Through the forest, dark and grim
Past the faces never seen
I don’t know where I am going to end up the other day
I’m not scared of time and space
They will not slow down my pace

The river glinted idly
And gentle sunshine stroke me mildly
Confused, I woke up on a warm and pleasant sandy bank
A young man, nice and friendly
From wooden boat was waving at me
But something in him got me scared and so away I ran.

He shouted “Wrong direction!”
But little did I hear
I need to come back to you, I have promise to fulfill!

So smoothly time was flowing
I was excited, I kept going
But when I was already close, I suddenly got scared
What if you love me no more?
If you forgot me, what’s it all for?
What if my journey was in vain, what if you never cared?

But this is my decision and this is what I choose
I won’t give in, I shall proceed; I have nothing to lose!

I was crying as you grinned
You were laughing as I screamed
I was pleading for your mercy, but in vain for you had none
