  14. These requirements only need to be done for one player in a town, aside from the player statues, which require you to pay off every debt with all 4 characters.

  18. Rules:

  20. - You are allowed to time travel.
  21. - You are allowed to travel between towns, and you are allowed to have as many towns as you want.
  22. - You are allowed to use Nook codes for any item at any time in the run, except the ones in the list below.
  23. - You are allowed to use any glitches in the game, such as duplication glitches, out of bounds glitches, etc.
  24. - You are allowed to use 1st party devices, including the GBA & Link Cable, e-Reader and e-Reader cards, etc.
  25. - You are allowed to stop the recording of the run (If you need to split up the files, want to stop recording while you sleep, etc.), but you must keep the timer going at all times.

  27. - You are not allowed to use pre-existing data made before starting the run (Saved letters, existing towns, etc.) on any memory cards used.
  28. - You are not allowed to have more than one console running the game at a time.
  29. - You are not allowed to use any cheat devices, save editors, etc.
  30. - You are not allowed to use any 3rd party hardware or software, including 3rd party memory cards, and so on.
  31. - You are not allowed to pause your timer. If you do, you will have to retime your run from start to finish, including time spent sleeping, taking a break, etc.

  33. - You are not allowed to use Nook codes for the following items at any time in the run:

  43. - Timer starts when you press start on the title screen for the first time.
  44. - Timer ends when the last dialogue box closes before K.K. Slider starts playing. You must end the run with a K.K. song, even if you have them all.

  49. If you have anyone assist you in the run by controlling the game directly, your run will need to be submitted as a co-op run, with the other player(s)'s name(s) listed as well.

  51. Having someone instruct you on what to do, bring you food, drinks, etc., or influence the run indirectly in any other way does not fall under a co-op run, but you are free to submit it as one if you want to.
