Sinnoh Episode 9

The next day, we see the two teens traveling south after beating Ken Masters for their 4th gym badge. Each one of them had to win a very tough battle against him with their starters finally evolving to their final forms, Blaziken for Yang and Infernape for Joudai. Yang in particular is extremely happy as she walk with her hands behind her head with a wide smile as Joudai merely have a confident grin on his face, hands in his pockets.

"Maaaaaan, this is so cool..we're halfway done with the Sinnoh Badge Collection, Joudai!" She turn around and walk backwards facing him. "Isn't this exciting?!?" "Heh.." Chuckling as he turn to look at her. "Yeah, it is...Hard to believe only 2 days have passed, huh?"

"We're blitzing through this shit easily..." She turn back around and clench a fist in front of her with a smirk. "One more step to crushing my mom..."
Joudai stop walking and rubs his chin. "You really seem to have it out against your mom...Why's that?" Yang stops and sighs as she look around and see a tree. "Let's go take a break near that tree..." She nods her head at it and walk over with Joudai walking over and sitting down next to her. "So...You may know this by now, but me and my mom don't see eye to eye." She look at him with a serious gaze, seeing that he's listening, she continues as she look up. "Well, she wasn't in my life growing up from the beginning..."

"She gave birth to me and about 3 years afterwards, just left me and my dad." Joudai leans back against the tree as Yang continues to look forward with a solemn expression. "My dad told me that she wanted to continue her Pokemon career and felt that was more important than her own family..."

"Ouch..."
She nods. "Yeah...eventually my father married one of his friends, Summer Rose, a former Pokemon Coordinator master who gave birth to my little sister, Ruby Rose..who's following her footsteps as a Coordinator in Johto."
"Interesting..."
Joudai nods as Yang continues. "You know..." She grin a bit as she look at the pokeball in her hand she pull off of her waist. "I never liked Pokemons as a kid, seeing how...Raven...chose them over me left a terrible taste in my mouth." Joudai never expected someone like Yang--who adores her pokemons-- would had hated them as a kid. "That's...wow.."

"Yeah..me...disliking Pokemon...crazy, huh?"
She sighs and sit down next to him as she scoot to him. "As I grew older, I slowly warmed up to them until at the age of 14, I told my dad that I wanted to become a trainer...figured I might as well see what's all the buzz is about Pokemon and see why...Raven....would choose them over me. So Dad and Mom sent me to the Trainer's School at Rustboro and I stayed there until 18 which I graduated with my Torchic...and a year later, I hear of mom being the Sinnoh Champ here." She shakes her head "No...I've been knew..of course she's the champ of this region since I was like 5....I wanted to come here and battle her."
"And defeat her.." She add quietly..

"........Do you hate her?"
Yang gives Joudai a confused look. "Do you hate Raven?"
"Wh-what?" She shakes her head and scowl at him. "Of course I do! She left me!!" Joudai gives a thoughtful sound as he lean against the tree. "Understandable, but from how you speak of her, I would had expected more insults hurled at her."

"Tch, whatever.." She roll her eyes and rest her chin on her hand with her baleful stare and do her best to convince herself that she really did hated her mom despite somewhat feeling doubtful as Joudai suspected. "(Fine..if he knows my reasons...Let's hear his!)". "So..why are YOU a trainer?"
Joudai was resting his eyes before hearing her, he open them up and see her looking at her with a curious look. "That's easy...Spite."

"Spite....as in the Pokemon move or.."
He roll his eyes and smirk. "No, silly..Back at Jubilife Trainer School, a lot of my peers felt and told me face to face that I wouldn't be a good trainer...so I decided to become one JUST to spite them all."

"Ah...sometimes anger and hate is a good motivator..."
"Yup, helps that early on before meeting you, I've beaten some of them."

Yang smiles and turn to him. "Nice...names?"
He hold out both of his hands and list them. "There's Dio, Dorothea, Hilda, Caspar...those four aren't good tho no matter how much they try to tell you. Like Caspar taught his Onix fucking DRAGONBREATH.."

"Dude!" Yang stiffles a laugh here and there as Joudai continues. "And that's not the worst of it...Dorothea's Vulpix only knows Fire Moves..." "BROOOOOO!" Yang lay down on his lap and laughs her ass off. "You can't be serious!" Joudai pats her head and nods. "Yeah, and Diego...or Dio as everyone calls him..That guy would lose 100 times and come up with a unique excuse for each one..."
"But there's one guy who was the best in our graduating class named Ares...the guy's great...and I haven't fought him yet..." Joudai feels Yang getting up as she stand on her feet and hold a hand for him. "But you gonna beat him, right?" He smiles and take her hand as she help him up. "Naturally..."
"Good...now...those 2 girls...how cute were they?"

"Like....super thicc?"
Yang shakes her head.. "Well, they probably like you or something.." "How do you know that?" Yang gives him a confused look before smiling.. "Call it a woman's intuition...Now let's go, Pastoria City awaits us!!"


The two begin to walk before Joudai, in a moment of bravery(Or is it a lack of intelligence?) slaps Yang's ass and sprint his own off as she chase after him with a red face and a wide smile, eager to 'have fun' with him.
Meanwhile, watching from a tree far away with binoculars, Raven was able to deduce what they were saying as they sat down by reading lips. "Well.." She eats some cashews and swallow the nuts whole. "She's a go-getter..." She then drop down and begin to walk towards the city through the trees... "Like me in a way.." Wearing a proud smirk, Raven make her way to the city to check in on the new gym leader.. "I wonder how Chrom's daughter doing..." She check her phone and see who's fighting her now and pale a bit upon seeing that Camilla is fighting her. "...poor girl...she's in for a rude awakening.."

Tucking the phone in her jacket, she continues her trek...
