Born to a classy couple with a penchant for collecting weapons and exotic animals, Ayumu was always a curious and fun-loving child. Always pampered, it wasn't until he drew his father's most prized possession from its sheath that he learned of his capability. Any weapon he picked up, for some reason, he immediately mastered. Fascinated, he showed this ability to his father by calling him into the dojo and slashing a dummy into fifteen pieces. Needless to say, his dad was mortified. <br><br>
Ayumu was only seven then. In his teenage years, after he had swiftly learned every weapon available to him - much to his parent's dismay, but he wasn't hurting himself - he began to take an interest in the animals all around him. However, this resulted in him chasing his parent's pet fennec fox out into the forest, and being attacked by a bear. But what the bear wasn't expecting was for the young man to sprout claws and stab it in the eye, successively scaring off the creature. <br><br>
It wasn't until college that he understood why he was so different - he was a mutant, born of two other mutants and inheriting their abilities. Once he learned of this, he decided to get a simple Associate's and drop out of college in favor of taking advantage of the hand dealt to him. Now he is a freelancing mercenary for hire, living where and how he wishes. <br><br>

<b>Weapon Mastery</b>: Due to a mutation, every weapon that Kimura picks up is immediately mastered. It is unknown as to how this ability works, but he theorizes it has something to do with the weapon's history, and weapons like it throughout history. <br>
