Missive to all SC Istanbul residents

The stars fly by, as the end draws nigh.
Tonight we stand high, as all of us cry
"Weep not! We shall never die!".
And suddenly, farmers and warriors alike
say "My oh my! Look what ahead lies!".
For a new city, upon ye all shines its light.
It retains all's might, and shouts "Hi!".
In the land where ports sell Chai,
in the realm reborn, lives you and I.
As the seas roar, a snowy empire sleeps to lavender.
And in your new homes, you won't find anyone named Jeremiah.

Bonjour, citizens of Istanbul! This is your presumably friendly server owner, Snowyfox.
Soon, the city's warp gate will be closing, and everyone will sadly be evicted.
Fear not, for the city is saved nice and comfy in my hard disk, and I shall do my best
to ensure that it is backed up and kept it in a state where it's very hard to permanently
eject the city to the void, so should I feel the need to revive this precious server of ours,
keep an eye out for "SC Istanbul Reloaded" or anything with a similar name in the future.

While the SnowCraftian Empire's capital sets up its own bed, stay in touch with Aviationftw936,
MnemonicPear and other trusted friends for information on the devolopment of SC Portland, a
new colony being devoloped to succeed SC Istanbul. It will also be a spheres server, and will be
implementing a few or many of the suggestions and improvements that we have conjured up
during our stay here at this Taiga SCian city.

The new capital of the SnowCraftian Empire will be SC Portland. Your new leaders shall have
their seat of power there, because, well, where else? And once SC Istanbul gets all comfy in
its blanket, don't expect to see me much. I will essentially disappear from the MC world.

Otherwise, that's today's headlines for you.

Sincere gratitude to everyone that stuck with SC Istanbul until now since their first join.
Apologies, for I have nothing to offer you in exchange for your probably limitless loyalty.
And I don't think I have any way of atoning for the countless bulls you guys had to deal with
while I was around. I shall not place any names, for I believe you guys all know in your hearts
that you made SC Istanbul the glorious server it had been, no matter how much the contribution.

For those who believe that they have wronged in their stay at our server here, fear and grieve not,
for ye should remember in thy mind that you also belong inside the walls of the Valhalla of which
your friends drink their bottles of Hakutsuru Sake and sing the jolly old songs we never sung.
All is deserving of this wonderous fate.

INB4 Shut up, Snowy, you sound like some Medieval Arabian poet.

Again, thanks to every single one of you for the companionship, experiences, contributing to this
great server of ours, and for probably my only existant social life.

Sadly, all things must come to an end, so even if we made a revolutionary server that was small,
excellent, fun and housed a wonderful community, it cannot ride along the waves of glory and
peace forever in a game like Minecraft. Eventually, all of us shall split off and get on with what we
call our lives. Thus, I shall be the first one to publicly do so amongst our group of friends.

I think I shall end my speech here, I've said all that I need to say, I believe.
And I would recite our national anthem here if we had one. Sadly, nope.
But, of course, feel free to make one while I disappear for probably eternity.
