Creation of the sword

[15:20:41] Gildas laid his broken sword on Kai's counter and gave him an angry look. "Maybe you shouldn't have lost your mind. This sword was special to me... I was the very first thing i bought when i became an official arbitrator. It was more of a memory than a weapon. I came here for two reasons Kai. The first of which is to either repair my sword or get me a new one. You owe that much at least. Remember the hand? Sigh. The other reason is not so easy to explain. My future plans are going to be very dangerous, that is why a new weapon is a necessity. Please, think of this as a favor rather than compensation. I have not asked you for much have I? You have the right to refuse... I suppose i could buy another sword."

[15:34:20] Kaiza would look down to Gildas' broken sword. "Maybe if you weren't a darkness user in the first place. If you want to get technical it wouldn't have been broken if you didn't rely on darkness. You wouldn't have been through so much pain if you didn't rely on darkness. You wouldn't have put me through that if you didn't rely on darkness. My wife wouldn't have been put in fucking danger if you didn't rely on darkness. You may think of this dumb sword as a symbol of sentimental value but it is just a piece of forged metal Gildas'! I don't know if you know this but I disliked you when I first met you because you were a darkness user but i gave you a chance and have been put through so much because of it. I will make your damned sword but you will not come into my house and tell me about losing ones self!" Kaiza shouted as his hands damn near broke the counter.

[15:49:42] "At least you have a family.... Yes i relied on the darkness because i was weak, but ever since i strove to be better. I strove to better myself so that others would not be dragged down by my mistakes. As for you. I knew you disliked me, but i put it aside because i knew why. Its always darkness this darkness that, and that is what i am trying to change dammit! Why does darkness have to be a one way street huh!? Not all who use darkness choose it out of some evil desire. Some are just scared or want to overcome their own weakness, can you blame them for that? Ever since the dark started to speak to me, i hated it and myself since i had accepted the dark in the first place. I don't need you to reinforce what i have been telling myself for over twenty fucking years! I am determined to change the fate of all who use the darkness. I will find a way for all darkness magi who are lost and afraid... walk down a just path, and if i cant find one... I will make it myself...." He stood up and walked out of the house. "I need some air."

[16:04:12] Kaiza examine the blade ignoring Gildas taking his leave for the moment. He would then throw the sword in the trash. "This is completely irreparable. we'll need to get some material to make a new one." he said to himself before walking out the house as well. He would walk passed Gildas to a calm and peaceful area. He would stand there thinking about everything that has happened in recent events. He would cross his arms lost in thought wondering how he could possibly find the way or time to create Gildas' new sword, he honestly had no clue.

[16:54:33] Gildas sat on some rock near the ocean and pondered on their conversation. Reflecting, Gildas realized that he acted way too stuck up and entitled when he requested Kai's help. "This is not like me at all! Is it from the journey? Stressed? Or maybe i am just getting full of myself since things have been going well for me recently. Heh I bet the voice is laughing at me right now wherever it is." He sat on the rock for a long time, just gazing into the ocean. He decided he needed to cool his head and decided that a swim would help. Taking off his shirt, cloak, and armor, Gildas waded into the ocean and submerged. He swam along the shoreline, just letting his body act automatically, occasionally surfacing for air.

He eventually rounded a corner and when he rose for breath, he saw Kai looking out into the ocean. Gildas stopped swimming and sighed. He swam to the shallows and sat on the sand and watched the waves crash and form anew.

[17:21:00] Kaiza stared upon the vast ocean as the waves crashed onto the rocks beneath him. He would think upon every problem he had of his own, and every problem he solved of others and compared the two. It was amazing, not only did he help more people than himself but he did so at least ten times over. Although he wasn't the type of person that would ask nor want a thank you in return it would still pain him that he couldn't solve his own problems. Gildas didn't know why Kaiza hated Darkness so much, and may never know, but he had a damn good reason. A good amount of time flew by ask Kaiza began to meditate in the air only using gravity to keep him up. He would open his eyes just to see what looked like a meteorite hurtling towards Byson. It wasn't large enough to do damage but it was big enough to demolish that house it was aiming towards. Kaiza would drop hi sword and cloak and let his feet his the ground so that he could push gravity in the opposite direction so that the meteorite would at least be slowed.

