Athonien Nahaeros stands at an imposing size, and is possessed of an iron will. He keeps his appearance tidy, with finely pressed clothes and well cropped hair. His voice, although not exceptionally loud carries well, cutting through dins to be heard easily. His presence is commanding, as though his body language and demeanor have not caught on to the fact he is truly nobility in name only now, showing true nobility comes from a sense of steely self confidence, unwavering determination, and mellowed pride. He maintains his poise with practiced dignity in the face of adversity, and prefers careful reason followed by decisive action when going about things.

Strict, yet fair. A little demanding of Adrasteia with his expectations, but certainly kind enough. He is a stern father figure overall.
Loved his wife dearly, did not remarry while he raised his heir. He is dutiful and expects the same from others, highly traditional.
Still relatively fit for his age, lots of experience, probably fairly charismatic as he was raised to fill a leadership role from a young age. He is well respected in his community (from what I remember you saying about the family).

Perhaps his own family/parts of his family may have died when the new ruler took power, which is why he is so overbearing towards his daughter. He really just wants the best for her even if it may at times seem unkind.

Toying with the idea of of Adrasteia's decision to adventure not being his idea at all, Adrasteia saw one of the benefits as a little more freedom. Adrasteia isn't really resentful of him and actually bears great respect for her father, but she was a little "rebellious" at times.

Athonien Nahaeros works as a... civil servant, mayor, lawyer/judge something like that. Or perhaps as captain of the guard or maybe as an outside option an amateur historian mostly supported by old family wealth with a bit of legal work on the side?

He has a talent for legal matters, administration, diplomacy, reading people, and is a well trained warrior and a veteran of the war in spite of seeing little combat (he taught Adrasteia everything she knows). He also has a great appreciation for fine arts which shows in his home. He feels he can play an instrument despite little actual training, something he passed on to Adrasteia.

His friends include some clergy in the temple district like Head Abbot Lakajan Rustek (as thats where he lives), A few notable merchants, and sympathetic nobles who were perhaps allies of our house in some way such as Voynan Ysenide (who you said keeps Ildes's evil tendencies away from the family). He and Gostgotti Turvor (captain of the guard) have been friend's since childhood (this may be stressed however due to his ties to Unferth Ildes rule)?  Bitha Tauleas, Piletti, and Furuch Endion are on neighborly terms with Anthonien.

His enemies include Unferth Ildes, and his supporters. Grand Cleric Marieka Holmes for example. Being lawful and concerned for his community puts him at odds with criminals like Arlen Levander and to a greater extent Tamatar Organ however it seems they are not very concerned about it considering the current state of rule as well as the lack of convicting evidence against them. He is watchful of Nananoria Crindon due to the rumors.

It could also be interesting for there to be possibilities of him remarrying, or arranging for noble suitors to call on Adrasteia (D:).
