Laptop problems

So ok, my laptop is an asus X551m and I already took out the battery a few months back because it went bad and would cause the typical "black screen of death" deal. Anyways today while I was drawing it turned off randomly and when I went to turn it on, the light is on, i hear the fan slightly going and the screen is black so I figured unplugging it and doing the hold power and charge and replug it in and it didn't work. I saw things like press fn and f8 and/or  shift and/or power button. but if I hold down the power button to turn it  on while it's plugged in it will make a weird chirp noise.. so in general I need help and I hate asking for help, I looked on google and such so yeah.
