Some smart asses are like..oh this is OLD NEWS...yes it has been around but for the people who dont know and use their computers for business...get knocked offline and see how much money you lose. For the people who "KNOW EVERYTHING" why do you even comment on the thread regarding Ddos attacks and knocking you offline. This has been well known in our communities for years but for people who arent as INTELLIGENT as you act and cant afford to be hurt with their business etc...this is IMPORTANT information and also to get your asses off of SKYPE until they do something about it. For the people who appreciate the info you are welcome.

Just had another guy tell he how "fucking stupid: it was to post about the SKYPE IP ISSUE. I am teaching everyone how to do it. Actually Brainchild...I am teaching people reasons NOT TO HAVE SKYPE so if you keep it you are the one who is actually "fucking stupid"///one more post like that and you are deleted

It seems Skype has become a prolonged problem with keeping ones IP Address private from outside sources. Despite Skype giving the option to hide ones IP address, they have since made it where it's only hidden from those not on your contact list. This presents a problem to those doing "Skype In" shows which often accept random and unknown folks onto their Skype. Several folks have been targeted with DoS (Denial of Service) attacks using the information the attackers publicly obtain via Skype name resolvers. At this time it doesn't seem Skype will change this anytime soon so we've began looking at alternatives that keep such information more secure from attackers. One alternative being Google Hangouts. We feel folks should give Google Hangouts a try, although different layout than Skype, it appears to offer a safer environment for folks that want to do "Call In" shows or chat with folks in general.
