  1. UPDATE: This paste no longer has meaning due to the spam problem being drastically cut because of the changes the Admin has implemented. But I'm leaving it up so there is at least something to read for anyone who stumbles across Zillatain's pastebin.

  4. Hello purveyor of the PasteBin website,
  5.
  6. If you are reading this, most likely you are looking at Zillatain's pastes and wondering what this "Sluggy spammer" business is all about...or you're bored and like rifling through random peoples' pastes.
  7.
  8. I'm going with "bored" for both answers.

  10. Anyway, the forum at Sluggy.net like many forums has a spam problem. To help combat this problem, new posts by new members have to be approved by a moderator or the administrator before anyone else sees them. So the posts that have proven themselves to be real humans get approved. And those showing themselves to be spammers are disapproved and their names are put into one of the lists you see.
  11.
  12. I am one of the moderators that handles the approval process. These lists of spammers are to help the admin easily prevent them from ever posting again. Whenever the admin handles a current spammer list, I change that list's expiration date and start a new list. But until that happens I keep adding to the current list any new spammers that appear instead of starting a new paste everyday.
  13.
  14. Lastly for your information if you are still reading, Sluggy.net is the forum for the website Sluggy.com, which is home to the long running (since 1997) webcomic, Sluggy Freelance by Pete Abrams. Once you get tired of the Pastes, maybe you could check it out...
