  1. Hello, I'm Sazh Katzroy. I'm a Dark user that has been using the type since late gen 5, and I've made enough teams to know when a pokemon is at its best. This particular team is unique because of the fact that it is extremely prediction based and predictions could make or break you. Another reason is that it makes use of two mega stones. Okay, you're probably asking yourself, "...is this guy retarded?", and all I have to say to that is, no, I only used ghost for like 3 days(Ask Kammi what that means. ;P). But in all seriousness, there are two reasons I use Sabelenite and Tyranitarite on the same team:
  2.
  3. 1. Some matchups favor a certain mega evolution, such as Fire vs Mega Ttar or Fighting vs Mega Sableye. I will go over the matchups a bit later.
  4.
  5. 2. In my experience knock off, and trick have constantly destroyed my Sableye in the past, so instead of leaving an item off of Sableye, I added a second mega mega stone to my team. There's nothing like setting up on a failed Knock off/Trick attempt, it feels really good.
  6.
  7. Aside from the mega pokemon, the team consists of 3 wall breakers, and a intimidate lead. Please note, I said intimidate lead, NOT suicide lead. Krookodile is too valuable to throw away until mid game in my experience, and if used correctly it can take out 1 or 2 pokemon before it goes down. Intimidate is the one of the most important things on the team with the lack of mandi, and Krook's typing helps deal with Flying and electric with their bloody volt switching, even water if you can predict a V-switch from lanturn, which often results in a dead lanturn or a badly hurt pokemon on the oppnents team. Taunt stops pokemon like Ferro and Skarm, but the lack of fire blast requires you to switch out since Krook is not a suicide lead on this team. Stealth Rock is everyone's favorite hazard, and everyone will love you for using it. Crunch has a chance of a defense drop and that can assist Craw and Ttar in taking down those physically bulky pokemon. And Earthquake is...well, it's earthquake. It kills shit.
  8.
  9. Greninja with specs hurts a lot of things, and in my experience with this team power wins over flexibility. Greninja can OHKO Latios, Politoed, Sdef gastros(That were tanking grass knots... e.e), and many other threats to dark. The life orb variant can work too, and gives you a bit of an edge, but I like to use specs for this team. The beautiful thing about this Ninja is that it can 2hko switch ins such as Ttar, and Mega Venu(provided you have the proper move to deal with the tank.), but like I said before, you'll need to work on predicting to get the most out of your pokes.
  10.
  11. Hydreigon, the steel eater, is an great wall breaker with Draco meteor. And with good predictions, it can eat half of a steel team. Fire Blast, Earth Power, and Dark Pulse will have your opponent thinking very hard about their next move. Hydreigon fills its role as a hard hitting special attacker with a nice movepool with access to flash cannon, and surf(which isn't needed on this team for obvious reasons.).
  12.
  13. Crawdaunt, this thing... just... it's a killer. It has the possibility to 2hko Skarm and Ferro with a banded knock off. It also is extremely slow so it forces you to use it mostly through predictions, BUT aqua jet helps it kill faster pokemon after the rest of the team weakens them. Superpower hurts, and it's nice coverage against dark.
  14.
  15. Mega Ttar has a huge movepool, and there are so many things it can do. On this team Krook fills the role as the Hazard setter, so I made it an all out attacker. Stone edge, and earthquake are it's two main physical attacks and are quite normal on ttar. Fire blast helps take out pokemon that would normally wall it, and ice beam a nice surprise for those Lando and Garchomp switch ins. The mega stone is useful for extra damage, and if used correctly some extra turns of sandstorm. You can also trick people into bringing their weather bringing pokemon in, and then mega on the next turn. But watch out for Excadrill.
  16.
  17. Sableye, the Brawl Meta Knight of mono. Not banned because there are ways to beat it, but everyone hates fighting it. A physically defensive calm mind set works wonders and with predictions, can destroy a team. Do NOT use the mega stone until late game, you'll need prankster to set up calm mind, burn physicals, and stay alive. I use dazzling gleam, but Dark Pulse, and Shadow Ball could work. If you know a pokemon is going to wisp or tox you, and there are still pokemon left not burned, just switch out. Patience and predictions are what make this team work.

  72.
  73. Okay time to go over the matchups for each type that I fought during the CC challenge.
  74.
  75. Water: Keldeo and Azu have the ability to destroy your team, so goal here is to wear down the walls with Krook, ttar, and Sableye for Greninja to finish off. In the case of sap sipper Azu, use Krook's Sash to eat the play rough, then take the aqua jet. Then burn it with Sableye. Mega Sableye will be the mega to use here.
