- Backstory:
- The Tsukareta Kawa isn't a particularly fast river, as its name might suggest. It's also not very wide, doesn't have a strong current, and isn't even that deep. Its goddess, Mizuki, takes on many of these aspects. She's lazy, doesn't particularly care about events around her, and would spend her days sleeping and reading romance manga if she could. She does have a working shrine, however, and it is staffed by a Shrine Maiden named Nanami who has been forced into the duty of keeping Mizuki from wasting her time lazing around and forgetting about the actual important things she should be doing. Still, getting the goddess to do much of anything takes a good, long yelling period and often the snatching of whatever trashy shojo manga she's reading out of her hands.
- Description: Wearing a plain blue sundress and a simple straw hat, Mizuki doesn't really stand out. The rest of her is pretty plain as well, average features across the board, to complement her lazy, peaceful stream.