His feet dug into the ground as he forced his mana into a force of gravity pushing off of his body. He would step forward slowly hoping that would help but it did not. The only thing it did do was make the strain on him that much more. He would keep his hands up as if he was holding the meteorite up from such a great distance. It was hard on him to say the least, and the mass of the meteorite seemed to grow larger and larger. Kaiza would then use a powerful burst of cosmic energy and shoot it from his hands that were already raised from using gravity. He would take as much off of the meteorite as he could draining his mana quickly from holing the damn thing up and shooting what seemed to be cosmic bullets at it. This was not going to be easy but he was not going to fail.

[17:50:52] Gildas heard a roaring sound above him and looked up. His eyes widened in shock as he noticed a meteor falling down. A moment later, he saw the meteor start to slow down. He turned to Kai who, as Gildas suspected, was using gravity magic on the meteor. His eyes went back to the meteor and then followed its trajectory. As he feared, the meteor would hit at least one house in the town. Standing up, Generating a cloak of darkness to cover his upper body, Gildas ran to the shore and towards the house. As he passed Kai, he said "Sorry about earlier. You got this."

He knocked on the door of the house, and when he did not receive a response, destroyed it with fire magic. He searched the house, finding an older couple sleeping in one of the upstairs rooms. Picking one up in each arm, Gildas rushed out of the house and brought them to the town square. Running back, he ran to every house that was close to the possible impact zone and told them to evacuate. The ones that were too stubborn to move usually obeyed when they saw Gildas' magic aura flare up.

After he was finished evacuating the civilians, Gildas returned to Kai's location. "The civilians are taken care of Kai! You are fine! Let me give you some help. No point in making you do all the hard work all over again.. After all, you have to deal with enough. A meteor really is just a candle on the shit cake right?" Gildas flared up both his darkness and fire magic at full power.

[18:19:53] Once Gildas returned Kaiza had a sigh of relief that was quickly interrupted by a pulse feeling coming from the meteorite. It seemed as if Gildas' attacks were forcing it to expand while Kaiza's attacks were making it decrease. If Gildas were to attack with a few more it would surely explode destroying way more than just one house. "Gildas stop shooting it you might make it explode! Just let me focus on stopping it then we can figure this out!" he shouted over the roars of his gravity magic. Kaiza's cosmic aura began to emanate from his body as his eyes started glowing white.

Kaiza's aura looked as it it was leaving his body traveling up his gravitational force to wrap around the meteor. It was making it shrink somehow, Kaiza didn't know why it was reacting like this with his cosmic abilities but he wasn't going to question it. He finally got the meteor to stop at least fifteen feet away from the shore they were standing at. Out of breath and exhausted Kaiza would still hold the meteor up with gravity to inspect it. "It seems that it reacts to you dark fire quite a bit wouldn't you say... I think it likes you heh." Kaiza joked.

[18:39:31] "Likes me huh? Kai i think I have a great idea." If this meteorite reacted so positively to his darkflames to the point that it could explode... If it were to be stabilized somehow, it would be the perfect conduit for his magic! Usually wands and staves were used to as conduits to help channel magic, as they were much more effective than simply using one's own hands. However, most magi use weapons like swords, spears, and axes, so wands and staves were mainly used by magi who stuck primary to magic alone. However, with this meteorite, a possible union came to mind. Gildas smiled. It just so happened that he was in need of a new weapon, and Kai did say he was going to make him one. From a near tragedy, a possible godsend may have shown itself. Gildas turned to Kai, "I think we just found what we needed to make my new sword, if we can stabilize it and keep it from exploding. One the plus side, we have a good bit of material to work with, so we have some room for error. What do you say Kai? Ready to create your masterwork? And don't worry, i am here to help."

