Paul - Chicago Bug

	Hey guys, I have not wrote in a while (but I still catch every episode)

Over the past few months, I have been E-Mailing with Joshua Stein, an OpenBSD developer and host (along with Branden Mercer, another OpenBSD developer) of the garbage.fm podcast (a podcast that covers a lot of technology but also has a fair amount of OpenBSD coverage).

We have been ranting about how despite being in a major metropolitan area, we can’t seem to find like minded BSD people, nor a club.  So we decided to try to form one.

TL;DR - a change in my job made me bow out of forming the club with Joshua, but I urged him to please keep trying if possible.  So he set up a mail list at http://chibug.org and would like to get the word out!

If you are in the Greater Chicago Area and are interested in all things BSD, sign up to the list and hopefully, a new BSD user’s group will not be far behind!
