  1. >You had never done anything wrong.
  2. >You were always the one that got good grades. You always did your chores. You always listened to your parents, and always recycled whenever you could.
  3. >You were always the good kid.
  4. >But that didn't matter.
  5. >You still got in this mess.
  6.
  7. "Hey kid. Kid. Get up."
  8. >You know that voice. This wasn't good.
  9. H-huh?
  10. "Come on kid, I don't got all day. The boss says he has a special assignment for you today."
  11. >You quickly get to your feet, knowing that this guard doesn't mess around. It was kind of hard considering that you had shackles on your wrists, but you have since learned.
  12. >You take a look around the room, seeing if they had moved you when you were sleeping again. It was impossible to tell though, since the entire room was completely white, just like the last ones. The only way you could tell last time because this guard told you.
  13. >Over all the guards that have supervised you, you could tolerate this one the most. Even though he seemed to hate you, he still respected you, while all of the other ones talked to you like you were stupid.
  14. >You stretch and yawn.
  15. What?
  16. >The guard chuckles.
  17. "The boss wants you for an important assignment. That's all he said."
  18. >You nod your head, and the guard takes you by the chains and leads you out of the room.
  19. >The hallways were completely white, and seemed to twist and turn endlessly. You had since gave up on escaping. Even though they didn't lock your room, you always got lost in the hallway, and there was always a guard to punish you, and send you back, beaten and exhausted.
  20. >You are pulled by him for a good thirty minutes before he finally stops in front of a door.
  21. >This looked just like all of the other doors, except this one had a card slider on the knob.
  22. >The guard takes out a card from around his neck and slides it across. A light on the door turns green, and he turns the handle, and pushes you inside.
  23. "Have fun."
  24.
  25. >You stumble and fall on the floor. Just like all of the other rooms you have been in, it was all white. However, this room did seem at least twice as big. You don't know why they would give you such a big room, but you weren't complaining.
  26. >What did he mean by "important assignment?" How is this important?
  27. >You are so tired of the mind games. You just wanted to go home.
  28. "Hey kid."
  29. >You widen your eyes. This was new.
  30. Who is it?
  31. >The voice seemed to come from the wall. There must be a small speaker somewhere.
  32. "Let's just say I'm the boss."
  33. >You never got to talk to him. You had a million questions.
  34. What do you want?
  35. "My, you are cocky, aren't you? Don't worry, I think that this little "experiment" will fix that.
  36. What experiment?
  37. "Turn around."
  38. >You do as he asks.
  39. >You immediately almost pass out.
  40. >There was someone in the room with you.
  41.
  42. >It was a girl. She wasn't wearing the usual white uniforms like all of the other guards though. In fact, she was wearing clothes that were quite colorful. She had on a pink t-shirt, with blue short shorts. She had on pink shoes too. Ok, it wasn't really that colorful, but when you look at yourself, you were wearing a white t-shirt, white jeans, and white shoes. She had you beat.
  43. >Wait a minute, why does she get to wear colors? They made you wear these. And why isn't she chained by her wrists? That wasn't fair. Then again, you were stuck here against your will.
  44. >The most peculiar thing about her was that she had completely straight, pink hair. It even looked completely natural, no dyes or anything.
  45. >The most unsettling thing was, the whole time you were staring at her, she was crossing her arms and glaring at you, like she was going to slit your throat. You take a few steps back.
  46. >Why the heck would they give you a roomate? And why did it look like she wanted to kill you?
  47. >You stare at the wall again, making sure the girl keeps her distance.
  48. What exactly am I doing?
  49. "We want you to get her to like you."
  50. What?! Why?! She looks like she wants to kill me!
  51. >You hear her scoff.
  52. "Listen kid, you were the last idea that came to us. We have tried everything we could to change her. We couldn't get on her good side since we are holding her in, ahem.. custody. But since you are also here as a, uh, guest, I think that she will come to favor you.
  53. What makes you think I will try to help you?
  54. "One reason. You aren't leaving until you either die, get her to like you, or become, as we say, "unusable".
  55. >You didn't like the sound of that.
  56. "Also, she has the keys to your chains."
  57. >Now that was unfair.
  58. "Don't worry, we will provide you both with some food and water. You both have a long time to spend in here at this pace."
  59. >You look at the girl again.
  60. "Well, good luck kid. You're going to need it."
  61. >With that, the voice is gone. You continue to stare at the girl.
  62. >So all you have to do is get her to like you? That can't be too hard. Maybe now that she knows you're a prisoner too, she won't be as hard to deal with. Maybe you could just ask her for the keys, and she'll just hand them over.
  63. >You walk over to her. She continues with her death stare, making you uneasy. You decide to take things smooth.
  64. Hey.
  65. >She doesn't stop glaring.
  66. Well, if we are going to be here a while, I might as well introduce myself. My names Aanon. And you are?
  67. >You hold out your hand, which was hard with the chains, and smile. She seems to get even angrier. She gets right up to you, and looks you staight in the eye, inches away from your face.
  68. "Listen "Aanon." I don't like you, and I never will. I really, really hate you. If you think that you are going to get me to like you, you can forget it. I hate everyone, especially you. I am not going to give you those keys either.
  69. >You lower your hand, and back away.
  70. >You cup your hands together, and shout.
  71. Okay, I tried! The plan failed miserably.
  72. >No response.
  73. >Fuck.
  74. >You were stuck in a room with a girl that wishes you were dead. You were sleeping in the corner tonight.
