifted, increasingly so until the sphere would become just a dark mass with a chain extending from it and to Sunyata, who was smiling wide as is trick seemed to work. To Rumia, of course, she'd just see a blinding light all around her, where even the light had become trapped in with her. An effective black hole.

(22:45:36)*Rumia directs her attention up at the big boom and flash, seeming to push back with her darkness, clearly aided by the already present darkness of night time, and so suffers no real loss as she floods the immediate area with an empty, black void, eating up the chains, quenching the light directed. Something strange happened in the darkness as it continued to spread out, everything that came near seeming to feed it. However, it does stop its
(22:45:41)*Rumia spreading beyond a certain extent, clearly not interested in claiming the entire area, just enough for its current purposes.

(22:47:51)*Sariel easily lifts up into the air, a few silver-blue feathers drifting from her wings as she does. Unperturbed by the darkness and how it flows about, she remains quite affixed on the two individuals out in front of her.

(22:49:27)<Sunyata>"Ooh... That's not good." He'd say, pulling back gleipnir quickly before too much of it was devoured. He tucked it back into his sleeve, clapping his hands. "Well done! You've successfully escaped a black hole. I'm quite impressed... And out of ideas!" He'd chuckle, glancing to Sariel and waving a hand dismissively. "Settle down, settle down~ You wouldn't be able to stop either of us if we did~"