[18:51:28] Kaiza would look to Gildas as if he was crazy, to put so many lives in danger for a sword. Then again if it was to explode it was close enough for Kaiza to make it implode before anything else. "Well, fine... but do just as I say and nothing less we will have to do this perfectly. No I am going to have you force as much as that darkflame as you can into it before I can feel it ready to burts with your energy. Then you will stop and let me stabilize it with some cosmic magic. Then as it becomes somewhat stable you will need to force in a steady amount of darkflames as I do cosmic energy okay, lets do this." he would say as he pulls up his sleeves.

"Alright Go! As much as you can Galdas'!" he shouted over Gildas' roaring black flames. "Alright enough now I must stablize it!" He said before forcing his cosmic energy into the thing to calm the reactions it was giving "alright Gildas, now we need to put in the exact amount of mana based energy so that it will be able to respond to your power without exploding, ready go!" he said before his eyes began to glow white as the crackling noises of his cosmic magic could be heard.

[19:10:14] Gildas followed Kai's instructions to the letter, first pouring as much shadowflame as he could into the meteorite then cutting off to let Kai do the same with cosmic. Next Gildas tempered his darkflame as much as he could and then poured in a steady stream of darkflame into the meteor. Gildas kept his eyes on Kai's cosmic ray so that he could match the strenth and flow in order to prevent an imbalance. One mistake could have grave consequences. He could feel the meteor radiate an unnatural amount of heat that caused the water below it to evaporate. Steam started to surround the duo as their operation continued. As more and more energy flowed into the meteor, the amount of heat that it generated only increased. At first Gildas thought his eyes were playing tricks on him, but even the stone in front of them was starting to melt. Gildas was about to abandon the plan entirely when he felt the heat start to subside. He was not sure, but it seemed like the energy inside the meteor was becoming less wild and unstable. "Kai we almost have this. Just a little more!"

[19:23:53] After everything was done perfectly Kaiza would switch to Gravity Quickly compressing the new mineral they have just created. "Alright Gildas thats enough I've got it from here." He said before He would construct and morph it using nothing but strong pulls of gravity. It would start to glow as he added a little more cosmic energy for stabilization as he got it down to the perfect size. It was as if a firework exploded right before there eyes as Kaiza let it float down slowly. It was a four foot long 6 inch wide twisting blade made of cosmic darkfire. Sounded amazing, lets just see how great it actually is. Kaiza would take it out of the air and walk back to his house not saying a word as he stares at the blade. He would walk inside the house and pull a few black leather stripes from a chest and create a comfortable grip on the hilt of it. He would then hold it out for Gildas to take.

"Sir Gildas of Dragana Vansa, I bestow upon you the powerful blade, Lævateinn made of cosmic darkfire it's self."

[19:51:12] Gildas stared in awe at the blade that Kai had produced. The patterns along its edge seemed to dance in his presence. The darkflame and Kai's cosmic energy had created something entirely new to this world. "I humbly accept this magnificent blade Kaiza Nagano of Dragana Vansa." He placed his hand on the grip and took a stance with his new blade. Almost immediately, the sword blazed with darkflame without any action on Gildas's part. "Amazing Kai! It seems to be able to manifest the shadowflame that i poured into it when we were stabilizing it! This is a marvel in and of itself! Think if we had dozens of those meteors, all responding to a different magic. Why you would be the richest man in Valmasia." He turned smiling at Kai "I can't thank you enough for this Kai. I mean it, this is amazing."

His face turned somber as he remembered something. "As for earlier... I want to apologize. I acted like an entitled asshole treated you like shit. I am sorry. As for you hating the darkness and me... well i can live with that. I promise i won't turn out like any of those occultists. If anything, now that i have control, i want to stop others from becoming like them and to help those that already have. Also, i am sorry that i keep relying on you when i don't do anything for you in return. If you need anything, just tell me OK? I feel like i got quite a bill to pay off." His smile came back a little at that.