  76.
  77. Fire: Infernape, Zard Y, and the occasional Volcarona are the threats here. Use Krook to intimidate Nape's sash, then switch to Sableye to avoid the incoming CC/Mach punch, then to ttar to eat the overheat and bring the sand to finish. Switch ttar in as soon as you see Volca, they'll either switch or use an attack, ttar will eat it if they do. Zard Y is only a threat in the sun, and you should be able to counter that with Rocks/sandstorm. And you have a banded Crawdaunt... I shouldn't need to explain that. Mega Ttar is the mega to use.
  78.
  79. Grass: Breloom is pretty tough to deal with no mandi, but it'd possible. Till need to use Krook to intimidate and taunt/take the spore. Next bring in Sableye to burn it/the switch it. From there, you can start setting up minds or switch depending on the situation. Greninja and Hydreigon can take care of most of the pokemon on grass, but be careful of scarves. Mega Sableye is the mega for grass.
  80.
  81. Electric: Lots of predictions to win here. The top threat here is Thudurus it can paralyze everything, and it has superpower, I recommend using Krook to scare people into switching into a EQ immune pokemon then set up rocks, predict the superpower with a Sableye switch and burn something. Mega Amphy is dangerous, and you should wear it down before attempting to take it out. Rotom is annoying, but not that bad. Scarf Magnezone is a tough pokemon to deal with when scarfed, preserve ttar for that. And Sticky Web can be an issue, but with the bulk you have, and prankster sableye, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Crawdaunt can clean up late game if that's needed. I'd use mega ttar here, but mega ttar could work.
  82.
  83. Ground: Kinda tough, but still in your favor, watch out for Lando I, it can destroy your team quickly if you let it. Greninja can destroy most of the pokemon on ground, and it's a matter of predictions, and finding out if captain chompy is scarfed or not.
  84. Crawdaunt can kill almost everything if they're worn down, just watch out for gastro. I use mega Sableye here
  85.
  86. Fairy: ...no...
  87.
  88. Fighting: Krook, Ninja, Crawdaunt, and Sableye are your weapons against fighting. I lead out with Ttar against Nape leads to get sand up then stay in because most of the time they'll use their fire move, or taunt/rocks predicting a Sableye switch. EQ ohkos Nape/breaks the sash, and sandstorm finishes. Keldeo can be taken by Greninja, and the other pokemon are destroyed by Sableye, and Crawdaunt. Don't forget about about Krook, and intimidate. Refer to grass if you're having trouble with loom. I use mega Sableye here.
  89.
  90. Steel: Hydreigon, and Greninja can destroy this team, just work on your predictions, use Krook, and Sableye to wear down the team, then finish with Crawdaunt, Ninja, and Hydreo. You can use either mega, but I prefer Sableye.
  91.
  92. Bug: Bug is tough with no mandi, but luckily it's easy to keep rocks off of your side, and on theirs. Lead out with Krook, Sr if they lead with Galv, taunt is they lead with Ferro. Forre can't remove rocks if you switch Sableye in. You can take the failed rapid spin attempt to use calm mind, or switch to ttar to counter the incoming Volca. Sableye should be able to wall everything after Volca and Galv go down. If you find yourself trouble because of sticky web, Sableye and Crawdaunt are your answers. Wear the enemy down with burns, the Aqua Jet everything to death. I use mega Sableye here.
  93.
  94. Ghost: You shouldn't have an issue here. Watch out for scarf Gengie, and Chandy, both of which ttar can take care of. Mega Bane is annoying, but not too, bad, sack something to Destiny bond if you have to. As soon as you see Sableye switch to Hydrei, and Draco. Worst comes to you'll just have to let it set up and Mega, then come in with Crawdaunt and Crabhammer. It does 70 percent and it has a high crit ratio. They'll either switch or or try to recover. I use mega ttar here.
  95.
  96. Flying: Not too though, I would lead with Krook, then switch off they lead with lando t/thundy, or use taunt if they lead with Skarm. Again, predictions and wearing down the enemy team are both key to winning. Zard X is as annoying as my bitchy sister, especially when it's specially defensive, I recommend using Krook and Ttar against it. Keeping rocks up shouldn't be too much of an issue with taunt, so you'll wear everything down for your sweepers to clean up.
  97.
  98. Okay, I'm done. I wish I could've gone into more detail, but typing this on a phone is taxing. I know the two mega stones is strange, but look at the results. I hope you you could bear reading this, and I hope you have fun with the team.
  99.
  100. Goodbye, nerds.
