Two Cow Bambaras and an Octoman reached the Octoking and quickly dashed past a stunned Denver, coming close enough to Don that on the next turn they would be within melee distance.

"...I see, that's your plan." Seeing that her hands wouldn't budge and sensing the killing intent from Kira, the Swordmaster narrowed her eyes, keeping her cool expression despite the danger.

As if taking the essence of water, the Swordmaster ducked under the strike from behind, leaving behind a shadow of herself that was cut to ribbons. The next moment, a powerful kick swept the giant Racket off his feet, having been aimed precisely to throw off his center of balance.

The Swordmaster, having used the burst of speed to pull back to a considerable distance, sheathed her freed blades and did not attack again while the party was thrown off, likely acknowledging the problem of all-out offense. Instead, her body stance lowered, as if she were preparing for a special move.

Filled with renewed strength, he suddenly struck the earth with the blade and caused the very ground to quake with the smash, an explosion of air surging from the technique which forced the Death Girl back.

One of the other adventurers cried out, as they were constantly assailed by waves of holy skeletons and other monsters that followed in the windsails of the Octoking. Supported by the Battle Notes' reinforcement, they were a force to be reckoned with.

Parrying the next blow, he thrust with his halberd with a powerful attack that disturbed the wind, the Halberd gaining the power of a siege weapon for a moment as he battered the monster with it.
