Prime Minister Yula Zimya was sitting at her desk, when she heard a knock on her door. "Mrs. Prime Minister, Bijker is almost here." Zimya spoke without looking up. "Send someone to receive him, then. If he wants to come here he can. If he wants to go to Palace, take him there. That will be all." Words were carried and the message conveyed. A limo
was taken to Ghish International to await the arrival of Bijker, with little fanfare.

The plane with the president landed on Ghish International, it was a large plane, with an orange belly, and the federalenvlag on its tail.

A few men in suits stood in front of the limo as the plane landed, waiting for Bijker to emerge.

it took a few minutes before the door opened, first the staff of the secret service left, to shake the hands of the ghantish security personnel. and then the president emerged, waving to the small crowd.
The President walked to the limo

One of the men stepped forward. "Welcome to Ghant", he said in Legendardian. "Where would you like to go, Mr. President?"

'Thank You, its a great pleasure to be here in Ghish. I would like to meet Nathan first.'
he calmly said in Ghantar, atleast the best he could do

"You speak Ghantish? Splendid. Please, hop in. We have enough room for all of your companions as well." He replied in Ghantish.

Bijker entered the limo, with his wife next to him and his two advisors. all had a crossed flag pin with the flag of Ghant and Legendardisch

Once everyone is inside, the limo began moving. The city was cloudly, and people went about their business as usual.

''Legendardisch surely seems to be a bit forgotten in Ghant nowadays'' he said in English ''Tourism from Ghant is low, only the Emperor and his family visit their holiday mansions once in a while'' he said, with a smile.
''I hope to show the people that Legendardisch and Ghant have deep thick roots with eachother.''

The one man who spoke Legendardish, responded. "Wounds from the Revolution have not yet fully healed. Many Ghantish people are still embarrassed and hang their heads in shame."

''But there is no need for that, they shouldn't be ashamed for a Emperor who was crazy'' he said.
''but to be fair, we didn't forget the revolution either, that is shown in our naval strenght, or well, overall in our armed forces.''

"If the people would have known what he was capable of, they would have acted against him more quickly. By the time people knew what his mental condition was, it was already too late. Although, I suppose there is some good to be found in any bad situation"

Within a few moments, they approached the Imperial Palace. They pulled around the side, into the garage. "Here we are, Mr. President. A feast awaits you tonight, should you have an appetite." He gestured towards the guided door with a man standing stoicly at its side..

The guard knew who they were. He opened the door, and another man on the inside lead bid they follow him. Through the Palace they walked, for a time, until they came to a large set of double doors. The man knocked three times, and then the door opened. The Emperor of Ghant was there. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Bijker. Welcome to my house."

Bijker shook the hand of the Emperor, so did his wife. ''It's a pleasure to be in Ghish, and its a pleasure to meet you, highness.'' he said

"The Emperor nodded. "The pleasure is mine. Please, call me Nathan. Come inside, this room is one that you might want to see." He turned around and walked in. It was an armory, with weapons, armor, and the like of many varieties. In the middle was a set of gold armor. "See that gold armor there? That was the armor of Samuel V of Ghant, and Samuel I

Bijker entered the room and saw the antique weapons 'He was indeed a noble man, and Legendardisch still honors him, he has a great battleship named after him. Ghant and Legendardisch are named in more ways than names however. also, you do have a city in Legendardisch named Nathanstad you know. but dont tell Nathan Van Hermsoogen tough' he said with a smile

''Well, its named after a Legendardian named Nathan or Natan if you prefer, but over time it became Nathanstad, and the mayor, coincidently called Nathan, formerly Natan and you know. but its more like after the horrifics of the Revolution.''

The Emperor stiffened. "Apologize? There is no need, I understand. Legendardisch has much a reason to wish to see the throne abolished, considering what that throne has done."

''That could played in our opinion, its just that we did not evaluate how Ghant would be without its throne and monarch'' he said ''But I do stand behind my opinion that in someways Ghant is in need to be reformed, ofcourse i could discuss that with you, but i could to that with Zimy, tough i am afraid that she does not listen to those aspects, and would go to the Republic Discussion''

The Emperor chewed on his lip. "This country would burn if it moved towards a republic. Any leader that takes the time to think outside of their box and put themselves in our shoes would come to realize that."

''But our plans, or ideas, for the welness of Ghant would not make Ghant a republic, altough we took some things that mostly comes from a republic institute.'' he said.

The Emperor walked out of the room. He walked through the hallways, and after one particular turn, he stated that. "This Palace is like a maze. I mentally prepared myself long ago to run into the Minotaur, which my grandfather said lurks in the deeper parts of the Palace."

"Indeed I should." He pushed the large, guilded doors of the feast hall open, and the feast was laid out on the table. There were only a few others seated at the table, notably among them the Lady Belmore, who got up from her seat to greet them. "Hello all. ched the group. She was wearing a tight green dress that revealed all of her curves. She was of moderate height, with soft brown hair and dark green eyes. She smiled as she approached. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. President."

She walked over to the Emperor. "The pleasure is all mine, I can assure you."

The Emperor took his seat, and gestured to the seats to his right. "Where is Sophia at?" Nathan asked the room. "Off doing something, I would imagine." Said one of his dinner guests. He leaned over to Bijker. "She should be here shortly. She is not one to miss dinner guests. And don't mind Lady Belmore. She is a bit...forward when the Empress is...

Nathan shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "No. I have never been intimate with the Lady Belmore, nor do I intend on such in the future. I suspect she wants that, though."

The Empress was all elegance, in her flowing violet dress, with her hair in a bun that bounced behind her head. "Welcome to our home, Mr. and Mrs. President." She said as she bowed. "I am Sophia, Empress of Ghant." She took her seat to Nathan's left.

Sophia smiled. "You are very kind to say so, my lady." She looked at the President. "Was there anything in particular that you wanted to discuss, Mr. President?"

"Economics, the literacy of Ghant, our differences, and how Ghant must become stronger in NEDO, which to be fair, is not really at this point. i would like to say more, some sad stuff aswell, but  I am not here to really say such classified stuff where everyone is at."

The Emperor grunted, and made a motion to speak. Sophia put a hand on his arm, and then she spoke. "Literacy of Ghant, indeed a point of concern. You see, the thing is that education is voluntary, as it might be not...kosher to make it compulsory. People that want to go to school, and learn, have the right to, and have access to it as well. s only good as it can be enforced. You see, Ghant does not have the manpower or the ability to go to every clan and tribe in the deepest recesses of the country and round up children to attend school. So attendance is largely up to them to decide."

''But you know this can be harmfull to the economy and armed forces of Ghant in the long run, to be fair, the forces of Ghant are a bit outdated, and only manufacturers and educated soldiers, pilots and captains will be able to solve that.  however with my recent contact with one of your lords one thing came clear to me, that some lords demonize education. i think that if the emperor shows that going to school is fun, gives children experiences, makes them know more about the world bigger than their own village and the fact that they build social skills. really, i dont see how that will fail.''

''The more skills a man has, the more productive he is, to put it in terms of those northeners, better weapons equals a better warrior, better understanding of agriculture equals better harvests, i am sure those people want to learn those skills, and then slowly that fear that somehow education is evil will be gone.''

Nathan chuckled, and then spoke. "You don't realize it, do you? In the North, all children born within the same cycle are raised communally. All of the children of the clan, or tribe, are your responsibility. And that system goes all the way up to the Chief. If people start leaving the clan or tribe to go to school, or to college, then the clan, or
tribe ceases to exist."

I have strong indications that Ausitori/Libraria might be causing a full out war on the Escae continent, in all of our interests. we must avoid that at all costs. but i dont think that Demphor will be reliable if their navy is shared with that of Ausitoria.'' he said in a serious tone

After walking around a bit, they came upon the doors to the garden, and Nathan pushed them open. "Well, here we are. Feel free to light up. You will have to excuse my wife. She is both very excited and very nervous for the first child. She is obsessing over it. Could be the next Emperor in there. She wants to make sure that everything is...good."

"I would hope that the psych upholds their neutrality and keeps their oath. Oh, right. You and your wife and companions can stay in the Palace, if you would like."
